“Andrew is wonderful! My Bri was so well taken care of, she almost didn't want to go home. Andrew provides a wonderful home and family environment. Clean, dogs play openly and the videos and pictures show them all having fun and even playing with the kids who adore having dogs around. On a personal note, anyone who fosters a blind and deaf dog shows his love fir animals (BTW, the blind dogs played as much as t h e rest of them). This is not a sitter, the dogs feel at home. Thank you so much.”

“Lauren took the best of care of Teddy and really made it comfortable for us to leave him with her. Definitely would recommend and will be a repeat customer.”

“Bethany and her family were great! We felt comfortable leaving our dog in their hands. They are clearly animal lovers and sweet people. We would definitely trust leaving Benson with them again :)”

“My dog had a fantastic time with Hasber. He sent lots of pictures and updates. He was also very flexible when I asked to extend the stay on short notice. She came home tired, which is not easy for an aussie!”

“Cindy was great with my pup Sage! She consistently sent me updates to let me know how Sage was doing, as well as lots of pics. I felt at ease while away knowing that Sage was in good hands. I will definitely use Cindy in the future and highly recommend her for boarding services!”

“Lauren and her family were wonderful with our two dogs. She was very communicative and kept us updated while we were on vacation. We enjoyed all the photos with the updates. I especially appreciate the care she took when their arthritis was acting up. We felt comfortable with the dogs in her care and their additional medical needs (medication).”

“Kirah and Mitch were amazing with Nash! They made sure to send videos and updates every day which we truly appreciate. We can tell our boy was so loved there and had so much fun with their dogs since he’s been sleeping nonstop since he has gotten home. We will for sure be using them in the future!”

“Blue has been watched by Dawn and Robert since he was about 9 months old, he is now 2 and still LOVES going to their house. He loves all the attention he gets from the grandkids, and the huge backyard of course! I know this family loves blue like their own 🥰”

“Great communication and provided regular updates. Oreo seemed very happy & relaxed upon pickup after the stay. Would definitely book with Amber again in the future.”

“Amy and her family are amazing with our boy kitty Jade. He was recently diagnosed with a stress disorder but with her updates we knew he was as happy and relaxed as could be. He’s so loved and well cared for by them that we know he’s in the safest hands he could be while we’re away. ❤️”

“Michelle and Nicholas were SO responsive and took great care of Bru! Bru enjoyed her time spent with their dog and family. We were provided with a daily update along with pictures. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience with them!”

About: My sweet beagle passed away this summer, and while I’m not ready to bring home another dog yet, I still deeply love pups. So here I am on Rover, hoping to scratch that dog-itch while caring for others. I’m new to the platform, but not new to loving and caring for dogs. I work from home, so your pup gets company and attention all day. I’m active and enjoy walking, live close to a big park, and have a yard right at my apartment for easy outdoor time. I’m a naturally clear, proactive communicator—you’ll get updates and photos without having to ask. I’m responsible, easygoing, and just want to spend my time around dogs. I’d love to take great care of yours! Since I work from home, dogs I care for get plenty of company throughout the day—walks, playtime, and check-ins built right into my normal routine. Mornings usually start with a walk (we’re close to a big park, so there’s plenty of room to roam), with more potty breaks and playtime spaced through the day depending on your pup’s needs. I’m easy to reach and happy to send updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing. I only care for one dog (or one family’s dogs) at a time. I’m not trying to build a pet boarding business, just looking for some side income and to get pup time, so your dog (or dogs, if you have a pair) gets my full attention. My apartment isn’t huge, but it’s clean, calm, and relaxing, and I’m on the first floor right by the door (easy in and out access). I don’t have kids, so it’s a quiet, low-chaos environment. I spent 11 years as an elementary school teacher, so caring for others (kids, families, etc.) is something I know how to do well. I’m also an aunt to 15 nieces and nephews, so I’m used to keeping little ones (two- and four-legged) safe, happy, and looked after. My own dog actually came to me when my brother needed to rehome him, so being a compassionate, reliable caretaker is just who I am.
“Tom was great with Clyde! This was only a one night boarding, but Tom sent plenty of pictures and a video. I will definitely be using Tom again for a one nighter or a longer boarding of Clyde.”

