To the point he’s comfortable with commands although he does not always obey! 🤣 he’s got a very rogue personality. Korin is over a decade old at this point but still in prime condition and health! About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a teenager and I cannot imagine life without at least one. I have seen an uptick in requests from family and neighbors to take care of their furry friends when they are away and am always happy to do so. I am dedicated to making sure that their pets feel as comfortable in my home as they would in their own. I currently work from home the majority of the time and my wife works from home full time. Between the two of us we have enough flexibility to let dogs out in the yard to play or take them on short walks. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own, Smokey. Growing up, we had Pugs, Cocker Spaniels, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, and a Dachshund. I currently have a Border Terrier and a chiweenie at home. They are the lights of my life! My bookings are, at present, open for Dog Walks, drop in visits and dog sitting! I look forward to booking with you. I am currently working part-time, and I have the privilege of creating my own schedule. This allows me to be incredibly flexible with yours! While I prefer early morning and evening walks to mid-day walks, I am extremely open minded. Unfortunately, I am not hosting animals in my own home, as my border terrier has anxiety issues. However, I am happy to come to your home and walk your dog, or dog sit in your home.

About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.

Amber made Scout feel right at home, setting him up on the couch with his favorite blankets and toys when he was too anxious to lay down on his bed or in the bedroom, and she sent us plenty of updates/ pictures that we could show our son when he was missing him. Amber and her husband took him on long walks every day and got him plenty worn out to help him sleep at night, and gave him lots of love and attention which he wouldn't have gotten being boarded at a kennel or having someone just stop in to check on him all week. About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was born. Our family had pets ranging from cats and dogs to pigs and horses. I worked at a family vet clinic that gave me skills with animals and knowledge of when they just aren't feeling right and contacts of who to call. I also have pet sat for friends and family for 8 years. Your pet will become my own when I pet sit. They will be spoiled and loved and I am very good at following directions exactly. I am blessed to have a very flexible schedule and am able to fit pet care in when needed. I myself currently have one cat and dog who I care for and spoil at home. However they have other family members who step up when I am needed elsewhere. I do not offer care in my home as I have a small apartment and pets of my own. However I make sure to build trust and create a safe and loving environment whenever I enter another's home. I make sure to get all the information I can about the pet I will be caring for and bring instructions with me to make sure I follow them exactly. I will do whatever is suggested to help the pet feel comfortable and loved and I have many tricks from experience with rowdy or shy animals to help if no instructions are offered. I have open communication with my families and love to send pictures and updates to help keep minds at ease.
