“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! I have my own cat, Mango, so I’m very used to daily cat care like feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, treats, and paying attention to little changes in behavior. About: I grew up surrounded by kittens and cats! My grandma and mom were crazy cat ladies lol. I have a Siamese cat named Mochi! I rescued him as a kitten. He was found in a trash can covered in fleas, worms, and could barely keep his eyes open from excessive mucus. I spent every 5 minutes cleaning his eyes, treated his fleas/worms, showed him love, and trained him. He’s now an indoor kitty and he will be loved for the rest of his life! “If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. The multiple levels of fenced kennel runs with bark chips were very well done, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing that both of my Weimaraners were safe and secure. About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. About: I have nurtured cats since I was a young kid and dogs almost as long. I enjoyed working at a veterinary clinic for a year and eventually want a career focused on wildlife rehabilitation. Giving pets all the attention, care and affection they need is something I find deep value in. I do my best to treat your pets like family knowing that I would want the same treatment for my cat when I rely on someone to watch her! I am not available in the mornings unless I am taking care of them across multiple days. I am available in the afternoon and evenings both during the week and weekends. I am not able to keep your pets in my home because I have a very non-friendly cat. However I am more than happy to spend an afternoon with them at the park, take them on a short walk, or just stop in to make sure they are doing ok. I am also able to stay at your home or check on your pets multiple times per day if you will be out of town.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for family pets, including our two Chihuahuas and my sister’s Labrador. I’ve also spent time around cats through friends and roommates. I've been around animals for most of my life, and my love for caring for them eventually led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, and boarding services. In that role, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking pets on potty breaks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising daycare playgroups, and caring for boarding pets while closely monitoring their health, behavior, and comfort. About: Hello, I’m Anna! I’m a current graduate student at Pacific University navigating the world of online school. It’s a bit of a bummer, but has made it that much easier to be available for you and your fur baby! I’ve grown up with my own dog as well as regularly pup-sitting for family and friends! I have done both dog sitting in their homes, as well as taking them into my own home. I’m comfortable with dogs of any size, though smaller breeds would likely be more comfortable at my place. About: Hello! My husband and I are newer to the Salem area, but I am not new to animals. I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, and I have been a certified vet tech since 2015, working professionally with animals since 2009. I have 5+ years experience in emergency medicine, I know how to administer medications, and have worked with dogs and cats of numerous breeds, sizes, and ages. I also have some experience working with other animals such as rabbits, mice, rats, hamsters, some reptiles and fish. I am working full time hours 3-4 days a week currently, but can be available for drop-in visits as well as overnight stays. On work days I am available early mornings and later evenings, and as long as you are comfortable, my husband can fill in the hours I am not available. I like to give pets the attention they need. I follow directions very well, and am very attentive to detail. I can also offer basic grooming services such as nail trims, ear flushing, and baths (all pending temperament of the pet). I feel confident administering any medications as prescribed by a veterinarian or over the counter.
About: i’ve had animals of all kinds of entire life and i couldn’t love it more. Family members and neighbors have trusted me to feed, bathe, walk, and snuggle with there fur babies. i’m currently still in high school so i will have plenty of time to care for your animals. “We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki!