About: I've been a dog owner and animal lover my entire life, giving me firsthand experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a current pug and cat parent, I understand the importance of providing pets with a safe, loving, and reliable environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and am committed to ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits well into my current schedule. I work a fulltime professional position during the weekdays, which allows me to provide pet care services during evenings, weekends, and select weekdays depending on the pet's needs. I'm organized, reliable, and committed to ensuring pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. We live in a community with walking paths and a couple of ponds that we enjoy walking to with our pups. I will be happy to walk yours through the neighborhood as well. As a lifelong dog owner and current pug and cat parent, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as a member of my own family.

“Our dog Apollo has been staying with Liz Marie and her family every time we’ve traveled for the past year or so, including a recent 3 week trip. Having peace of mind that he was being taken care of by people who love him while we were oceans away meant so much to us, and we love getting regular updates and photos. We especially appreciate Liz Marie’s responsiveness and flexibility with pick up and drop off times and her dedication with the various medications and creams Apollo has needed. Thank you again for welcoming Apollo into your family!”

“Our dog Max, had such an amazing time with Sorillian and her family! We have tried boarding companies and other options and never felt at ease leaving our dog for extended periods of time. My wife and I traveled to Italy for a week and had limited cell service and we felt at ease and comforted that Max was given all the love and attention he needed. With daily photo updates and great communication we never had a worry in the world. They have an enclosed backyard and extremely friendly dogs that allowed plenty of time for play. We would highly recommend their service and see ourselves using them again!”

“Ellen was phenomenal with both of our dogs. We got continuous updates and pictures. Very accommodating to our schedule. Our dogs loved her fenced in yard and Ellen. I would highly recommend and will be using her in the further. Can’t thank you enough!”
“Malerie and Blake took great care of our pup Carl while we were out of town for an overnight trip. We got pictures and plenty of check-ins, and he seemed super happy when we picked him up. Very flexible and easy to communicate with, which we appreciate a lot! Would definitely choose them again. Thank you!”

“So grateful I found Beth! Even on short notice, she suggested a Meet & Greet to make sure she understood all instructions, where items were placed, etc. for my cats' drop-in visits. Sent Rover Cards with updates and pictures. Even my cat who is timid of new people came out from hiding during the visits. Will definitely book again!”

“Shelby was absolutely fantastic!!! She took amazing care of our two kittens and our home while we were away on vacation for the week. Shelby was so easy to communicate with and sent us daily updates and pictures. She also left our home exactly how we left it and helped bring in mail and packages throughout the week. Our babies were well cared for and we will absolutely be using her again!”

About: I have don’t cat sitting for many years for family and friends. I am not able to own cats of my own as my dog does not enjoy their company (the one thing we disagree on) but I have always enjoyed spending time with the cats in my life via others. I am happy to clean litter boxes, as well as bring a book and offer a calm presence for any cats who need that extra care. I am a remote worker and am able to work from your home during the day as long as there is wifi.

“Nicole is an excellent caring host. She has a wonderful large grassy backyard with a big tree providing shade and has a pack of nice regulars that are all easygoing . Overall it was an excellent experience for Cookie.”

“We were initially apprehensive about hiring someone to take care of our beloved Shih Tzu-Yorkshire terrier mix, Nikko. However, Cindy’s exceptional service quickly put our worries to rest. She went above and beyond in every aspect of her care. Nikko had a fantastic time at Cindy’s daycare and even made some new doggie friends. Cindy kept us updated throughout the entire process, sending pictures and providing detailed updates on Nikko’s activities and well-being. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Nikko and his happiness. We are incredibly grateful to have found Cindy and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring doggy daycare provider. Thank you, Cindy, for taking such wonderful care of Nikko!”

