Personalized care for your dog or cat - Kent

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Kent
“Isabel was very kind and patient with my dog Luna. Luna can be very shy with new people but Isabell took time to get to know her and help her feel comfortable in her home. I LOVED getting photo updates! It helped me feel better being away from my dog for a few days for work. On the last day, there was an incident and I appreciate that Isabel was honest about the situation and took professional and appropriate measures afterwards. Thank you Isabel for watching Luna.”

“I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the wonderful care you provided for my dog, Luna! From the moment I dropped her off, I could tell she was in great hands. You took the time to understand her personality and needs, which made all the difference. Luna had an absolute blast during her day with you! Thank you once again for giving Luna such a wonderful day. I will definitely be reaching out for future dog-sitting needs, and I highly recommend your services to anyone looking for a caring and responsible sitter!”

“Isabella made sure our two dogs had a great time with her! They went to the dog park, on a hike, and even for a pup cup. She sent lots of pictures and was very communicative. We appreciate her taking on our last minute booking!”

“Susan and her husband cared for Barney like he was their own. They are both very responsible, caring and loving dog owners that Barney was more than comfortable with. Their dog, Jonah, was very well behaved and super friendly. Jonah and Barney were best buds within the first couple minutes of meeting each other. They went on a few walks and played a bunch in their fenced in backyard. Barney was tired out and a happy dog when we came to pick him up :) I would highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a trusting and caring dog sitter.”

“Kim is so wonderful! My dog is young and gets food aggressive with other animals, but she handled it great and was very accommodating to her needs. Her two dogs are so sweet and her home is a great environment for my dog. My dog seemed very comfortable and loved. I received plenty of pictures (which I adore). I would highly recommend Kim to care for your pup!”

“Alayna and Adam deserve a 10 star review. They met the needs of our dogs, they followed instructions provided, kept the dogs engaged and stimulated. Dogs were perfect little angels and never showed distress as they were made to feel at home during their stay. Great communcation via messages, videos and pictures. They shared any concerns they observed during the stay and checked in to make sure it was normal behavior and one of our dogs health was okay. They were amazing and accomodating. Their house is clean!! I can't say enough things about them! Will definitely book them again!”

“Only good things to say. Communicated well and promptly. Worked with my schedule as far as drop-off and pick-up. Returned our pup happier than when we dropped him off. Will definitely use again if available.”

“She was amazing. Very accommodating to us doing later in the day drop off and pick up. She gave great updates and made Tater tot comfortable! Will use her again in the future if we need a dog sitter! Thanks for everything”

About: Hi I’m Hayley! I have about a year of Rover experience, doing doggie drop ins and walks. A little bit about me: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs nearly my entire life. I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love! I have two super friendly poodle mixes Nova and Arlo. Not only have I taken care of cats/dogs for 20+ years, I’m also the first to volunteer to care for my friends and neighbors beloved pets. I once babysat a neighbors 30 outdoor cats! I also have experience with senior cats and dogs. My expertise with dogs are home visits, walking and fetch or playing. I have a toddler who also loves animals and will accompany me at times, so a friendly dog is a MUST. I will watch one small/medium dog at my home in Ravenna prior to meeting them to ensure they get along with my pups. I treat my pets like family members, and would love to care for yours as well! I work a flexible hybrid schedule so I’m willing to work with your schedule. I’m available for overnight doggy daycare at my home for one family friendly pup if you’re out of town. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to keep your dog company. They love to play! I’m willing and able to crate if needed as well.
“Arya is fantastic. I could immediately tell that he is very knowledgeable about dogs and will do what’s best for your dog no matter what. It’s very evident that he cares and loves dogs abundantly. During my dog Kylo’s stay, I received a video every single day, which really meant a lot. I had just recently rescued my dog, and I wasn’t sure how he was going to do, but Arya’s expertise instilled a lot of confidence in me that everything would be fine, and it was. My brother-in-law saw me watching the videos Arya sent me one day and said he wished he left his dog there too, and that he’s going to from now on. I couldn’t recommend Arya more and WILL be using him when I need boarding in the future.”

