“Jenna did drop in visits for my mother-in-law‘s two kitties, twice a day, for eight days. She gave medication (a pill) to one of the kitties twice a day. Both cats really loved her, including the one who is normally very reclusive and shy around new people! The photos Jenna sent us each day were not only delightful but reassuring to us, to see that the cats were happy and well cared for! (Jenna has a real knack for photography, too!)”

About: I have always been around dogs but have not found my furever friend yet. I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters and watching dogs for friends and coworkers. Hello! As a teacher, I am available after school around 4pm and all the time on the weekends. I enjoy drop ins, walks, and overnight stays. In clients homes & my own, I ensure that the dog has ample human interaction time. I live in an apartment and prefer to watch animals in their own home but they are welcome in my own. On walks, I make sure the dog is secured before heading outside and always make sure there are photos or videos for the owners.

“I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. She was extremely responsive and would send me pictures and videos all day without me even having to ask. She has a nice big fenced in backyard that Arlo loved running around freely in all day. Each evening I would pick him up he was exhausted from having fun playing all day. (His besty was her dog, Vanilla) 😊 I cannot recommend Katherine enough. She made my experience great and worry free. I went to do an introductory meet and greet. Her house was immaculate, very clean and organized. Hatsuki had printed (let me say it again, she printed a sheet!) a profile of clutch so she can make notes about his needs. Again this was just a meet and greet, she also made a thumb drive with a tag that had clutch’s name. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I currently am on leave from work until the end of June, leaving me home 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! Meaning ultimate snuggle time and plenty of hanging out with the doggos. I have unlimited water available for dogs whenever they need. My backyard has a 4-foot tall chain link fence , perfect for dogs to run around and play in as much as they want. My house is very dog friendly—dogs are allowed on the furniture and in any room they please. While I do have a 2 year old daughter at home, I am very consistent with teaching her to leave the dogs alone , even our own. Dogs should have personal space , and a break when needed. Also, your dog MUST be friendly with young children, I do take my own precautions but having a patient/friendly dog is the start.

I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. About: I have had a deep love for animals my entire life. I’ve always grown up around cats, dogs, rabbits and even reptiles! I also used to raise & show lambs for 4H at the Clark County Fair, so I am used to the routine and responsibilities that come with animals. I have experience working at DogTown where I learned valuable skills on keeping dogs happy and calm during their boarding experience. I know it can be very stressful leaving your animal in someone’s hands, but I’m willing to do everything I can to make sure your pet is well taken care of! 🐾 I work as a part-time EMT (I usually work overnight shifts) and I am a full-time college student, but I have control over which days and times I work. Overall my schedule can be flexible and I am happy to work to ensure your pet is getting the most quality care and attention! Unfortunately, I live in an apartment where animals are not allowed. However, I am more than happy to come to your home for care! While being in a clients home it is my goal to keep it as clean as possible and respect that space! I can also do walking or playtime where the owner prefers to ensure the pet is as close to their normal routine as possible.

About: I have 8 years experience training dogs from puppies to leash reactive dogs. I am comfortable medicating animals and caring for special needs. I saved a client dog recently when I recognized she had eaten one of her toys before coming to stay with me. I rushed her to have emergency surgery and then cared for her after surgery until her parents arrived back from their cruise. I am all about pet care. I am home daily with the exception of a couple varied hours to go out to walk or train dogs. I have 5 fully fenced acres, with a secure fenced backyard just for dogs. My family has 4 dogs of our own, 1 is a livestock guardian who lives outside fulltime(his choice I promise). The dogs and I often go play in the fenced pasture when the horses and chickens are secured. Everyone is always monitored and supervised for safety. Meals are always fed with dogs separated for prevention and safety.

About: I have grown up around dogs over 10 years, specifically golden retrievers but now have a Belgian malinois of my own! I have taken care of friends dogs for weeks at a time, as well as just letting their pups out when needed! I love animals and would love to expose my 1 year old belgian to more dogs as he is very high energy and loves to play! I’m currently working part time in the evenings but am home all day to watch and play with your pups! My husband is home in the evening while I’m working so someone would always be with them. On weekends we are both home and can take them on walks and to a green space in our neighborhood to run. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run. I have a one year old dog to provide company for your dog as well! My dog is crate trained and I can crate other dogs if requested by owner. We allow our fur baby to sleep with us occasionally so your dog is welcome to sleep in our bedroom too!

About: Hi friends! My name is Clara, I am currently attending Cedarville as a sophomore nursing student. I work PRN as CNA at the hospital in Springfield which requires reliability, work ethic and compassion. I have a dog and a cat that live at home as well but not currently with me at college. I previously worked for Rover with my mom while I was in highschool. I have cared for puppies as well as senior dogs and for a variety of other pets with various ages over the years. I am dependable, hard-working, caring and loving. I love spending quality time with all animals whether it is stopping by for a drop in visit, taking a walk or staying at your house as I can't currently board animals while living on campus. I’m currently in nursing school, so my availability varies slightly by day. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have lectures at 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, along with a lab from 1:00–2:15 PM. On Tuesdays, I have labs from 8:30–9:50 AM and 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, as well as a lecture at 2:00 PM. Thursdays include a lecture at 8:00 AM, another from 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, and a final lecture at 2:00 PM. On Fridays, I have clinical from 6:00–11:00 AM (though this is not every week, so I may have additional availability), along with a lab from 12:00–2:50 PM. I’m still very flexible outside of these times and happy to work around your pet’s needs—feel free to reach out! I will intentionally care for and love your pets as if they were my own and I will be sure to follow your instructions and guidelines with the utmost care!