“This was the first time for our Richmond! Lauren is super communicative and just getting pictures of Richmond put us at ease. We could tell he enjoyed himself. So awesome!”

“Thank you, he definitely slept on the way back. The pictures were awesome and as a trainer and fellow rover sitter I'm super jealous of her space. She was friendly and answered all my questions and was attentive. I have a new puppy that I would like to get socialized more mostly with different places, noises and ppl ,the dogs are a plus.”

About: I have been watching since I was 20 years old. I watched friends dogs, siblings dogs and I used to have a Jack Russell beagle mix. His name was Milo. I work Monday through Friday, but I drove a truck. I’m on the road all day so I have the ability to come home. Check on the animals play with them. Feed them walk them throughout the day. I usually get off at 4 PM. No matter if I’m in some ways home or the animals are at my house I love to go out for walks with dogs and play with pets in general pet them. Let them sit on my life and just spend time with them so they never feel lonely.
“I was so pleased with the services provided by Amber while watching my little one. She interacted with her wonderfully and gave her lots and lots of attention. Amber kept me updated with pictures and messages and I feel truly comfortable with leaving my dog with her, and I look forward to the next opportunity.”

“Alec and Aishu, and their lovely dog Winnie, looked after my girl Nova beautifully. She can be a little skittish at first in unfamiliar situations, but she soon settled down and relaxed! She had an amazing time exploring, going for a long walk and playing with her new pal. I appreciated that photos were sent throughout the day.”

“I booked day care for my daughter's dog Gunner for the entire day on 4/4. I met with Kathryn and Teddy a few days before leaving him at her house and felt good about the upcoming visit afterwards. Kathryn sent me multiple photos during the day which I truly appreciated. It was great to be able to leave him somewhere I felt would allow him to be less anxious as Kathryn let me bring his pet bed and pillow which he uses regularly at home. He also has multiple small feedings through the day which she gave him. The fenced in yard she has is huge! I'm grateful to have a place I can take Gunner where I will feel I can take care of any business at hand with no worries about leaving him.”

“Thank you for taking care of our pup and the daily updates. Chad and Cara were great communicating with us regarding Buddys stay and meeting his daily medication needs. Seemed like they had an easier time/merhod of giving Buddy his med than we did. Could not be thankful enough!!”
“Naomi was an amazing dog sitter for our puppy, Alexis. We met her ahead of our initial booking for her to get to know our dog and for our dog to feel comfortable around her place and with her lovely puppies. Everything went well and she took care of Alexis for a day. She kept sending lovely pictures and videos of Alexis playing with her and the dogs. That gave us peace that she was having a good time. We will definitely use her services again. Highly recommend her.”

About: I provide dedicated, attentive care tailored to your pet's unique personality and routine. Having spent years caring for a wide variety of animals for friends and family, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s daily drop-ins, feeding, playtime, or giving your pet extra love and attention while you are away, I prioritize their safety, happiness, and comfort. I am highly dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to giving you complete peace of mind while you're out. I have excellent availability throughout the summer and am open to caring for your pets seven days a week! My schedule is highly flexible Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Mondays and Thursdays, I look after my two young grandchildren, which means I will be hanging out at home with them. If your pet loves a lively, family-friendly environment, they will fit right in on those days; otherwise, I can easily tailor my focus to match their preferred routine! Your pet's safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a spacious fenced-in backyard perfect for safe outdoor playtime and bathroom breaks. Your furry family member will have plenty of company here, as I have two friendly dogs and a welcoming cat who are all completely accustomed to sharing their space with new guest dogs. Whether they want to run laps in the yard, socialize with my pets, or just find a cozy spot to relax, my home is a secure and loving environment.

