I was on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Hancock County and fostered over 10 puppies throughout the years. I have also gone through training courses with multiple dogs. She not only puts effort in towards jaxsons training she has even went out of her way to teach us on how we could be doing different/better. Celene also makes sure that jaxson gets the proper food/water/bathroom breaks as he needs. He doesn't come back hungry, needing to potty, or beat up. Penny, celenes dog, is hands down the cutest little thing I've ever seen. When I get there she is happy to greet me at the door with kisses and tail wags. About: Since loosing my boy Copper I thought what better way to get that hole he left in my heart filled . I have lots of love to give if thats what your furry friend needs or lots of space if they prefer that to. My love for our fury friends runs very deep. & i have experience caring for them all! Im very active so there would be no worry on your pet missing a walk or play time. My husky was reactive on a leash so im always careful and hyper focused on my surroundings when on walks or doing anything outside with them. I have a small fenced in area of my yard that goes off my deck, an about an acre of unfenced for leashed strolls ,along with some wooded area that has a small loop around it perfect for sniffs! I also know of some secluded hiking spots for any reactive dogs that need longer walks and space from others. Saftey is most important to me, so im kind of a helicopter mom when it comes to any pet in my care! My husky was on severel medications for seizures and arthritis so I am used to scheduled medication as well. I have a giant garden and live a small homestead life. So I am almost always home except when i work my part time job. I have a small fenced in yard for them to relax in or go potty , along with a small wooded area with a loop for all the sniffs ! My area is safe and quiet as well.

I am available on weekends at ANY TIME for boarding, house sitting or drop-in visits. And during the week I am also available any time after 9am! For any pet they need to be fed, bathed, time to play, let outside to potty and just be a nice companion to them everyday. I’m a pet owner myself so I already do the everyday chores/ needs that are needed for care. It’s been a lifelong routine of mine that I’m accustomed to.

About: Over the past 36 years, I have had 7 dogs (2 that lived to 17 years old and required a lot of care and medication), 1 bird, 1 bunny (which was on hospice when I adopted her) and multiple fish. I was on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Hancock County and fostered over 10 puppies throughout the years. I have also gone through training courses with multiple dogs. I am responsible, reliable, and hard-working. I am looking forward to spending some time with your animals! I am currently not working, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’ve cared for high energy breeds such as GSPs, senior dogs, behaviorally-difficult dogs, and everything in between. I am a graduate student with a rather flexible schedule. Other than a 2-hour obligation on Friday afternoons, I am able to make time for pets when they need it. I do not offer care in my own home but I do provide it in the pet’s home. I find that pets are more comfortable in their own space and often adjust better when going about their routine with someone else if they remain in a familiar environment.
