“Amber was amazing! We have never left our dog with anyone but family until this stay but since we were out of town for our wedding everyone was going to be gone with us. Amber made Scout feel right at home, setting him up on the couch with his favorite blankets and toys when he was too anxious to lay down on his bed or in the bedroom, and she sent us plenty of updates/ pictures that we could show our son when he was missing him. Amber and her husband took him on long walks every day and got him plenty worn out to help him sleep at night, and gave him lots of love and attention which he wouldn't have gotten being boarded at a kennel or having someone just stop in to check on him all week. About: I have years of experience with doggos! My first bestfriend was a dog I once had. I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and would love to walk or babysit your dog anytime. I do need a week or two notice due to me being enrolled in college courses but I will try to be as flexible as possible! I grew up caring for my 4 dogs at my parents home and two fur nieces who are owned by my brother. My fur nieces would be the white and black husky and brown lab in my pictures. I have been dog sitting her since she was just a pupper. Love her! I am 21 years old and I adopted my first fur daughter a few months ago. She is a collie/dutch Shepard mix and is the biggest sweetheart and LOVES to play with other dog friends! My availability would be Monday and Wednesday nights after 4:30 due to classes and then all weekend all day every day! I live in a cozy but roomy one story apartment with my loving boyfriend and a loving doggo. I love long walks and runs, playing, and cuddles! About: I have a wide range of experience with animals (dogs, cats, horses, rats, rabbits, goats, etc.) I grew up around animals and am currently going through school on the pre-vet track. I have helped some friends and neighbors care for their pets (baths, walks, nail clipping, etc.) I also currently work at petsmart I currently work and go to school. My classes aren’t long and are spaced out throughout the day so I have free time in between classes. I work 4 days a week, usually for 3 hour shifts during the week I have one pet in my home and it’s my border collie Bailey. I work PRN as CNA at the hospital in Springfield which requires reliability, work ethic and compassion. I have a dog and a cat that live at home as well but not currently with me at college. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. About: I’m a dog (and cat!) mom looking for a fun way to keep myself accountable on my health journey! I’m a 41 year old mom to a teenage boy, a 9 year old yorkie mix (Severus), and 8 cats! I’ve been on a journey to better myself for the past year and one thing I make sure I do is get my steps in. About: Hi friends! My name is Clara, I am currently attending Cedarville as a sophomore nursing student. I work PRN as CNA at the hospital in Springfield which requires reliability, work ethic and compassion. I have a dog and a cat that live at home as well but not currently with me at college. I previously worked for Rover with my mom while I was in highschool. I have cared for puppies as well as senior dogs and for a variety of other pets with various ages over the years. I am dependable, hard-working, caring and loving. I love spending quality time with all animals whether it is stopping by for a drop in visit, taking a walk or staying at your house as I can't currently board animals while living on campus. I’m currently in nursing school, so my availability varies slightly by day. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have lectures at 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, along with a lab from 1:00–2:15 PM. On Tuesdays, I have labs from 8:30–9:50 AM and 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, as well as a lecture at 2:00 PM. Thursdays include a lecture at 8:00 AM, another from 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, and a final lecture at 2:00 PM. On Fridays, I have clinical from 6:00–11:00 AM (though this is not every week, so I may have additional availability), along with a lab from 12:00–2:50 PM. I’m still very flexible outside of these times and happy to work around your pet’s needs—feel free to reach out! I will intentionally care for and love your pets as if they were my own and I will be sure to follow your instructions and guidelines with the utmost care!
About: I work in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician assistant. I’m I am a recent graduate with a veterinary technology degree. I have about 5-6 years of experience in the vet med field. I will work with any dog, cat or rodent. I can medicate pets, I’m comfortable with cleaning up after pets. I do work full time. I am willing to do drop ins to where I let the pet out, feed, play with them, and medicate if needed! I am available every other weekend. If there is a specific time during the week needed I am always willing work things out! Pet care is worked into my daily life and career it is something I always knew I wanted to do in life. About: I’ve cared for animals since I was young, I helped mom in the kennel and I also have had my own fur baby for 4 years! I’ve cared for her since she was nine weeks old! Every single day I feed my doggo breakfast and dinner, Make sure she gets to potty throughout the day and also has some play time! I try to bathe her at least once a week and also wash her food/ water bowls every time I do dishes. And I also enjoy taking her on car rides and into pets-mart In my own home we have taught my dog lots of fun tricks but the biggest things we have taught her is to only eat her toys, not actual items, ask to go outside, don’t jump on guests and give kisses. Although personally I don’t mind when a dog jumps on me or is kinda crazy. My dog is a nuthouse with the people she’s most fimiliar with. But whatever you want your dog to learn, I can collaborate with you to put our efforts together for the best outcome of your animal.