About: Hi! I am a pet owner and enthusiast. Since I am a professor, I work from home and have a lot of free time in summers and holidays to hang out with your wonderful dog. Additionally, my husband works from home so your pooch will never be alone and will have frequent walks around the many green spaces in Franklinton. Our favorite is the river. I love getting to know a pet’s wants, anticipate their anxieties, and most importantly play! My work requires me to be on-site part time, so I am quite flexible for overnight stays, extra long walks, and boarding at my place with my sheltie Flora. I have a two bedroom apartment with my sweet, spayed sheltie Flora who loves to play and take naps. I am quite active so I would be happy to take your dog on long epic walks.
“Thank you so much, Katie!!! You were our first puppy care experience and I’m so grateful for how wonderful you are. Bluebell had so much fun and was so well cared for.”

“Samantha did amazing with my (very energetic and easily distracted) boy. I knew from her meet and greet that she was very understanding and kind. My dog loved her immediately and I’ll definitely book with her again.”

“Vanessa is such an incredible support. She thinks quick and stays in control. We have a reactive dog and she always provides a safe and supportive environment.”

“This is our second time booking with Emma, and we'll happily book with her again in the future. We had good communication, the walks were for the agreed upon amount of time, and we always came home to a happy dog!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker! Maya took care of our two dogs twice a day for more than a week while we were out of town. To our relief, she accepted the job on very short notice and was absolutely spectacular. Our dogs loved her instantly and looked forward to her visits. Every picture she sent showed two happy, smiling pups. They were relaxed and content when we got home, and thanks to Maya, the girls didn’t have a single accident in the house! Maya is kind, gentle, dependable, and truly takes the time to understand each dog’s individual personality, likes, and dislikes. We are so grateful to her and will definitely use her again. We highly recommend Maya to any pet parent!”

I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and following each pet’s individual routine. I know every pet has their own personality, so I take the time to learn what makes them comfortable — whether that means lots of play and attention or giving a shy pet time to warm up to me. I’m also happy to send plenty of pictures and updates during visits so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing! I have a flexible weekly schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care! I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. About: I have years of experience caring for my own dogs, as well as the pets of friends and family. I fostered for a local rescue group for 5 years and also worked for 2 years as a veterinary assistant, where I gained experience caring for dogs with all sorts of medical and behavioral needs. I have fostered many different types of dogs of different energy levels and sizes. My personal dog is a Jack Russell mix whom I adopted through Franklin County. I am also experienced in giving various types of medications and am willing to work with special needs dogs. I also have a bearded dragon, two rats, a tarantula and some other invertebrates, so if you have any unique pets you need help caring for, let me know! I have a fully remote job that has flexible hours. I work a typical Monday-Friday 8-4 schedule, however I am able to work from your home if needed as long as there is wifi and a place for me to set down my laptop. On weekends, I am happy to take your pets around to a local park, a pet store, or anything else that may help them feel pampered and happy. I have my own car so can arrive and leave at my leisure. I am happy to bring a book or a crochet project to your house and hang out with your pet if they would prefer just knowing someone is around, and I can also take them on walks and help wear them out so they are ready to relax with you after the work day is done.
About: I currently manage a pet care boarding and daycare facility, so taking care of animals is a big part of my everyday life. I’ve worked with all kinds of animals, from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior pets who need a little extra attention and care. I’m comfortable giving medications (oral and diabetic injections), following detailed routines, and getting to know each pet’s individual personality. Working in pet care has taught me how important it is to pay attention to the little things. I’m used to noticing when a pet is acting differently, figuring out what they need, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I also know how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with pictures and messages so they know how their pets are doing. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some extra playtime, meds, or just someone to hang out with them, I’m happy to give them the same patience and attention I’d want someone to give my own pets! :) I currently work at a pet care facility, so caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. Outside of my shifts, I’m available to provide pet sitting and drop-in visits, which allows me to stay flexible while continuing to do something I love. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, playtime, and medication instructions exactly as provided, and I make sure to give extra attention to their favorite spots and habits—whether that’s a window perch, a certain toy, or a bedtime routine. I keep the home tidy, refresh food and water regularly, and make sure the litter box (or yard for dogs) is clean and comfortable. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel connected while they’re away.
“We could tell when we first met Nicole, Dexter would be just fine. She let us know how he done on their walk and even stayed around with him for a while afterwards. We will definitely contact Nicole again when we need some one to help with Dexter.”

