About: The first dog I ever met was a stray my family found in the winter—she was trying to stay warm under my dad’s truck. We had just returned from cutting wood and happened upon her all curled up and shivering. I begged my parents to keep her and am grateful they did! We named her Maddie and it was through caring for her that I learned how to properly love, train and take care of animals. I knew early on that I wanted pet-sitting to be a big part of my life. As a kid, I became the neighborhood dog walker and pet-sitter. Friends, family and neighbors would hire me for my services, sometimes for months at a time while they were away! About: We’ve grown up with dogs in our homes and have owned dogs for nearly 10 years now. We provide for all of their care, and have experienced that care from puppyhood through late adulthood. We have experience housebreaking, crate training, behavioral training, and trick/skills training. Our oldest dog, Chloe, has also experienced double CCL surgeries, so we also have experience with rehabilitation, medication issuance, and emotional support during healing. We’ve dog sat for multiple of our friends dogs who have special feeding schedules and needs that we've been able to maintain while they are with us. Given our experience, we are comfortable and confident to provide your dog with a safe and caring environment, where their needs can be met and they can have fun while you're away, playing with our dogs both in our home and in our fenced in back yard. We both work full time from home and care for our two dogs throughout the day, so your dogs will have non-stop supervision, socialization, and 2 other dogs to keep them company for their entire stay. We have two dogs currently that we have had for 9 and 3 years, that get along great with other dogs with experiences in other Rover's homes, time at The Wag (Dog Park & Bar near Grandview), having spent time at Doggy Daycares, and countless playdates with our friends' dogs through the years. We have a fenced in backyard where the dogs can play and have fun. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a large house for the dogs to run and play throughout the day. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as mobility, hearing, and visual imparments. I specialize in hyper, anxious, and reactive dogs. I also have a passion for socialization and confidence building. I am first aid and CPR certified for dogs and cats. I also have experience in oral medication administration. I currently work Monday-Friday 9pm-5am I am available in the early mornings 6-8 am and evenings 4-8 pm for drop ins and walks. I am also flexible with my availability on weekends and can accommodate most schedules. I have several years experience handling dogs and the challenges they often bring with them. I am first aid and CPR certified for dogs and cats. I always have an extra slip leash and break stick (a tool used to help safely open a dog's mouth in the event of a bite) on me in case of emergencies. From dog sitting and grooming to working at an emergency vet clinic, dogs have always had a special place with me. I understand that personal lives outside of the house can be hectic and that unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed everywhere we can go, I’m here to make sure your best friend/fur child will get the attention they need when you aren’t around and I promise not to spoil them too much. I can give grooming tips if needed and know how to train for basic commands, if needed. When entering a new clients residence I am sure to keep everything neat and tidy and make sure your pet is safe and healthy. About: My friends call me Snow White because both wild and domestic animals are always approaching me. I have always had a gift of communicating with animals. I love all animals, but have to admit cats are my favorite! I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and administering pills, topical RX and injections to both dogs and cats. In my work as a trauma informed yoga/meditation teacher and neurodiversity consultant I have acquired experience training psychiatric service dogs for PTSD and Autism. I have experience with both kittens and puppies as well as senior dogs and senior cats. My cat is my best friend - he is 14 and requires daily medication and insulin injections so I know from experience how hard it is to find someone you trust your fur baby with. I am a Columbus native who just moved back to Columbus from the PNW. I have a flexible schedule at this time. I spend my mornings in meditation, but am available from 11am on each day. I only offer drop in care/walks for cats and dogs at your home. I use low stress handling techniques and positive reinforcement training methods. I believe we are in partnership with animals - we do not own them, they are a part of our families and communities. I am happy to provide referrals upon request. My own home is my sanctuary and I treat each home I enter as a sacred space.
About: I have several neighbors that I’ve dog sat for before. I’m experienced in giving medication to senior dogs, along with providing walks and feedings plus giving them all the love they deserve. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies. I’m currently in school three days a week. While that does limit my time spent with your pups, I am still able to provide basic check ins/walks/potty breaks. I am fully available for more in depth care during the weekends. I will always make sure your pup is comfortable with me and safe. I will be sure to always keep them on leash for walks, make sure they are played with and loved, and follow whatever food routine they need.
About: I took care of my sister's dog for most of last summer and fall. I have developed strong dog-walking skills from this experience as she is quite the timid and confrontational dog. I have learned out to be extremely vigilant when walking a dog and I can read a dog's behavior as well as a human's at this point. My time management skills are par for the course and I have plenty of free time. I have plenty of free time – I have plenty of free time... there.. enough words. I have a fenced yard and beautful quiet neighborhood to walk your dog in. I can also learn the layout of any home and method for taking care of any dog by the standards of any owner within any home.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have taken care of many family members animals a lot. I've had my dog now for almost 2 years, he has pretty bad separation anxiety. My last dog I had for 5 years so I've had long time experience with my own animals as well. I've also had cats plenty of times too. This has taught me to be patient and attentive to dogs who may need extra reassurance, structure, and time to feel comfortable. I’m really comfortable with dogs and walking, feeding, playing, taking potty breaks, and giving dogs plenty of attention. I work 7-4 and my off says are Thursday and Saturday. I can watch anytime on my off says or throughout the week if possible. I come home on my breaks since i live right next door to where I work. I can only watch at my place currently since I do not have transportation. I promise the safety of you're animals I know how important it is since I have a pup of my own.
