I work PRN as CNA at the hospital in Springfield which requires reliability, work ethic and compassion. I have a dog and a cat that live at home as well but not currently with me at college. On Fridays, I have clinical from 6:00–11:00 AM (though this is not every week, so I may have additional availability), along with a lab from 12:00–2:50 PM. I do need a week or two notice due to me being enrolled in college courses but I will try to be as flexible as possible! We were nervous to leave him for the first time since adopting him, he’s goes to work with us every day and he rides with us nearly everywhere but our daughters play sports and we have long weekend days away from home. They sent videos of him running around with the other dogs playing and having a blast, which was great to see because he’s a total couch potato at home. When my husband picked him up he acted like he didn’t want to leave which is out of character for Oliver because he’s usually glued to us 24/7! I went to do an introductory meet and greet. Her house was immaculate, very clean and organized. Again this was just a meet and greet, she also made a thumb drive with a tag that had clutch’s name. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I also have a back yard with a lead allowing your dog to run around without being hand held on a leash for every potty break. On Tuesdays, I have labs from 8:30–9:50 AM and 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, as well as a lecture at 2:00 PM. Thursdays include a lecture at 8:00 AM, another from 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, and a final lecture at 2:00 PM. On Fridays, I have clinical from 6:00–11:00 AM (though this is not every week, so I may have additional availability), along with a lab from 12:00–2:50 PM. I’m still very flexible outside of these times and happy to work around your pet’s needs—feel free to reach out! I will intentionally care for and love your pets as if they were my own and I will be sure to follow your instructions and guidelines with the utmost care!

About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I can remember. We had cats growing up and they were the light of my life. Every day I looked forward to coming home and knowing they would be there waiting for me to give them all the love. Starting in high school is when I began to get familiar with dogs as well. Neighbors, friends, and family have all taught me so much and then began relying on me to love and care for their fur babies. Which included anywhere from walking, feeding, grooming, and overall well-being. I've done quite a bit of house sitting recently and have no problem with cleaning when needed as well. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.

I will work with any dog, cat or rodent. I can medicate pets, I’m comfortable with cleaning up after pets. I do work full time.