“My 16 year old Chihuahua Molly had a wonderful stay with Anita and her family. Her dog, Fern, is sweet and mellow and quickly became Molly's BFF. Anita is patient and positive in dealing with older doggy issues. We really appreciate that Molly has such a comfortable place to stay when we are out of town. :)”

“AMAZING FAMILY. They were such a great choice for my girl. All the updates they sent were so awesome. Let alone you can just see the comfort, happiness & fun in my girl. I was worried she wouldn’t want to come home because she was loving it so much! Ava seemed to fit right in with the pack as well as feel right at home with them. Out of all the Rovers we’ve had this by far has been my favorite! ❤️ 🥰”

“Lindsay was an amazing sitter for my baby Theodore. She was attentive, patient, sweet, and also gives updates on how he was doing the whole time. I got daily pictures of him and it made me really happy. I will book her again and again. Highly recommend.”

“Madison took care of Mason while we were away and did a great job. She was reliable and kept everything running smoothly. Mason seemed comfortable and well taken care of when we got back. Communication was easy, which we really appreciated. We’d be happy to have her watch him again!”

“Isabel is kind and easy to work with. She took excellent care of my older dog (parson Russel mix) with drop in visits while we attended a wedding. Quick to respond. Left home in excellent order. Will book with her again. Thank you Isabel!!!”

About: I grew up on a farm where I cared for a range of animals from chickens to cats. From there, I have always had a pet to share my heart with. I have had guinea pigs, cats, dogs in my own home and have yet to meet an animal I don't get along with. I am looking for flexible work so that I can finish writing my novel without letting the burden of finances fall completely on my husband. I figure walking and caring/sitting for animals to help keep my family fed is a great match for me, my personality, and my love for animals. I used to work 13 hour days, an hour from home, so I understand the importance of a pet nanny and would be honored to help you with that need! My two fur babies, Lily (9 year old Ragamuffin kitty) and Ellie (5 year old German Shepherd) have different personalities and co-habitate beautifully, but I would not want to introduce other animals into my home. Both of my girls are rescues from different shelters (Angels for Animals and One of a Kind Pet Rescue) and they both lived stressful lives before me so my job is to give them sanctuary and love. That said, in regard to care, Lily is pretty self regulated. Every other day, her food bowl is re-filled (no, you can't see the bottom of the bowl but she's my sweet princess who gets what she wants) and her kitty litter is scooped every other day and changed as needed. Ellie is a rescued Puppy Mill momma who grew up in a very confusing way and is forever married to routine. To keep her happy and healthy, we let her out same time each day (7am) where she eats 1.5 cups of food, potty break at 12pm and again at 5pm (1.5 cups). Ellie's gets let out 3 times a day, per her wants because I try to let her out more and if she doesn't have to go potty, she turns around and lays on her Tempur-Pedic bed. Otherwise, when the weather is appropriate Ellie and I take a minimum of a 15 minute walk in the park behind my house. I hope this description helps you trust that your fur babies will consider me "Auntie Marah" soon enough, and that they are in safe and caring hands with me. I am happy to answer any questions!

“Jennifer was amazing as always! This was our second time having her watch our cat Angus and she never fails to put our minds at ease knowing that she is making sure our little guy is well taken care of. She sends us plenty of videos and leaves detailed comments on our rover card at the end of each visit. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Anna is ALWAYS our go to sitter for our cats. We recently got a puppy and she did a fantastic job watching her aswell. She truly does an amazing job with all the animals, I cant say enough good things!!”

“It was my second booking with Riley! My cat crew was well taken care of and she really takes the time to get to know each of them and their personalities and needs. She communicates what’s going on and makes me feel comfortable leaving them in her care.”

