We got lucky with Nicole, she has a similar schedule and was able to feed our cat early mornings consistent with our daily feedings. Our meet & greet was great as well. We have never used Rover and were really unsure what to expect. Nicole answered questions via messaging before scheduling a meet. A few hours before our scheduled time, Nicole reached out to confirm our appointment. “Wow! Rachel is absolutely amazing! We had a last minute need for someone to watch our cats - 2 brothers that joined us from a foster home about 10 months ago. We found Rachel on the site, reached out to her, and she immediately responded and stopped by that day to meet us and Bo and Luke. Rachel was so kind with the boys from the moment she met them. About: I've been around animals since I was very young and love all of them. They are part of my family and will be treated as such while they're with me. My beloved dog Mario is no longer with me; he lived for 13 wonderful years and was the best dog anyone could ask for. I haven't been able to get another one since then. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i had my first dog in the first grade. A white Samoyed. When she was 3 she has 7 puppies! I was obsessed with them. We sold 6 and kept one. So we had 2 big white Samoyed’s that I had the responsibility of raising and attending to. They were my whole world. I’m always the first to be asked to watch someone’s dog because if there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s loving on dogs. I now have a mini dachshund who i love so much. I have experience with puppies, big dogs, little dogs, and senior dogs. I’m able to train puppies and care for senior dogs who would need more help in their day to day activities such as meds, frequent potty breaks, and patience. I also had an internship with the lake humane society in high school and have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs/cats who could use some extra love. I am currently a stay at home mom with my 8 year old who is in school and 1 year old who both love dogs I figured i could help out some dog momma or daddies who aren’t able to be home with them all day. I am able to let your dog out every couple hours. And even take them for brief walks. We have plenty of dog toys to share, bully sticks (while supervised), treats, and extra dog bowls if needed. My husband is a realtor so is home most of the time if i am not. I crate our dog at home when we leave. I also have a camera just in case to make sure she’s okay while we’re gone. We moved so we don’t have a fenced in yard anymore. But had leads if they want to stay outside for a longer period of time. I also live next to my parents who have a fenced in yard where i could take them if you feel more comfortable with that.

About: Since I was 11 years old putting dog walking flyers on my neighbors porches, I have always had a passion for taking care of animals. I still have people contacting me to cat or dog sit for them, and they love to recommend me to their friends. I love animals, and I know how to handle them safely and responsibly. From working with horses to dolphins, I have been around many different animals. I have owned reptiles and guinea pigs as well as dogs and cats, I have been working with and riding horses since 2018, and every summer since around 2020 I have gone to the Florida Keys and learned about training dolphins, I have aged out of that program now. I also volunteered at an animal shelter when I was younger. I am looking for a job to use my skills with animals. I work at a veterinary practice for a large animal veterinarian currently on Wednesdays and Fridays. I am looking for another job that I can work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I can also do weekends if you are looking for someone who will stop by and take care of your animal for 30 minutes to an hour, but I like to have time on my weekends to spend with my loved ones, so the activities that take longer I would like the save for weekdays. I promise to love and take care of your animal as if it is my own until their favorite person comes back! I have my own reliable transportation, I can take your dog to a dog park if it is dog friendly, or I have a lot of land at my house. I also could take it to any walking paths. I know how to handle animals of all temperaments, and I am a good communicator and will keep you updated. I would love the opportunity to take care of your animal! I work at a veterinary practice part time on Wednesdays and Fridays and I generally start early in the morning around 7, and it’s a 40 minute drive. My hours can vary but I’m usually done sometime before 4pm. I can do drop by visits on those days early in the morning and after 5pm. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, I can do dog walking, dog sitting, or doggy day care at my house! Anything that generally takes a decent amount of time I can do on those days. On the weekends, I can do house visits for 30 minutes to an hour, but I would like to keep my weekends open as much as possible to spend time with friends and family and go to the barn. I have my own cat as well as 4 other cats, an english bulldog, and a french bulldog owned by my boyfriend’s family that I live with. I generally feed and take care of my cats and the other cats, but I used to pet sit for them and took care of their dogs as well. As far as caring for animals in my own home, I live on 8 acres of land, some of which is a field blocked off by tree line that would be a perfect place to play. I also have a fenced in concrete and grass area for the dogs to use the restroom. I have crates in my house where I can separate dogs if needed. I also know of lots of places to walk dogs, and live by a couple of dog parks. As for care in a clients home, I have lots of experience. I can do litter boxes, feed and water animals, and give enrichment and treats if requested by the owner. I can also let dogs outside on leash, or in a fenced in backyard. I’d rather be safe than sorry, so I avoid taking a dog off leash if they do not have a fenced in or secluded area. I can take them on walks around your neighborhood as well. I am also willing to take care of exotic animals or livestock, as I have plenty of background in that as well.

