“Bends Hidden Gem! My dog has such a blast with Jill. As she puts it, it’s like going to grandmas house. My dog got to play in her fenced in yard. Go for a walk through the neighborhood , jump up on the couch if he pleased and rummage through her toy bin! Her house stays quite cool in summer so it made for a good escape from the heat. Jill is an excellent communicator and has just a general love and passion for animals. I would highly recommend her for anyone.”

“Christy was such a wonderful caretaker of our kitten! While we felt uncomfortable needing to board a young kitty, Christy was a tremendous relief and comfort while we were away. We received several videos a day, thorough information about how our kitty was doing and even helped us learn some new behaviors and interests our kitty was exhibiting. Sometimes I thought my wife was spending too much time messaging with Christy and not focusing on the trip (lol!), but Christy was more than generous with her time and was very patient throughout. Before our trip, Christy made herself available to meet us and our kitty at the park and it really helped ease our pre-travel anxiety! Once we returned for pickup, Christy packed all of our kitty’s things (which was a ton, sorry, Christy!) and sent her home with some toys that out kitty enjoyed playing with! They took the time to get to know him and his communication style, kept their own dogs on leashes while we did a meet and greet and asked smart questions if anything was unclear. We share a fenced back yard that is pretty large. It is about a quarter of an acre. I have one cat and she is very friendly with other animals. I used to live on a farm with her so she is used to other furry friends.
About: I have my own dog, got him at 12 weeks he is 7 now. I also grew up with dogs as a kid to adulthood. My dog has a lot of health problems so I know a bit when it comes to a sensitive dogs or ones that needs things done a certain way because of a condition. It really depends on the day, but mostly I could so daily or weekly. I’m dealing with some health stuff and my dog has too. So I’m currently working on those but have plenty of time most days to do something like this. I have a fenced in yard for my dog, when I was in college one house I did it so he was constantly on a leash outside, another house I was in had fences but had to patch them up and make sure he couldn’t get out. I also created my dog at night he loves his crate. During the day when he is alone he has most of the house free to roam, but I will put down potty pads just in case. If clients are okay with there dog out or crated I’m for both.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I’ve had pets growing up as well as currently, and have often watched dogs for friends and family over the years. I’m comfortable with different types of animals and have experience caring not only for dogs and cats, but also horses and chickens. When house sitting, I park in the driveway and stay nearby so I’m available for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day and evening. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and naturally build my routine around their needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar environment. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, routines, walks, and any special care needs. Because I stay in my camper van parked at the home, I’m nearby and available throughout the day and night if your pet needs anything. I aim to keep their routine consistent so they feel secure while you’re away. I’m calm, attentive, and respectful of both the home and the animal’s personality and boundaries. I’m also happy to send regular photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: We have both been around and owned dogs since we were kids. I worked in a vet clinic from the time I was 14 all throughout high school. I also worked with a dog groomer for a few summers. I am an Animal Behavior College certified Dog Trainer as well as a wildlife biologist. Let's just say I love animals!! We are cat lovers too and would be more than happy to care for them also! We would provide the same level care for your pets as you do. We like to treat them like a member of our family and hope that they enjoy their time with us so much that they hardly know you are away. We know it is an honor and a privilege to be trusted with caring for your fury family member and we take that seriously and strive to never disappoint. I currently work from home for my main career as a Spatial Data Analyst (wildlife related). Your pet would have someone around aside from the occasional trip to the store or other errand. I will always communicate openly about my schedule during your visit so you are aware of any times I may have to be out of the house. I have a large fenced backyard and a 4-year-old Great Dane to keep your dog company! Thus, for stays in my home your dog must be dog-friendly, non-aggressive, and not afraid of large breeds. I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.
About: Where Experience and compassion meet - I am a responsible, experienced pet sitter. Animals naturally feel comfortable around me and I LOVE cuddles so if they're a little needy I'm okay with that. I'm available any day. I work from home. I am just moving here and haven't found my permanent home yet so I'm willing to go to yours. Once I have a house with a yard I can bring pets to mine. I take care of them as their owners request. If there are minimal instructions I typically ensure they are fed/watered, and take for potty breaks every few hours. I play and cuddle if they're open to that or wanting that. I'm pretty attentive and most animals feel at ease with me immediately.

“Bends Hidden Gem! My dog has such a blast with Jill. As she puts it, it’s like going to grandmas house. My dog got to play in her fenced in yard. Go for a walk through the neighborhood , jump up on the couch if he pleased and rummage through her toy bin! Her house stays quite cool in summer so it made for a good escape from the heat.
