“Super nice/living family. After initially meeting them, I was very comfortable leaving my Murphy with them. They have two lovely Beagles and children who obviously love the dogs as well & a perfect indoor & outdoor setting for playing and roaming. They sent me photos and a video which made my day. Nathan even slept downstairs on the couch when my pup seemed worried without having anyone around as it was his first night away from home in several months since a horrific extended stay experience with a facility. I will definitely use them again whenever I need to be away from home!”

About: I have helped take care of friends' and neighbors' dogs/ pets for several years. I am very responsible and dependable. My husband and I have previously fostered dogs as well. I am currently working full time but have some time on the weekends to love on pets! My (human) girls would also love to help your fur babies play until they're worn out! We have a large yard that would provide plenty of room to run around. We do not have a fence so we would not be able to safely care for a dog that would take off.

About: I am currently a college student, and I'm home for the summer. I have had cats in the house since I was 4 years old, so I have a lot of experience with them! I currently have two cats, Curry and Mochi. We adopted them both from Cozy Cat Cottage, which is also where I used to volunteer. My experience owning cats and volunteering for a cat shelter helped foster a love and understanding for cats. I am very patient with them as some cats are more reserved and difficult to socialize, even our own Mochi! I'm happy to spend quality time with your cats because I understand that cats need stimulation especially while their owners are gone. I am also entrusted with regularly taking care of my friend's bird, so I can also watch a variety of animals if needed. Currently, I am not working, so I can drop by anytime! I go back to school on the 15th of August, so my availability will be limited until December. For your cat's safety, I'll make sure to take any special security measures needed. I'll follow any orders of gates needed and make sure to cat-proof anything by making sure everything is where it belongs. From personal experience, Curry enjoys going outside, but he is a runner so I understand the importance of keeping cats indoors or taking them on supervised walks if necessary.

Overall, he's well-behaved, and I've even taught him a simple fist bump trick. My two rats are recent additions to my home, and I researched their needs carefully to ensure their happiness. They live in a spacious cage with room to run and hide. They get daily playtime with me, and despite Bean's partial blindness and shyness, our bond is growing. I have had 7 jack russells over my lifetime, rescues and hospice care. We have a Chihuahua Jack Russell mix who is 1 year old and gets along with everyone. I hike a lot and would love to walk your dog. I can accommodate special needs, meds and special diets. I will always respect your feeding preferences. I have completed all training classes from puppy to obedience and certified therapy dog. I am a bit of a dog whisperer and can probably help you train yours if you have any unwanted behaviors. I am currently trying to start a business of making dog treats! It's been my dream and a passion of mine, to own a business for dogs. I want to be able to help show my love to more dogs, they deserve all the love and attention they can get. I work as a full time day shift nurse, 5 days a week. I do try to keep my calendar update as much as possible. I care for the pets in my clients home, which includes for now drop in visits and walks. So that their routine is never far off for your fur baby as much as possible.

About: I love any type of animal and will provide it with the best care possible. We would go on long walks and play all day! Big, small, medium you name it I will love your dog or cat! I have been around dogs my whole life and would love to care for yours. I am currently a nurse in the area and use Rover when I am away at work so I would love to give back to the community and watch other pups while you are away! I know how difficult it is to find a trustworthy and reliable sitter and always want to treat your pups like my own! I will make sure to treat your home and pet with respect and follow all instructions left to properly care for your fur baby and make sure they get everything they need!
