About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently own a 7 year old shepherd lab mix and a rescue Yorkie mix (age unknown but at least 5 years old). I grew up with dogs and have experience with many breeds and many mixed breeds. I have experience with oral medications and special needs as well. I live on a small hobby farm and own a horse, 2 mischevious goats, a couple kitties and some chickens along with my 2 rescue dogs. About: UPDATES! Due to my Husbands career change, I will be the main person that will be caring for your animals. He will help if needed or if any dogs come to our home. My husband and I have a lifelong experience with dogs. We both grew up with dogs. I had a Golden Retriever and he had a Labrador Retriever. We have experience with all different types of pups! We are a team and work together to love and care for every dog we care for. We have dedicated ourselves to learning all about dogs, their social behaviors, and how to keep them happy and healthy. About: Growing up I have always cared for our family pets. Today I have 3 rescue dogs of my own. My pups are apart of my family. I volunteer to transport dogs to a safe homes. As a psychology major, I’ve trained my own dogs using positive reinforcement and classical conditioning (Pavlov’s principles), focusing on consistency, trust, and communication rather than punishment. Because of this approach, my dogs were well-mannered, confident, and happy: they never chewed household items, had house accidents, or developed anxiety-based behaviors. I believe great pet care is about more than supervision—it’s about guiding behavior with patience, encouragement, and love! I work a couple hours during the day and take care of my two kids (3 and 6) at the house. I often have online classes so there’s always something to do for me at home! My kids miss having our dog, Big Boy, around to pet and snuggle. He was 16 when he passed away.😥 We have a lot of love to give and miss having a dog! I am a non-smoker with a clean house. I have white carpet😂 but have a handy carpet cleaner in case your pet has an accident😜 I also have multiple dog leashes and couplers so can walk three dogs at a time. I have carpeted stairs- which is easier for older pups. I do have large crates if your pup needs to be crated (unless they are potty trained -then that would not be necessary). Dogs are allowed on my couches. I have lots of cozy blankets! It’s a quiet end of street neighborhood. Dogs are all “puppies” to me and I love them!

Duke is a shy guy and had never been boarded or stayed with a sitter so I was a little worried about how he would do. He did great and Dana kept me updated the entire weekend.”

She is extremely accommodating and understanding. Our 2 pups have a number of quirks, but Ellen worked with them and gave them a home away from home. She sent multiple pictures a day and some videos, along with an update of the daily activities. We will absolutely be using Ellen if we go away and need a sitter. I cannot speak any higher of Ellen. “Leslie watched our 8yr old Golden Retriever in her home for the weekend. Our experience was absolutely outstanding! She has the perfect fenced in backyard for your dog to roam. She goes over how to care for your dog by sending a Q & A of your dog needs. She makes sure each dog is up to date on all shots and vaccinations and is able to administer medications if needed. The introduction to her home was just as fabulous! She has a meet and greet with the whole family and her adorable Golden, Shiloh. She takes every necessary step to ensure not only your fur baby is safe but is safe to have in her home. Our Golden even slept next to their bed at night because of her separation anxiety,she truly treats your pet as her own! I will be using her services again and will recommend her to anyone who would like to have their pet loved and cared for while you are away.”
