“Kristen did an excellent job, and I highly recommend her. I was a little hesitant at first because of the pricing, but once I realized what was included, it made complete sense. Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”

About: Hi there, my name is Kristen and I have a slight dog obsession. November 2025 started year five of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. For boarding and daycare we are located on 30 acres in Tipp City, with 6 private fully fenced dog parks to choose from. We have 10 kennels, and pups are kenneled during enrichment and overnight with an on-site team member who stays with them. About: I used to work as a dog trainer for a few years and have worked with all breeds of dogs, and all ages! I’ve grown up with cats and dogs - love them to bits! I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats - reading their body language, playing with them, walking them (no matter the size), and I will always give them space if needed. I wouldn’t ever force a pet out of its comfort zone because that can cause “an aggressive” scenario or permanently scare a pet. I love to play tug and fetch with dogs. About: I’ve loved and taken care of animals for as long as I remember! My parents used to call me the animal whisperer and I used to take care of all the neighborhood animals while their families were away growing up. I am constantly around animals and taking care of them. I’m comfortable around any sort of pet and i’m willing to learn how to best take care of your animal! Hers is more of a boarding situation with a separate building and individual kennels with several dogs present. This was intimidating for both of our smaller dogs, especially our rescue, but they calmed after a bit. Angel did put them in a back kennel away from the other dogs which helped.”
About: For three years I walked two leash pulling cocker spaniels. I turned to watching Cesar Milan for tips, soon I had the dogs walking next to me with the leash loose in my hand. Their owner knew when I’d come to walk them, because they would be barking then quit, due to my entrance with no eye contact. As Cesar says dogs sense with their nose, eyes and ears consecutively. The owner made a comment once “oh, Ruthie must be here”. I’m currently working full time. I would be available after 4 pm Monday - Friday. I travel out of town every other weekend for family. It would work better if I could come to your place. I live in a small condo. That way your pet is kept in it’s familiar surroundings.

I then started spending my free time at Sunrise Sanctuary taking care of their rescued livestock. The job that taught me so much was being a dog warden. I learned how to handle emergency calls but also took care of the dogs at the shelter. I work a fun and open schedule so I have more flexibility on dog or cat sitting time frame. My dogs wake me up bright and early at 5am and going to bed around 10pm. So I’m able to check in on dogs within that big time frame. About: I have taken care of and been around animals for as long as I can remember. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to take care of, feed, and play with their pets. I work and I'm a homeschool educator however I have no issues with adjusting my schedule to care for pets and am available to communicate with every day In home dogs sleep in our room unless crated, and eat table scraps when we aren't fast enough, we let the, free roam the house once potty routine is established and that time frame depends on dog. We don't allow dogs on furniture but cover the furniture for animals trained that way to reduce stress on trying to keep them down. In your home, routine is maintained and extra treats given, time outside is always encouraged for high energy and down time is enforced when bad behavior is being modified
About: I grew up working at a farm. We had many dogs, cats, and barn animals as well as guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, birds, and fish. Throughout my life I have shadowed multiple veterinarians, volunteered at rescues, and cared for many other people’s animals and kids! I have attended college for Equestrian Studies too. Caring for animals has always been my greatest passion and I can’t wait to put it to good use by helping you and your animal out when the time calls! Caring for animals is my passions and therefore my full time job. I work a little online from home as well but never when it is taking time away from pet care. Away from home care: In my home I usually have other animals so, if you need care outside your home your pet must be potty trained, vaccinated and good with cats and dogs. We have leads for dogs outside and a large yard. No kennels provided, if you’d like your dog in a kennel, call a boarding facility. Your animal would be staying in a clean and safe bedroom/bathroom area with 24/7 supervision as well as a comfortable bed that is changed after every pet’s stay. They will be taken outside for at least 30 minutes, 4 times a day. You will need to provide food for your pet. In Home Care: If providing in home care for your pet all services are provided from walking and playtime to feeding and training. I also give bathes and brushing. Lots of love is of course always a part of my services as well. The schedule of it is up to you! I can do drop in visits any day of the week but only house sit on the weekend (Fri-Sun). I like to make sure I have plenty of time to spend with my own animals while also serving you. *Care In My Home* If you provide a crate and want me to use it I will but I usually just have your pet hang out with me around the house - it is all pet proof as I have many cats and a dog. If your pet doesn’t like other animals they are welcome to stay in my bedroom as a safe haven. I will be sure to hang out with them lots throughout the day if they are in there. I have a large fenced in backyard and leads for dogs. They are always supervised while outside. I only serve one pet family at a time so your animals won’t be exposed to any other animals other than my own. I do not provide care in my home to cats. *Care In Your Home* I will be with your pet for at least 2 hours at a time twice a day in addition to the evening and morning (10pm-10am) full time. I can bathe, brush, train, walk, and give lots of love at no extra charge!
About: I have been a dog lover for much of my life! Growing up we had cats and smaller breed dogs. I begged my parents to allow me to watch our neighbors' dogs when they left town, and I was the go-to caretaker of our family's pets. As an adult, I have cared for 3 dogs of my own and currently we have 2 larger breed dogs. We adopted all of our dogs as puppies so I understand the adorable puppy moments, as well as the moments where puppies can be extra work. I've owned dogs into their senior years and how there can be limitation considerations and potentially and care required for health needs that come with age. I'm currently working part-time and manage a small business with my husband. Both are relatively flexible, especially if planned more than 1 week prior. Generally afternoons (after 1pm) are flexible. With advance planning, I can be available earlier in the day too. I can visit your home to care for your pets. If you have dogs and want me to provide exercise (walk or backyard play session), I can do so based on your preference. If you would like, I can also check on things inside such as water/food, or any other requested services (that I am able to provide).

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, ranging from 10+ cats, little shi tzus and Pomeranians, and up to a 130+ lb Rottweiler! I love animals of all sorts, and caring for them is my true passion. “Kristen did an excellent job, and I highly recommend her. I was a little hesitant at first because of the pricing, but once I realized what was included, it made complete sense. Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”
