About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently own a 7 year old shepherd lab mix and a rescue Yorkie mix (age unknown but at least 5 years old). About: Growing up I have always cared for our family pets. Today I have 3 rescue dogs of my own. My pups are apart of my family. I volunteer to transport dogs to a safe homes. Animals of any type depend on their humans to care for them. When their humans can’t be there for some reason they still need that special care and attention. About: I grew up with a black lab, Macey and a Chihuahua mix, Tootsie and took care of them from when I was young until around the age of 16 when they passed away. I also regularly dog sat 5 dogs at once- all with specific needs, diets and medications before the family moved away. I am comfortable with high energy dogs, I will happily administer medication, and we have 2 acres of fenced in land for your dog to run and play! I am a flight attendant so my schedule varies- usually I work 3-4 days a month and they are never the same. Request and I’ll accept if I’m not flying that day, but other than occasional work I’m pretty much always home! I would love to have a dog but because I’m a flight attendant I know I couldn’t give it the consistency and love it would need- however, on days I am home I would LOVE to have a furry friend to play with. We would be happy to host your dog(s) and let them run around our fenced in back yard, explore the barn, and roam the house. We only accept dogs that are good with children and that are potty trained. We have a large kennel if your dog is crate trained and you would like us to use it, but as long as it’s good with kids it’s free to explore. We can administer medication, give treats, and share lots of love and we hope you’ll trust us with your beloved pups ❤️ P.S. my favorite breeds are corgis, labs and golden doodles :) but I’m not picky, all dogs will receive equal love 😉

“Reggie spent an entire week with John, Shannon and their family! He had so much fun that I was afraid he would be depressed when he got home!! Daily walks, lots of fetch, played well with their dog and others that were there. We had multiple daily updates and pictures. Truly very thankful for the care he received. They treated him like their own and made us feel so comfortable while we were gone. Can't thank you all enough! We will definitely reach out the next time we are out of town!!”
