About: We are a retired couple who loves dogs. We both have had dogs in our lives since we were children. We’ve been married 40 years, a throughout that time we have remained a multi dog household. All of our dogs have lived long full lives well in to their senior years. We live just outside of North Bend on a 1 1/2 acre fully fenced and cross fenced property. We have two small dogs who we dearly love. We specialize in small breed care, both overnight boarding, and daycare. Your dog needs medication? We got it ! Whatever your dog needs while your way, you can be sure your pup will receive the love and care that they deserve and you expect. Since we are retired, we enjoy a flexible schedule. We enjoy daily leashed walks with our two boys. Sometimes just around our quiet neighborhood, but more often to Horsfall Beach, Ferry Rd Park, Mingus Park or Coos Bay Boardwalk. If your dog is staying with us, he is welcome to join us. Harness and tether are used when traveling in a vehicle. We have a large fenced and cross fenced grassy yard. They have access to a dog door, so if you wish, your dog can have the freedom to go outside at any time. The fencing is in good condition, chain link, and is cross fenced into four sections which allows us to provide a small yard accessed through the dog door, or open up other gates to make a much larger area for running and exploring. We’re here to listen to your needs and follow your wishes and routine. Dogs are allowed in the home, on the sofa or wherever they are comfortable. Both my husband and I have passed an extensive background check through Rover. We have canine CPR and First Aid Certifications. Note: We ask that prior to boarding or daycare we schedule a meet and greet. This time allows us to observe your dog, let them explore the house and yard and how they interact with the other dogs in the pack. Most importantly it helps us ensure a safe, stress free and happy environment for all. We require proof that your dogs are up to date on their vaccinations, which is to include Bordetella and DHLPP given within the last 12 months and the Rabies vaccine which can be the one year or three year dosage. We require all dogs to be on routine flea and tick preventative. All dogs must be spayed or neutered

Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your specific instructions carefully—whether that's feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, or house rules. I keep you updated with photos and messages so you have peace of mind while you're away. We live on 6 private acres, so there's plenty of safe space for dogs to explore & no pets of our own if that's a concern (lost our German Shepherd last year and haven't been ready to get another yet). For walks, I use secure leashes/harnesses, stay aware of the environment, and adjust routes based on your dog's energy level and behavior.

I am a SAHM of a 4mo old and always looking for ways for us to get out of the house and enjoy the day. Taking care of pets is something I absolutely love doing and I would love to put your mind at ease with your fur-babies safe and secure in my care during a work day, or just strolling around town. I am able to bring your pet(s) into my home, but I want to make it known that I do have 3 (indoor/outdoor) cats and 1 dog that are my own. All of my animals are friendly but my hound mix is usually at work with my husband so your pups would get the benefit of 1on1 time with myself and eventually my daughter when she’s old enough to play! Any rules you set forward are first and foremost and will help establish what you need from me while caring for your fur-babies. I am currently a stay at home mom with no set schedule, so I would be 100% attentive to your furry friend. My daughter and I love to get out of the house whenever possible, and taking a furry friend along for our walks would just make the day even better. That being said, without having a set schedule, I have all the time to focus on your fur baby. My daughter is used to having animals around, so this would be nothing new for her and I would just need occasional breaks to attend to her during the day. While I am caring for your animals, your pets schedule will be as close to normal as possible. I be sure to try and provide at least 3hrs of solid daily activity (spread out during the day) to help keep the dogs from feeling cooped up during your work day. Food (if staying in my home) MUST BE PROVIDED by the owner, and I also do not provide treats just to avoid any allergy complications. Care is all pending on owner, I try to keep your pets as close to, or on schedule, as if you weren’t away for the day. This also ensures to help keep stress levels down for your babes while you are away.

Obi had a lot of fun with her dogs (super sweet labs) and was played out the two days she cared for him. She also walked him both days, which I am certain he enjoyed. About: I've had my own dog since I was 3...I could not live without my pets. I have also lost a lot of pets due to old age. I am retired so all my free time goes to my 3 labs and 1 cat. We go for daily walks and the beach ⛱️ I have a big fenced yard ....plenty of room to play. My dogs are very easy to get along with and would love play dates.

Pet owners are often surprised by how their pets react to me "My pet never trust strangers" or "My pet must really like you." I will care for your pets like they were my own.