About: Ever since I saw my beautiful calico in that window well scared and unsure, I’ve had such a special place in my heart for cats. I’ve bottle fed, given medication, handled the not so kind and sick, but still my love is just as strong.

“Samantha was very responsive, easy to work with, and made the whole experience stress free. I felt completely comfortable having her check on my dog. Looking forward to booking her again!”

“After meeting and talking with Kari, I felt very comfortable with her caring for my 16 year old cat whom means the world to me. Kari is a very responsible individual, intelligent, caring and understanding. She asked great questions in the meet and greet and she provided great information. I intend to use her exclusively and recommend her to anyone. 5 stars”

“True animal-loving and caring individual. Attention to detail, followed our excessive written instructions to the "T", and did extra work outside of requirements. We will definitely be hiring again.”

“Hayley was dependable and always sent nice little notes and photos every day. She seemed to really care about my kitties ❤️ She was great with communication beforehand as well. Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart is the calm, patient approach I bring to every cat I care for. I understand that cats have unique personalities and boundaries, so I always let them warm up at their own pace while making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their environment.
“We really appreciate Matt’s dropping in to care for our 3 kitties while we were out of town. He did a great job and kept us in the loop the whole time we were gone which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend Matt and use him again!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Kent
“Our dog has gone to Zachary’s several times for doggy daycare and he loves it! Each time he comes home happy and tired from playing with his dogs. Would definitely recommend!”

“Kelli has been watching my Australian Shepard for nearly a month now on a weekly basis for doggie daycare. She does a wonderful job playing, walking, and caring for my Ruby. She manages Rubys high energy and chaotic personality. Kelli is a great experienced sitter and I would recommend her to anyone!!”

About: Your pet is treated as my own and a family member. Your fur baby is not crated unless you request that and provide the crate. Your pet gets to go outside and run and play several times a day. I go out and encourage playing and running for exercise. When the weather permits, we walk through the field and explore along the canal. If your pet is older and doesn't want to play or explore, that's ok. I have plenty of shaded areas for them to just lounge and take a snooze while I sit with them and read. I would love to share your fur babies with you. Must provide proof of all shot records (including Kennel Cough vaccine). I insist on a meet and greet to make sure that your fur baby is going to be a good match with our family. I do not board pit bulls (or pit mixes), German Shepherds, Rottweilers it any aggressive dogs for my safety as well as my pup. I am retired. I never leave your pups alone. If I need to run to the store, my husband is here with the pups. When the pups are outside, I'm outside work them. I have a large fenced in back yard and a standard poodle that would love to play with your pup/pups and keep them company. She loves having new playmates.
About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life, and now that I’m recently retired, I have the time to give them the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I treat every dog like part of the family—whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, or just relaxing together. With a calm, patient nature and a flexible schedule, I can focus fully on your pet’s needs and routines. You can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, happy, and loved like one of my own. I am recently retired and am available all of the time. I currently have two small dogs of my own and watching an additional dog would be no trouble at all. If you dog stays with me, they will be treated just like my own pet. I am able to walk them, feed them special diets, or administer oral medication. I am home almost all of the time and can give them the attention they need.

About: From the time I was 3 years old, I've had 4 cats and 2 dogs! I have looked after pets for friends, family, and neighbors, and love them like my own. I have experience walking, bathing, feeding, and playing with cats and dogs. I am very good at teaching puppies new tricks! I also have experience administering both oral and injected medication to both dogs and cats. Let me love on your pet today! I’m currently a Stay At Home Mom to an 15 month old, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies while you’re away! I’m always home and ready to help. My home has an unfenced yard, but with your permission, I could take them to the dog park to run and play off the leash!
About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I don’t have any right now. My boy passed away a year ago so Would love to watch your baby for a while! I would need some advanced notice before watching your fur baby. Most weekends are open. I work part time so have a lot of free time but must check with my schedule. I have a big yard not fenced so would require a leash to walk your dog. Live on a dead end street a quiet area. I have no small children no animals of my own so your pet would have freedom in my home. And they would be allowed on the couch !!

