When we picked Martin up you could tell he had so much fun with his new friends, and was very comfortable with Caitlin and her home. Caitlin kept us updated on how Martin was doing and sent pictures, which we looked forward to seeing when we were away from him. We have had other dog sitters and quickly made the decision that our dog would not return to thier home, but that was not the case with Caitlin and her husband. About: I've had a house full of pets since I was born. We always had at least 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 turtles, and other pets in the house. Chance was my main pet (pitbull) who I personally trained and took care of from the age of 10 until I left for college. I now have a chihuahua named Taako and a fluffy cat named Magnus that I take care of. I've also helped watch cats and dogs of family and friends. I also spend my free time volunteering at Lake Humane Society. I have experience in reading cat temperment (don't want to get bit in a shelter!) and training dogs. I work full time 9-5 during the week from home but I can help during a lunch break, after work any time, or on weekends! I will work to whatever your comfort level is for your pets! My chihuahua is distrustful of strangers so I entirely understand if your animals need some time to warm up to me.

I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

About: I am over the top when it comes to animals. I typically go above and beyond in play and in care. I love to groom them, go hiking or on extended walks and cuddle! I am currently a nursing student who is trying to make extra money so I can stop working during clinicals. Also I have a small child that I could always use extra money for! In my home pets will be in a shared space with toys and activities. I will walk pets every 4-6 hours and will groom both cats and dogs if i see fit (not full groom but wipe eyes, paws, etc) I also enjoy going to the park so if possible i would love to take them to a park near your home or my own

About: My family has had dogs since before I was born! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and know how to take care of fur babies of all ages :) Almost four years ago I adopted my first cat. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

Vacation sitting, long weekends, holidays, etc. I will follow your guidelines and exact instructions for your pet. Dog walks require a leash or I can play with your dog in your fenced in yard. I have open availability and I am able to visit anytime of the day. I can also come multiple times a day if needed! Please contact me if you have questions. I can safely care for your pets in their own environment. Whether its playing in your fenced in yard or if your pet requires a leash, every step will be taken to keep your pet safe.
About: I have always have tiny little mutts running around since I was little and my love for animals has grown tremendously into adult hood! I love all animals in any size. My experience comes from taking care of my own pets as well as family, friends, and neighbors! I graduated Highschool early and working part time, my job is very flexible and knows that my pet care comes first! Im pretty available on most days of the week I have a gated back yard, with 3 doggies that are loving. They have their own “house” and I am easily able to put them in or out!

“If you love your dog like they were your own child, then book Tonia! I’d give Tonia six stars if I could. Her patience and kindness with humans such as I, and animals like my dog, were superb! She knows that dogs are dogs and is understanding when they behave as such. My dog is not comfortable in kennels, when other sitters have that as a norm, she lets them hang out as close to her as they want, all the time. She treated my dog (my kid) like her own and she appreciates the familial love my dog and I share.”

So much so I don’t think she wants to leave half the time I pick her up! They also do a great job keeping her active and she comes home barely able to keep her eyes open.
