When Martin first arrived at Caitlin’s home he had no desire to stay, but Caitlin’s husband was very patient with him and even allowed him to interact with their dog to make Martin feel comfortable before we left. When we picked Martin up you could tell he had so much fun with his new friends, and was very comfortable with Caitlin and her home. Caitlin kept us updated on how Martin was doing and sent pictures, which we looked forward to seeing when we were away from him. We have had other dog sitters and quickly made the decision that our dog would not return to thier home, but that was not the case with Caitlin and her husband. About: I've had a house full of pets since I was born. We always had at least 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 turtles, and other pets in the house. Chance was my main pet (pitbull) who I personally trained and took care of from the age of 10 until I left for college. I now have a chihuahua named Taako and a fluffy cat named Magnus that I take care of. I've also helped watch cats and dogs of family and friends. I also spend my free time volunteering at Lake Humane Society. I have experience in reading cat temperment (don't want to get bit in a shelter!) and training dogs. About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. As of August 2026, I finished nursing school and will be doing Rover full-time until I take my NCLEX test to officially become a licensed nurse! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages ranging from puppies to seniors. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Since graduating college, my schedule is quite literally free 24/7! As mentioned before, Rover will be my full-time job until I get to take my NCLEX and become a licensed nurse. This means your dog will have my full attention and rarely, if at all, be left alone! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

I have a lot of personal experience with animals from pets to exotics, so we would love to host your loved one. I am fully available. I can also add on weekend activities such as a local hike or taking them to a prepaid grooming appointment for an additional fee. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

About: I am over the top when it comes to animals. I typically go above and beyond in play and in care. I love to groom them, go hiking or on extended walks and cuddle! I am currently a nursing student who is trying to make extra money so I can stop working during clinicals. Also I have a small child that I could always use extra money for! About: For my entire life, I have grown up with a dog in my family home. I have experienced first hand how to care for a 2 month old puppy and a 13 year old senior dog. Since the age of 16, I have also watched family friends dogs, either doing overnight stays or routinely check-ins with the dogs. As a graduate student, I have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On those days, your pup may be home for a few hours while I’m in class, but I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks before I leave and as soon as I return. Outside of my class schedule, I have a flexible routine and spend most of my time at home, so I’ll be able to provide lots of companionship, playtime, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. About: I’ve helped out with family pets my entire life (dogs, cats fish, guinea pigs, birds, rats) but in my early 20’s rescued a Doberman/blue heeler mix on my own. He is high anxiety and medicated twice daily for epileptic seizures, so medicine is also something I’m comfortable with. I also now have a Maine coon cat who is 10, a 3 yr old shepherd, cane corso, mastiff mix with 3 paws and a 3 yr old golden/ Pyrenees mix. I work daytime hours MWF, so I’m available for drop ins before and/or after work on those days. On T/TH, I’m available for drop ins or walks during the morning and afternoons :) For the care and safety of both the clients pets and my own, I would prefer to care for clients pets in their own homes.
About: My family has had dogs since before I was born! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and know how to take care of fur babies of all ages :) Almost four years ago I adopted my first cat. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been told I have a “way with animals.” I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs before. Whether it’s a tiny tea cup dog or a large lab with more energy that they can contain, I’ve seen it all. I’m currently a senior in high school and play club volleyball. My dogs are my "children/babies". I treat all dogs as individuals the same as I do people each one is unique and different. I love to have cuddle time with my Bichon and play time with my Husky. I trained my first Bichon ( who passed away at age 17 in ?Feb of 2022) to be a therapy dog and he was a certified and working. He worked for Hospice of Cincinnati and Drake Center. I am currently working with Husky with her training so she can eventually become a therapy dog. I also love camping with my dogs as well as going for walks at the park with them and taking them for some doggie play time at a dog park. I now have a Bichon puppy who loves all dogs big and small I am hoping to eventually make her a therapy dog. I am home full time to give your pup all the love and spoiling they can want. I live with my om and brother so tehri sir always somebody home. Your fur baby will have plenty of room in my large fenced in yard to run and play. I have 2 friendly dogs of my own who they can run and play with.

About: I have always have tiny little mutts running around since I was little and my love for animals has grown tremendously into adult hood! I love all animals in any size. My experience comes from taking care of my own pets as well as family, friends, and neighbors! I graduated Highschool early and working part time, my job is very flexible and knows that my pet care comes first! Im pretty available on most days of the week I have a gated back yard, with 3 doggies that are loving. They have their own “house” and I am easily able to put them in or out!

About: I have over 15 years of hands-on experience with dogs and currently live with four large working dogs, (German Shepherds). I operate a Kennel, where I work with dogs through training and boarding, and I am actively involved in dog sports and AKC and UKC conformation. My experience is primarily with working breeds, including high-drive and energetic dogs, but I have worked with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and personalities. I enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and adjusting their care accordingly. Some dogs thrive on activity and training, while others need more time to settle in and feel comfortable. Dogs are a significant part of my everyday life, so caring for them is not something I have to fit around my lifestyle. It is simply part of it. I work a hybrid job, so my daytime schedule varies depending on which days I am working from home or in the office. Regardless of my work schedule, my early mornings and evenings are dedicated to the dogs and I spend multiple hours on my property interacting with them. A typical day includes outdoor time, exercise, individual attention, play, training or enrichment, and periods of quiet rest. I use a structured crate-and-rotate routine so that each dog gets intentional time out of their crate rather than simply being left loose for the sake of being "out." This structure allows me to give each dog meaningful one-on-one time while also making sure they have adequate opportunities to rest. I adjust the amount and type of activity based on the individual dog's age, energy level, and personality. I operate a successful dog training and board-and-train business outside of Rover, giving me extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and needs. This includes puppies, seniors, high-drive working dogs, and dogs requiring additional structure or individualized care. My home is located on a fenced property with space for supervised outdoor time and enrichment. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and Rover dogs are kept separate from my personal dogs to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. As a professional dog trainer, I am experienced in canine behavior, safe handling practices, and recognizing changes in a dog’s health or behavior. I keep a canine first aid kit readily available and take a proactive approach to supervision, cleanliness, and emergency preparedness.