We have two sweet female dogs of our own and would love to get to know yours!

“Isabel has been a delight to get to know and her enthusiasm with Mulligan is awesome. There is no hesitation asking Isabel back when needed to walk or take advantage of future boarding or play dates.”

About: I am a second year zoology major with the intention of further education in animal care. I have cared for the family dogs for just about six years (a combined number of four at this point). I am my family and friends' go to sitter. I am reliable and consistent. I am comfortable with pretty much anything, and have plenty of experience with reactive/aggressive dogs. During the summer I work full-time, and I'm a full-time student during the school year, however I don't have much going on outside of that and have plenty of time for drop-in care throughout the day. I’m also totally okay with overnight stays. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide boarding services due to my living situation. I am happy to provide whatever services you need within your home!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of patience, care, and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every animal has a different personality and unique needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I am dependable, trustworthy, and committed to keeping pets happy and maintaining their normal routines. I also have experience caring for pets at different stages of life, including young puppies and senior animals. I can help reinforce basic training for younger pets, such as potty routines, leash manners, and positive behavior habits. With senior pets, I provide gentle care, extra patience, medication reminders if needed, and close attention to comfort and mobility needs. In addition to daily feeding, walks, and playtime, I focus on providing companionship and reducing stress or anxiety for pets when their families are gone. I communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos so they always know their pets are in good hands. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and reliable experience that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. Pet care fits into my daily routine by being my favorite thing in the world. Since I moved I am not able to have any pets so being able to take care of your fur baby would be a blessing! I do not allow pets at my place over night. Only if it’s for a few hours as my landlord is picky. So it is more ideal for me to come to your place as it would be easier for me to meet your pets needs. I do ask that you provide so information about your pets when you book with me. Thank you!
“Perfect service. I'm down for awhile and Amber is used to get daily hikes. Matt was a perfect match for my girl. He was very friendly, prompt, and personable. Amber loved him. Will use him again”

About: Mom to two energetic pups.🐶 Roy (english setter) & Banks (black lab) keep my life exciting! We enjoy swimming, running, & a good ole cuddle on the couch. I’m here to hopefully make your life easier & remove extra anxiety that pups can cause when you’re traveling without them 💓 I am currently a Division 1 coach whose competition season is in the fall, so I only have Mondays off, but my spring season allows me to have an easier schedule with weekends free! About: Hi there! I’m your friendly neighborhood pet sitter 😊 Thanks so much for stopping by my profile and considering me to care for your fur babies! I’ve been working with animals professionally through Rover since 2019 and my passion for pet care goes back even further to 2006 when I got my first pup. At home, I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by my own little zoo—I have two dogs (ages 8 and 6) and four cats. I’ve also cared for a senior pup who lived to be 21, so I understand the needs of pets at every stage of life. This also gave me experience in administering oral and injection style medication’s. Whether your pet loves long walks, chill neighborhood strolls, hikes, or just quiet companionship, I’ll tailor my care to their comfort level and routine. I also offer reliable cat sitting and small animal care, and I always treat pets like family. If you’re heading out of town, you can count on me for photo updates, clear communication, and peace of mind knowing your pets are in loving hands. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to send me a message—I’d love to learn more about your pets and how I can help! Your routine and pets needs absolutely have to come first! While in the pre-booking process, we will discuss the schedule that works best for you and your pet to make sure we will be a good match for each other. Additionally, I will have my phone on with the volume up at all times while your pet is in my care. If you need to reach me or just want a picture of your baby, it’s minutes away!
About: I grew up with two dogs at home, a small schnauzer poodle mix and a larger vizsla. I have been taking care of them and walking them consistently for around 6 years. One is very energetic, friendly, but pulls a lot on a leash and the other is more reserved and not great with other dogs, so I have experience working with both types of dogs. I also was taking care of a friend’s puppy recently, so I am experienced with puppies/younger dogs as well. I just recently got a kitten and I am obsessed with her! I am available almost every morning/early afternoon. There are a few days during the week where I am available all day. Available on some weekends as well. My care is guided by information from clients about their pets. You know your pet best! I am always willing to switch up my approach based on each pet’s individual needs!

