“Karen was amazing!! We were traveling in from out-of-town and were very nervous about leaving our pug, Curtis, with a stranger for the first time since we got him a few months ago. Karen was very knowledgeable, and Curtis seemed drawn to her right away, which pretty quickly helped to put us more at ease. Karen was great with Curtis and sent us several fun and cute updates throughout the day about snuggling, playing piano for him, and his unexpectedly strong attachment to her husband Jim. When we picked him up at the end of each day, Curtis seemed happy and confident, which indicated that he had a lot of fun hanging out with Karen (& Jim), and we always stayed an extra 15 minutes to chat. Her house was kind of a drive from where we were staying in downtown Cincinnati, but Karen was well-worth the drive. If we’re ever back in Cincinnati with Curtis, we would love to work with Karen again!”

About: I love animals, and have always owned pets my whole life. I have a 5 year old Black Labrador Retriever who is very rambunctious and is addicted to catch so I have plenty of experience with hyper dogs! My dog is loving of all dogs & cats. Small and giant breeds welcome! I can’t wait to meet all of the cute & lovable pets out there! 🐾 I am home all week except for afternoons on Tuesday & Thursday, but I have help from my fiancé who is WFH, so the pups are never left unattended! I have a fenced yard with enough room for a nice game of catch, and live within 10 minutes of a dog park (barker ranch), if needed! About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. I am able to provide exercise time, medication administration, ear cleaning, and basic grooming. If you are in need of any of the above services feel free to reach out to me. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.
About: Hi, we're Faith and Rusty. Rusty is a senior corgi-retriever mix that loves naps and rolling in the grass. We walk twice a day and enjoy living near plenty of trails and a big park. He is dog-friendly and would love some company. We're open to hosting for dogs, animals in enclosures, and animals that may be harder to find care for. I have a lot of personal experience with animals from pets to exotics, so we would love to host your loved one. I am fully available. I can also add on weekend activities such as a local hike or taking them to a prepaid grooming appointment for an additional fee. I have an aging dog that takes medication and requires accommodation for seperation anxiety, so I am familiar with meeting special needs or adjustments in care. I do not crate pets unless advised due to behavioral concerns, and the pet must be crate trained. For animals that live in enclosures such as rabbits or guinea pigs, I will keep them on a desk or in my room with periods of playtime out of the enclosure as directed by their guardian.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10. I currently live with my own cat Peanut, but I grew up with 2 cats and a dog. I am very comfortable around rowdy, big, and loud dogs. I work part time at Aldi as a stocker, my schedule varies by week but I work 4-5am to 10am. I am able to come and go as needed in the evening and afternoon.
