About: Hello! My name is Sarah. I would describe myself as your run of the mill animal lover. I have my own home and it’s just myself, my two year old Shiba Inu, a senior cat, and a kitten. I live on .25 acres and have a chain link fenced in yard. My yard is pretty dig proof, as my own dog is a digger, however it is a shorter chain link fence that could be jumped by a bigger dog. I do have a line I could attached the dog to that would still give access to most of the yard. Otherwise, I wanted to do boarding on Rover because I know how hard it is to trust people to give your dog the time and attention you would want it to have while you are away. I work five minutes from my house, go home for an hour everyday for lunch, and spend most of my weekends at home. If I were boarding your pet, I would spend the weekend at home. My house is also five minutes away from a park that has two dog parks and a walking trail. I would be more than happy to send pictures and videos while your pet is staying with me! I let my pets have free access to the entire house and furniture while I am at work, but would be happy to crate if your pet needs it. I also have the ability to separate the pets should it be necessary for any reason. I do work full time, but since I live so close to work I come home for my lunch break everyday and spend an hour with my dog in the yard. Depending on the weather, I also will walk my dog or take him to the dog park by my house. I spend most of my weekends at home, only leaving to do things like grocery shop and that. My pets are my kids. I care deeply about them being safe and well cared for, and I would make sure your pets feel the same way. I am happy to crate pets or let them roam free depending on your preference. I also make sure they have plenty of playtime and love. Our house has a fully fenced backyard with a magnetic screen door so they will have access to the outside whenever they want. Our dogs also love to play with other dogs, and are very friendly and chill. We have experience with senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, so if your pet has medication needs, we can make sure your pup stays on schedule with whatever they need. I think you will quickly find that your dog becomes part of our family and we treat them as our own, and your pup will view their stay with us as a relaxing vacation and want to return again and again. One of us is always working from home, so there will never be a time when your pet is alone. We tend to be homebodies, and will schedule social events around the care of your pet. We have a fully fenced backyard and generally leave the backdoor open during the day so that the dogs can go in/out at their own leisure. We live in a quiet neighborhood so if your dog prefers to be walked, the neighborhood is self-contained, off the main road and fully sidewalked. Your dog will have full run of the house, and is even permitted to be on furniture! We also have a variety of dog beds and crates for whatever style your dog prefers to sleep or relax. About: I have 5 animals- 4 cats & 1 dog. I have always had such a connection with animals, I enjoy taking care of them & bonding, I have fostered dogs & my animals were all adopted from shelters.