About: Hello, my name is Samantha! I have about 7 years of dog-walking, dog/cat care and house-sitting experience with families around the Stow/Munroe Falls area. I also have 3 cats (Prince Harry, Retro and Coffee) and a dog (Sarah) of my own who have given me a lot of pet care experience! :) I am currently working part time in the early mornings, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets all evening and night! I’m an early riser, so I am also able to check-in, walk, and/or feed your pets in the morning before my other job! At my home, I have a fenced in yard, as well as an older dog and 3 cats - if you prefer to have your pets stay at my home, they will need to be very cat friendly! However, I am more than happy to care for your pets in their own home environment if that is what is most comfortable for them.
About: Hi, my name is Sophia and I have a deep love for all animals. Although my beloved beagle passed away a couple years ago, I truly miss the companionship of pets, which is one of the reasons I’m so excited to help care for other animals. I’ve previously worked as a dog walker and pet sitter, where I gained experience with feeding, walking, grooming and providing plenty of love and attention to pets. In my current role as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in home health, I have also had the pleasure of interacting with my patients’ animals, which has only deepened my appreciation for pets. I also love capturing adorable photos of the animals I care for, as a way to share their unique personalities with their owner. I make my own schedule for work, so you let me know when is best for you and I should be able to make it work. I pay attention to any changes in behaviors and will notify you if anything seems off. Communication is very important to me so I will be also checking in with you to make sure everything is going well.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 9 years old, and over the years I’ve looked after the pets of roommates, friends, and family. From energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, I know how to give each pet the love, patience, and attention they need. I have hands-on experience with puppy training, daily walks, playtime, feeding, and medication if needed. Your dog’s happiness and safety are always my top priorities — I treat every furry friend like they’re my own! I currently work Mondays through Thursdays, but have lots of time in the mornings, evenings, and weekends to care for your pets! My schedule can be flexible which gives me the option to work with the schedule that works best for you and your pets. I care for pets like they’re my own! I follow their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles so they feel comfortable and happy. In your home, I make sure they get plenty of attention and exercise while keeping things just the way they’re used to. In my home, I provide a safe, cozy space with lots of love and supervision.