About: My goal is to make sure that pet parents like me have someone they can trust to help care for their babies. I have two years of experience working at a boarding/daycare facility where I was a supervisor for 1.5 years there, this means that I have experience working with dogs who need to take any type of medication- like insulin. I have been working at an animal shelter for 6 months where I’ve grown to learn more about the body language of dogs which has made me more confident in making sure the animals are comfortable and I can tell when they are starting to get overstimulated. I treat every fur baby like my own just as I would hope anyone else would mine. I am currently doordashing, actively seeking more work. My schedule is very flexible so I am able to do last minute drop in’s if needed! I have a fenced in property where your dogs would be safe from getting out and wandering around, I have 3 very social dogs who love to have friends but I could also keep everyone separated if that is what’s needed. I also have crates if your pet needs to go in one. If I were to be at my clients home I would make sure that your pets are able to go potty at a scheduled time either going in your backyard or bringing them on a walk to get everything out of their system. I can make sure that your pet will not have anything in their area that could hurt them or be eaten which could cause more damage as well.

"Check-In" [Drop-In] Visits I stop by my client's home while they're away a few times a day (Usually 3-4X is most common) for 30-45 minutes each time to feed, take out to potty, and play with their pets. The fee for check-ins run between $18-20 a visit, depending on the distance and the amount of times needed, holiday rates, number of pets, etc. Overnight sitting in your home is at a higher rate and dependent on scheduling availability. (This would not include staying at the residence all day; just over-night with your pet.) Pet sitters take care of our most treasured furry friends and help ease the stress and discomfort that comes with a disrupted schedule for your dogs. They’ll still miss you, but having someone available for belly rubs, food, and fetch can help take their minds off the misery. I can even check in on your precious cargo holidays or weekends I have a fenced in backyard for your dog to run around in. I do have cats in my home who were introduced and lived with our pooch until her passing recently. I prefer to home sit in your home due to the fact I have 5 cats and 2 dogs and it may be overwhelming

My home is a cozy, pet-friendly space where your dog's safety is my number one priority. While I do not have a fenced yard, I always keep dogs securely leashed during all outdoor bathroom breaks and walks. I strictly follow your feeding routines and provide constant supervision to keep them safe and happy.
About: I have grown up with animals and am an animal lover by nature. I have house sat for several families, having experience with multiple dog homes, cats, and birds. I have provided cared for rambunctious puppies and kittens as well, and I love to meet new furry friends! Currently my schedule for the summer I will be working out of the home from the times of 8:30 AM to 5:00PM three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. When I pet sit I prioritize being there for the pets as much as possible so that your animals can receive the love and care they deserve! I am comfortable leashing and walking dogs, even ones that pull. If I do leave during the day I like to crate the dogs I watch so they have a safe space when I’m gone, and I make sure to keep the floor clear of any hazards that could cause a potential problem.

About: I’ve been around all animals my whole life, My friends and family have always called me an animal whisperer because I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me. About: I've been around animals since I was very young and love all of them. They are part of my family and will be treated as such while they're with me.
