In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. About: I've been taking care of dogs for about 5 years for friends and family. I walk, feed, and administer medication. I also love to play with your pups! We will play a lot of fetch, go to the dog park, make crafts, and get lots of belly rubs. I have also had to handle seizures on several occasions. I currently work full time in downtown Delaware from 8:00-4:30, give or take the commute to and from your home. However, my weekends typically consist of hanging out and giving pups lots of play time. I love getting out for a walk or the dog park when it’s nice. If it’s not nice outside, I love to cuddle with your pup and a movie. When at other homes, I keep the same level of respect I would expect from someone staying in my home. I respect privacy of homeowners and I always leave the house clean. I also provide lots of photos and videos of your pets playing, lounging, and walking.

About: I’ve taken care of cats all of my life. I’ve never not had a cat in my life. I currently have 1 indoor cat of my own, and 3 outdoor cats I’ve adopted from the neighborhood. About: My whole life there was an animal in my household. So ever since I was 5 years old I would help out. It started off as just feeding the dogs but as I got older I gained more and more experience. Taking the dogs on a walk, letting them outside, simple grooming, administering medicine, etc. Dogs and animals alike have a special place in my heart. They truly are man’s best friend. Even if it isn’t my personal animal it is my goal to give your furry friend the same care and affection that they deserve. I’m currently a college student in my sophomore year. I miss my dogs now that I’m not home, so I truly do give other people dogs as if they are my own. My schedule is mostly open in the evenings and I’m more than willing to work things out, even outside of hours that are listed in my profile. I would want to get to know you and your dog before I come into both of your guys domain. I would follow directions however you desire and most importantly treat them as my own fur baby.

I have two dogs of my own: a 6-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog and a medium male Goldendoodle. Both are gentle, submissive, and friendly with other dogs. My Bernese especially has a sweet “mama bear” personality and is very nurturing around other pets. My home is calm, dog-friendly, and comfortable. Pets are allowed on the furniture, and I want visiting dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while they are here. I live in a quiet neighborhood with very little road noise, and there is a large community park close by where I can take dogs for walks, fresh air, and playtime based on their comfort level and your instructions. I’m best suited for dogs who are potty trained, friendly with other dogs, and not destructive in the home. I like to keep a peaceful environment, so I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure your dog feels comfortable with me, my dogs, and the space. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I will follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any house rules you share. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you feel connected while you are away. Your dog will be treated with patience, affection, and respect in a safe home environment.
