About: Growing up, I was a total dog lover, but that changed in high school when a friend's three cats completely won me over. I’ve been cat sitting ever since and lived with a roommate's cat for four years. In Summer 2025, I adopted my own cat, Cleopatra, and love being her sole caretaker. About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. I love what I do, but am always trying to incorporate animals into my life. I have a cat and a dog of my own that I love so much. I am 26 and child free so looking to utilize my free time. Prefer to work from your home! My home has a kitty and puppy that are high energy and love their own space. Can do periodic check-ins or stay there overnight/ throughout the day, whatever you are more comfortable with. I live close to furfield so we can have play dates with other dogs as well!
