About: While I love all animals, cats definitely have a soft spot in my heart. I love going around the neighborhood and feeding the stray cats, and even bringing those in who don’t have a home. I also have had a few amazing family cats growing up. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and helped at the local vet clinic growing up. My last dog passed away from heart failure in 2022. It’s a busy time for my sons activities so it’s not a good time to bring a full time dog into our home at this time but would love to help others out. I work full time outside the home M-TH from 8-3 and half day Fridays (occasional Fridays totally free). I am willing to be flexible with week day stays if they can manage being alone during those hours. Our yard is unfenced but I would walk or chain them out depending on owner preference. They would be treated like they were my own.

About: I have spent a lifetime caring for my own pets as well as rescuing animals. I think pets are an extremely important part of my livelihood and good mental health so I understand that your pet is an integral part of your family as well. I also understand that I am a guest in your pets home and will treat your home with the utmost respect and privacy. I am a mom, a wife and an Air Force veteran and I understand that schedules change due to work, family needs, and sickness. Being a stay at home mom with school age children allows me to be flexible and reliable. I also received my OH-EMT Intermediate medic training at WPAFB while serving in the military. I am very comfortable administering medications and any treatments. As of 2023 I also obtained my Instructor Animal CPR and First Aide Instructor Certification. I am a full time pet care specialist/trainer. I specialize with dogs that have anxiety disorders that can show themselves as aggressive behaviors which I believe are actually unmet needs. “I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. I went to do an introductory meet and greet. Her house was immaculate, very clean and organized. Again this was just a meet and greet, she also made a thumb drive with a tag that had clutch’s name. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I also have a back yard with a lead allowing your dog to run around without being hand held on a leash for every potty break. About: I have cared for dogs for about 9 years now. Anywhere from my own dogs to family or friends. I have always loved dogs. I occasionally do fundraisers for local shelters to show my support. Your dog is guaranteed to be well taken care of, some may even say spoiled, at my house. I even have my own furry friend to keep them company & worn out. I currently am on leave from work until the end of June, leaving me home 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! Meaning ultimate snuggle time and plenty of hanging out with the doggos. I have unlimited water available for dogs whenever they need. My backyard has a 4-foot tall chain link fence , perfect for dogs to run around and play in as much as they want. My house is very dog friendly—dogs are allowed on the furniture and in any room they please. While I do have a 2 year old daughter at home, I am very consistent with teaching her to leave the dogs alone , even our own. Dogs should have personal space , and a break when needed. Also, your dog MUST be friendly with young children, I do take my own precautions but having a patient/friendly dog is the start.

Same goes for any dogs :) I have worked as a foster for shelters in Columbus for three years as well, so I am used to providing 24/7 care for other animals. I work from home full time, so I am able to have a very flexible schedule. If you need your animal cared for in my home, I am able to provide that service. I get off of work in the early evening, which gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits after work. My yard is fenced in, which is great for your doggie kiddos. I also do not let my cats outdoors, so any cat staying with me will be safe in the home. I have a dedicated room in our home where I house all of my rover guests away from our pets. About: Hi! I've taken care of animals for about 40 years. I had horses growing up, then my kids got into 4h and I've help raise chicken, turkeys, pigs, and dairy feeders. About: I have 8 years experience training dogs from puppies to leash reactive dogs. I am comfortable medicating animals and caring for special needs. I saved a client dog recently when I recognized she had eaten one of her toys before coming to stay with me. I rushed her to have emergency surgery and then cared for her after surgery until her parents arrived back from their cruise. I am all about pet care. I am home daily with the exception of a couple varied hours to go out to walk or train dogs. I have 5 fully fenced acres, with a secure fenced backyard just for dogs. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.

About: Ever since I was a child, I was responsible for the care of a variety of animals, and I mean solely responsible. Growing up (and today), I was the one that friends and family came to for pet sitters and care/training advice. I prioritize following pet care instructions to a tee- I do not cut corners on even the most “meticulous” of care instructions. With me, you can trust that your fur babies will receive the highest quality of care and attention because of my intrinsic love for animals. I do this because I love it, not for the money. Currently, I am a dog walker for three dogs, but I would love the opportunity to care for other people’s furry family members on top of that. I am free to walk dogs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. I am free to board dogs and cats Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am free to check in on your furry friends at home pretty much whenever, we can work out the details further when the time comes. - For checking in on pets: When in a client’s home, I am very careful to respect their belongings and privacy. I ensure that I only get into spaces that they instruct me to. *Please be aware: I take my boyfriend with me to house visits for safety precautions, he does not meddle with anything of course, he is just there to ensure my safety (meeting with strangers on the internet is scary, lol.)* - For boarding dogs: *Please be aware: For dogs, I can only care for small puppies. Unfortunately, we have a rescue dog who is reactive to adult dogs due to trauma. But, he is gentle as can be with small puppies and any sort of cats. We also have two cats who are dog friendly, so please ensure that your pup is good with cats* Also, I have a fenced in yard and a whole house for your baby to roam. -For boarding cats: We have two cats here, and though they are fairly cat friendly, I do not intend for them to meet client cats so as to avoid unnecessary stress on my and your cats. So, cats will remain separated. Your cat will be allowed to free roam a certain level of the house for hours, then will be switched out to another level of the house for hours (all while being blocked off from the resident kitties.) Of course, constant supervision will be in place for the entirety of their stay. Your kitty will also sleep in a room with me for the night. - For dog walking: Please provide dog poop bags and, if wanted, any sort of treats you would like for the walk. I require meeting dog walking clients in public places for safety precautions. Also, please let me know of any commands, work, or quirks (chasing after animals, dog aggressive, etc.) that you’d like me to keep in mind for our walks.
About: I have plenty of experience with dog walking, I have also fostered puppies and dogs. Making sure they’re healed and ready for the forever home. I love taking care of animals and I will always treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m currently in school but it’s in the evening. So I set my schedule to work with that. Other than the evenings, I’m open to helping whenever I’m needed. I always want to make sure they’re comfortable, I’m not going to come in and treat this like it’s something for money, I’m going to treat them like they’re my own. About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.
About: My wife and I have grown up around animals and traveling and know the importance of making sure our four-legged family is well taken care of when out adventuring. We love walking, hiking, running, and staying active while also relaxing on the porch and enjoying the fresh air! We are happy to welcome your four legged family into our care and love while you are making memories! My wife and I both work an educational schedule with plenty of free time in the evenings and during holiday's. While we spend our days caring for students, we are always happy to come home and spend plenty of time with our furry guests! We have a quaint house with a lot of space and not many things for pets to get into. We have a couch with a nice window for sunbathing and the ability to crate pets if needed in a side room with a camera and noise machine. We also have two SUVs to transport pets to parks for walks and play, we do live near multiple parks and within a quiet neighborhood.
About: I've taken care of cat's and dogs all of my life. I have 2 cats that are litter trained. I also know how to teach dogs basic training! I'm currently available everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays as I have college those days but I'm looking to get extra cash and I love animals I only have 2 cats that I don't allow outside but I let them wonder anywhere in the house.
