“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! She was incredibly accommodating to the needs and energy levels of our 8 year old malipoo and 1 year old boston terrier. She was able to provide medication for our maltipoo. Zuri was very flexible with pick up and drop off times which made leaving and returning from our trip a breeze. She kept us up to date with adorable pictures and videos of our dogs enjoying extra love, cuddles, and play time. Both dogs felt right at home cuddled up on the couch. Our boston terrier especially loved her dog Bonnie and her daughter. She and her daughter provided a safe and loving home for our babies while we were away! “This was our first time boarding Ginny with someone who wasn’t family or close friends, so I was definitely nervous. Dezarae was so great and sent daily updates with photos and videos without us having to ask, which meant a lot. Ginny can have some separation anxiety with me and my partner, but the consistent updates (and little details about how she was doing, especially with crate time) really helped ease my mind. Ginny clearly had the best time. She got comfortable with Dezarae’s dogs quickly and loved being part of their routine. We also booked pretty last minute and she was very flexible and accommodating. Ginny came home happily exhausted in the best way. We would absolutely book with her again.”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. The multiple levels of fenced kennel runs with bark chips were very well done, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing that both of my Weimaraners were safe and secure. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—growing up with cats, rabbits, hamsters, chicks, and ducks. Since 2018, I’ve raised a leash-reactive rescue dog, working through behavior training, crate training, and potty training. He’s now a well-adjusted senior, and I’ve developed a deep understanding of pet behavior, patience, and compassionate care. I’m currently pursuing my nursing degree and working while going to school. About: Hi! I'm Shealee, and I've always had a heart for animals. I've been around animals for most of my life, and my love for caring for them eventually led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, and boarding services. In that role, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking pets on potty breaks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising daycare playgroups, and caring for boarding pets while closely monitoring their health, behavior, and comfort. This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and adaptability are because every pet has unique needs. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll care for them with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! I am currently working two part-time jobs, and as I transition out of one of them, my schedule will mainly be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I am free any time in the morning up until 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. As a prior ACA, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I maintain clean spaces, follow detailed care instructions, and communicate consistently to ensure peace of mind.
About: Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, alongside childcare. I love all animals, and would love to meet and care for your furry babies as well! We have cared and house sat for many of my friends and families animals while they have been away. I also have experience from growing up with two pugs. David has experience from growing up with two Golden Retrievers. We have had experience administering meds, feeding, bathing, walking, and taking to vet appointments. Willing to help out and do what it takes to keep your furry babies happy and loved! We also currently have two cats of our own, a 16 year old Pug, and two crested geckos. About: Hello! My husband and I are newer to the Salem area, but I am not new to animals. I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, and I have been a certified vet tech since 2015, working professionally with animals since 2009. I have 5+ years experience in emergency medicine, I know how to administer medications, and have worked with dogs and cats of numerous breeds, sizes, and ages. I also have some experience working with other animals such as rabbits, mice, rats, hamsters, some reptiles and fish. I am working full time hours 3-4 days a week currently, but can be available for drop-in visits as well as overnight stays. On work days I am available early mornings and later evenings, and as long as you are comfortable, my husband can fill in the hours I am not available. I like to give pets the attention they need. I follow directions very well, and am very attentive to detail. I can also offer basic grooming services such as nail trims, ear flushing, and baths (all pending temperament of the pet). I feel confident administering any medications as prescribed by a veterinarian or over the counter.

“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! Ginny can have some separation anxiety with me and my partner, but the consistent updates (and little details about how she was doing, especially with crate time) really helped ease my mind. Ginny clearly had the best time. She got comfortable with Dezarae’s dogs quickly and loved being part of their routine. We also booked pretty last minute and she was very flexible and accommodating.
