“If you're new to the area and kmhappen to see that Karla is available, you'll probably have the instinct to hire her. Just snag her help while you can! I have two kitties-my babies, of course, and leaving for an entire week wasn't easy. (Another app that is based around cat sitting didn't have a fraction of the sitters, so I was glad to find someone just as happy to cat sit.) I know she's great with them- especially since I was able to see lots of amazing pics of them after every visit. The shy one sat and let her scratch his neck within a couple days, so... yeah if you're a cat person, you know that's legit lol. I know your dogs would be in great hands, too! The litter areas were immaculate and everything was topped off. She even cleaned up the one "stomach incident," which I said not to worry about before leaving! (We discussed all the possible diet quirks and everything else imaginable prior to the trip.) We couldn't have gone anywhere this long without Karla, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again if she's available!!”
About: I’ve been a dog owner since I was a child and have had my dogs Chewie and Murphy for the past 4 years. I work remotely so am able to be there to care for your pets all day and we have plenty of space for them to romp and play in a safe environment. Working full time but able to take time as needed to care for my furry friends. Weekends are open without work and able to play with and walk the dogs. Fully fenced half acre yard with grass and gardens to play on/in. Our dogs now like to “run the race track” around the house throughout the day.

About: I have been helping care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with Dalmatians, dachshunds, black labs and Dobermans. To say I love dogs is an understatement. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! I am not ready to have a dog back in the house full time but have realized, after dog sitting for a friends and family’s dogs, this would be a great way to help care for others pets. My husband and I work from home so letting the dog out is no problem for us. While we do not have a fenced in yard, we do have a lead to let them out on and take frequent walks. About: I have been taking care of pets for 10 years now. My passion for animals boosted in 2013 when I started helping a nonprofit animal rescue. Since then I have fostered animals, became a pet sitter for past fosters and worked in animal care. I am retired and my husband works part-time so one of us is almost always home to care for your pet(s). If we are gone for a few hours, our dogs are caged in the house. Usually, it is if we go out for dinner or the store, so it's for short periods. If your dog does not do caging, that's ok as long as they are good! We have a large fenced yard. Our 6 foot privacy fence also has wire mesh at the bottom of the fence to make sure dogs are safe and can't get out (or other animals get in). Our dogs are about 3 years old and get along well with other dogs. They love to play and are free to move in the house and the yard, and they get regular walks. Dogs are allowed on furniture. We would love to be your pet sitter while you are away, and you can be confident your doggie will be happy, safe and loved!

I have an extensive history of working with animals as I began horseback riding when I was 8 years old and grew up helping my grandmother care for her horses and dogs. My household was filled with dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, and I also owned a horse as a child. I also have experience caring for 2 chihuahuas for months at a time. I have helped a woman groom, exercise, and feed her horses and cats when she is out of town since 2007.
