I have had guinea pigs, hermit crabs, fish, a salamander (who loved to be 14), dogs, cats and horses. I can be flexible, with notice, to suit a client's needs. I am very safe to not let any animals out the door unless they are leashed or have a fenced in yard. I had a cat who was a master escape artist growing up... I have not forgotten. I will follow any directions you have. I am glad to come in and just clean litter boxes for those that have physical difficulty or dislike doing that, etc. I will always be sure your gates and doors are locked when I leave.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes. Also, have been trusted by many family members & friends to take care of their dogs. This includes taking care of an elderly dog who takes multiple medications & has some trouble getting around, & on the other end of the spectrum a very active & young husky, plus many more! I am a full time athletic trainer at a college, but get a month off in the summer. The other month I work during the summer I only work 4 hour shifts so will have plenty of time to attend to pups! Moving forward after summer I can pick up random week nights & weekends here & there! I am an active person so would love to walk with a dog & take it out to run around & play! About: I have been dog-sitting since I was 13 years old. I have experience with young and old and everything in between, as well as dogs with anxiety. I also have experience with providing medication to dogs. I like to stay in communication with the families while they are away and send lots of pictures/updates, because I know it's stressful being away from their babies. If your dog is not allowed on furniture or within a certain space, these lines will not be crossed, simple as that. There is a life/pet relationship within every home, and my goal is to maintain this sense of security, comfort, and trust while you are away. I am fully comfortable walking any size/breed of dog. However, I will not take your dog on a walk if you wish for me not to, or if he/she has a history of aggression towards others. This is simply to ensure the safety of your pooch, myself, and others.