About: I love dogs! I’ve always loved them. When i got my first dog at 8 I was terrified. I would scream and jump on the toilet. She wasn’t even the size of my backpack lol. As the years went on I grew not only a pet but a sister! She was there for me even when i didn’t think i needed her. I want to give your pet the same love I gave to her! Right now i have a mini golden doodle. She is a very special dog lol. She gets on my nerves but i wouldn’t trade her for anything. She’s always doing different things to keep me on my toes. I would make sure that your dog is properly cared for. Whether that is playing fetch with them or taking them for a walk. I live in an apartment that has a huge field. They will get the proper exercise for sure. I love to run with them.

About: I’ve been walking with another app, and I absolutely love it! I have a few regular clients I see, but I would love to add a few more fur babies to my daily agenda :) I’m currently saving for my wedding, and I’m a stay at home mom, so every dollar is greatly appreciated! :) I promise your babies are in great hands. I’m currently a stay at home, with more than enough time on my hands! Honestly taking care of the fur babies brings me so much joy, while I can still enjoy the freedoms of not having a “9-5” job. I’m very thankful for each and every opportunity’ The most safe!!! I’m a mom and I have eyes like a hawk! They are in great hands. I truly take a lot of pride in the work that I do, and I know each and every fur baby is irreplaceable and I treat them as such :)

About: I am the owner of a Frenchie named Frankie. Before I got Frankie, I joined rover to get my pup fill in. Now, I do it so Frankie has someone to play with! I’ve also previously used Rover with Frankie when I traveled so I know how important a trustworthy and loving sitter is. My house that has a fenced in yard so there is plenty of space available for your pup! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me! I’m currently working from home as well, so my availability is pretty open and I have lots of time to spend with your pet. Frankie and I look forward to seeing you soon! I have been working from home since the beginning of COVID so I am pretty available. Occasionally I will travel and will be unavailable, but I will be very upfront about my plans. I keep a close eye on the pups, even though I have a fenced in yard. As a frenchie owner, I am always cautious with overheating and any signs of medical issues. I typically only accept one booking at a time for safety reasons, unless it is with one of my regular clients. However, if there were to be overlap, I contact both owners to ensure they are comfortable with it prior to accepting the booking.

I currently volunteer at Franklin County Animal Shelter and have facilitated many adoptions and dog rehabs in my own home. I am experienced with puppies and senior animals. I have a 1yr old Pomeranian named Bruno who loves when we have other fur babies come and visit. I am currently home full time, so I am available to give all of the time and attention needed for your fur baby. Drop off can be as early as needed. “Kirah and Mitch were amazing with Nash! They made sure to send videos and updates every day which we truly appreciate. We can tell our boy was so loved there and had so much fun with their dogs since he’s been sleeping nonstop since he has gotten home. We will for sure be using them in the future!”

Thank you!”

“Alexandria did an excellent job with my dog, Pluto! She was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable keeping him! I absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter!”

“Kathryn took great care of my dog! She provided daily updates and pics. And went above and beyond by getting him an outfit to keep him warm during some random low temp days! Highly recommend!”

“Stockton had such a great time with Maolin, and he has major separation issues. She made him feel comfortable instantly and took him on a lot of awesome adventures! Would definitely book again!”

“Mary was very friendly and loves all animals. She sent daily updates and included pictures. Thanks for taking such great care of our dog!! Would definitely recommend!”

“Beth is great with Ireland while I’m at work! She is easy to get ahold of and sends pictures and video updates of my boy Ireland. I know when I drop him off that he is happy and in great hands.”
“She was great! Took awesome care of our dogs despite one of them having severe separation anxiety! Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”
