Unfortunately, my work schedule does not align with the love and care a pet would need full time right now which is why this is perfect for us all! I will only provide boarding for a single pet unless they come from the same family home so they will have all of my attention! I love walks so if your pup does too then it’s a perfect match! You won’t need to worry about your pet on vacation because I promise they will be vacationing themselves! On the days of availability I will be home full time with all attention available to your pet! When I was 10, our first family dog showed up under the Christmas tree and I was hooked. There have been few times in my life where I haven't had a dog to take care of. I've worked in a vet office, an animal rescue, and have helped take care of dogs for friends and family when they go out of town. I currently work part-time so I have the flexibility to provide your furbaby with the best care. Daily walks and play time are already built into our daily routine and your pup can join in on the fun! I have a very large fenced in yard and live on a dead end road so traffic is minimal around our home. Our two dogs are very friendly and love to have visits from other dog friends. Our home is large enough that a separate space can be created for your pup if they feel overwhelmed or just need some quiet time. A crate can also be utilized if needed.

If left out of a kennel, I wait til there is a calm within and then push open the door. I don't like to do a simple let in and out, as I like to throw sticks or tennis balls for at least a few runs. If outside play isn't possible or dog isn't really into play time, a few moments for cuddles is in the schedule. Refresh and clean water bowls, quick pick-up of animal's eating area if needed. I only provide care to one pet at a time (unless they are coming from the same household) so they will be very spoiled! I love walks so if your pet does too, we are a perfect match! I have a fenced in yard and do not have any animals in the house. Your dog will have access to the inside and outside. They do need to be trained but I do also keep in mind that accidents happen.

That means at times, my husband will be working on our house renovations for a couple hours in the evenings. We renovating slowly and will keep boarding dogs in mind when doing so. There will be times where drywall is being replaced, new flooring is being laid, and renovations will result in a louder home environment. We work as fast as our budget allows so it's not a daily occurrence. If you have any questions or concerns, I'll be happy to address them during out meet and greet. *We our whole backyard fenced in with a doggy pool, toys and a cement pad to sunbathe on. *Our village is walkable so short walks are available if requested. *Non-reactive dogs can be bathed for an additional service fee. (All dogs will be spot cleaned if muddy conditions cause dirty paws and bellies.) *Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and cats. Some growling and barking is normal during the first couple stays but if either of our pets just don't seem to mesh well, I will suggest alternative care for the safety of our pets. *Unaltered males and females are allowed. If females are in heat, please provide a diaper with pads as well. *Your pets are at home with us which means, they're welcome on our furniture. I'm currently working from home building my business. Examples: Sleeping in kennel, not jumping on furniture, etc. *I'm vet trained in administering oral, topical, and vaccinations when needed. Example: Diabetic Insulin Shots. *If your pet has storm anxiety, we will camp out in the bathroom with soothing music until the storm passes. *I will not leave dogs unsupervised while playing outside, or with other pets.