About: I have handled small animals and reptiles for 9 years, cats and dogs for 7, and horses and livestock for 6! I have a variety of experience with many different breeds with many different temperaments. There isn’t much I can’t handle! I currently only work part time at a local rescue/shelter so I have some time on my hands! I have my own car that I don’t mind getting some fur and dirt in, so if your pups are a fan of hikes or just want to go on an adventure that’s no problem for me! I take animal care and welfare very seriously, my babies get water and food dishes scrubbed daily, proper diet tailored to their needs, whatever exercise they require, and all the attention they could ever ask for! I will treat your pets as if they were my own, keeping a clean, happy, healthy environment for them!
About: I can sit and board during any holiday! I am new to the site, so that is why I do not have any reviews. I try to respond in less than thirty minutes. In the evening, I usually respond within a few minutes. I walk on a daily basis personally and am used to taking dogs on walks at least a few times a day. I have worked with all different breeds and do my research on breed specifications before taking care of any animal. I have helped taken care of animals that have to receive oral and injections daily. I have taken care of all ages of animals from babies to seniors. I have owned dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and rabbits. I currently do not own any animals, so that I can focus on your pets. I do usually send updates/pictures during the time your pet is with me, so that you know how they are doing I work as a nurse full time Monday through Friday. I started work usually no earlier than 745 am and am done no later than 5 pm. I have an hour long lunch break. I board on weekends so that I can be with your animal 24/7. I can dog sit throughout the week and dogs will receive a morning and evening walk as well as a lot of love and affection. I can do dog walking in the evening and if you live in the Fairlawn/Montrose area, I can do drop in visits between 12 pm-1 pm. I keep my availability up to date on this calendar as well. I live in a two bedroom apartment, but I live near a dog park I can take them to and can take them out every hour or two during the weekend if the board with me. I would take them on at least one walk minimum whether staying at my apartment or taking care of them at yours. The walks can vary from an half an hour to an hour or more depending on the dog and how your dog is feeling. I always ask their feeding schedule and an dietary restrictions. At my home, I have intellectual toys as well as just typical toys. If allowed, dogs and cats are more than welcome to sleep in bed with me. I allow animals on my furniture and have locks on cabinets to ensure they cannot get anything to harm them. I keep treats and food at my apartment. For walks, I have a hands free leash that goes around waist, so that way there is not a chance that the leash slips out of my hands.
About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I've cared for a variety of pets: seniors, puppies, cats, kittens, high energy, shy or anxious. I’m patient, gentle, and always focused on making pets feel safe and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I adapt to each pet’s needs and routine. I treat every animal like they’re my own and always keep their comfort, safety, and happiness as my top priorities. I currently am a pharmacy technician full time but I typically have 3 days off weekly and time before and after work available for your pets needs. I’m someone who believes pets deserve the same comfort, safety, and love they get at home. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just being “watched”—they’re being cared for thoughtfully and responsibly.

“Keith & Rebecca took such great care of our dog Pippy! They were very easy to communicate with & sent many photos & updates, which we really appreciated! They exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend!”

“Savannah was great! She welcomed Charlie with open arms and an open heart! Couldn't have asked for a better caretaker! Five stars just doesn't do her justice...should be ten stars! Thank you Savannah and family! Kathryn and Milt”

“Miko had a great time with Desia. She was able to watch him last minute while we went to see family out of town. We received many pictures and videos with updates on our sweet baby which made us not stress as much about leaving him.”

“Jess took exceptional care of our older Bernese Mtn dog, Gracie. Just as her background on Rover indicates, Jess is well-versed in special care with administering meds and handling our dog who has some issues with weakness. Her care goes beyond those two qualities! Our dog loved her stay there as to how great she looked when we picked her up! Jess gave us a daily photo update and stayed connected with us about an issue Gracie had, which was quickly resolved. Wonderful peace of mind. We can't say enough great things about Jess. She is the best!”

“Extremely satisfied! My pup got lots of good care and affection. Truly went above and beyond. The Chewmiester destroyed her collar and Cassie bought my pup a new one! Great sitter, great family. Highly appreciated and recommended🤎🖤🧡”

“Rachel & Dan are amazing! Leaving your fur baby with strangers is a HARD choice, but Rachel sent me updates and photos everyday to ease my heart and mind. I was so thankful to see her everyday. They stayed up to accomadate my late flight home and sent my girl home with the sweetest surprise. I would 100% recommend.”

“Our baby Buddy is our family. He's our son. We rarely leave him with anyone, but I need you to know that Sarah did an amazing job. She made us feel comfortable, she communicated with us sent photos, videos of our furry love one. She put our mind at ease. Kept us updated on his activities. Job well done. Sarah is a very kind-hearted person. I would definitely utilize her services again and again.”

“When in need of a loving sitter for my large dog, Christina was very accommodating. It was my dog's first time in a home with cats, and she seemed to adjust quickly. My dog has a special diet, that includes rice and turkey. Christina managed to take care of all of my dog's food necessities on top of making her feel welcome. Additionally, my dog not only ate all her food, but in record time at a rover stay. I got updates throughout the day along with the pictures I requested. Definitely will look to Christina for any future stays as she cared for my dog as if it were her own.”
