Personalized care for your dog or cat - Franklin

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Franklin
“My little guys stayed with Joe for 6 days and as usual they had a wonderful time! He took great care of them. I’m so happy to have someone I trust that I can leave my dogs with.”

“I have a 12 yo German Shepard. He's an old man now. We were going away for New Years and our normal sitter wasn't available. I was apprehensive about leaving him with someone new. Karin was spectacular. She was attentive to his needs and careful about his 'age' related shortcomings. She has a pup of her own and a young son who loved my boy. Karin sent plenty of pics of him and was very communicative during his stay, asking questions to make sure behaviors were normal and making sure he'd tolerate the environment there! I don't know how many stays my old man has left in him, but Karin is definitely the person I'd want watching him when I leave!”

“Lady always loves staying with Catherine! She takes such good care of my pup (somehow she even convinces my dog to eat while I'm out of town...nobody else can do that!).”

About: Our home sits on 10 beautiful acres, giving dogs plenty of room to explore, run, and enjoy the outdoors. Set on a charming late-1800s Victorian farm, your pup will be surrounded by peaceful country views and the sights of friendly farm animals. It's a truly special place for dogs to play, relax, and feel right at home. My husband and I have always loved dogs, and we would be honored to care for yours while you're away. Every dog who stays with us receives lots of personal attention, affection, and exercise. We've recently added a brand-new kennel building designed with your dog's comfort and safety in mind, along with a large fenced dog run where they can stretch their legs and have fun. Weather permitting, each dog enjoys 3-4 supervised play sessions every day. Our goal is to provide plenty of both physical exercise and mental stimulation during their stay. Our barn kennels are equipped with dog doors, allowing dogs to move freely between their comfortable indoor kennel and their shaded outdoor run throughout the day until quiet hours. Whether they're playing, relaxing, or simply taking in the country air, your dog will be well cared for and thoroughly loved here. We love giving dogs the opportunity to truly be dogs each day by providing the mental and physical stimulation they need. With plenty of space for fetch, walks, and lots of outdoor fun, every day is an adventure. We offer both structured and unstructured playtime, tailored to each dog's personality and energy level. Structured activities may include fetch, frisbee, water play, leashed walks, tug-of-war, and more. We have recently built a beautiful facility with indoor/outdoor kennels, along with an expansive fenced play area where dogs can run, explore, and have fun. We always ensure that each dog enjoys at least 3-4 long, stimulating play sessions every day (weather permitting).
“Thank you Beka and Ryan, This was Sandie's first visit and she came home totally relaxed and happy. She not only made two new friends people friends, but also two new doggie friends as well !! I have already scheduled her next visit and now feel comfortable knowing we can go on our weekend trips and know that our daughter is in great hands.”

“First overnight for Marigold! Happy to say that she had a great time and was well taken care of by Sabrina and family. This is our second time with Sabrina and we will definitely use her again.”

“This was our first time using Rover and Nicole and her family was absolutely wonderful. We loved the videos and photos. It gave us such peace of mind knowing that Bella was well loved and was having a great time while we were away for the week.”

“This is the second time we used Jennifer and Jeff and our boy came home healthy and happy. They sent us an update during the day and always communicated quickly. Will absolutely use again!”

“Keyauna is very caring for my dog Sally. She took some pics of Sally for reporting how my dog doing while I’m on traveling. Will use her service again in future when I travel.”

“Lisa was great! I took my dog over to meet Lisa, her kids and dog prior to him staying there for an upcoming weekend. Meeting went great! She answered all questions about the process as this was my first time using Rover. My little dog was happy running around with her dog and kids. He stayed for a weekend and it went great. She was quick to respond to all communications. I would definitely recommend Lisa!!”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals and will care for your fur babies just as well as I care for my own. I grew up with a toy poodle though I would have loved to have more pets. Currently, my husband and I have two small dogs but I love dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with caring for older dogs as well as very young puppies. I am familiar with pad training and kennel training as well. I would love to take care of your pets and am more than willing to accommodate their needs! I stay at home full time with my 6 month old. So, my time for your pets is very flexible. I am also able to bathe and/or groom your dogs if that is a service you would like. I have a bath price set but I’m open to conversations about that and other grooming services you would like to add. I do all the grooming for my dogs including haircuts, nail clipping, and deshedding. I have two very friendly dogs, but I do have enough space/baby gates to keep my dogs separate from yours if necessary. I have a fully fenced backyard and a very walkable neighborhood. So, your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep with us in bed, but I will respect whatever pet rules you have in your home.
“Kristin took excellent care of my dog during her stay! I got lots of updates, and Xena came home tired and happy. There was a heat wave during our stay, and Kristin was very aware and careful with outside time, and I felt super safe with Xena in her care.”

“Amber watched our kitties for 5 days through drop in visits. From the start, Amber was very communicative and met us and the kitties before our trip! Every day we got at least two photos with descriptions. Amber even communicated with us through WhatsApp to make sure we received updates. It doesn’t stop there- one of our kitties is having trouble pooping in the litter box. Without trouble/hesitation, Amber assured me it wouldn’t be a problem and she made sure to take care of any messes and showed our kitty love. We are so happy that we were able relax knowing our kitties were in good hands!”

“Courtney was a great help. My babies were well taken care of and she saved me when my sitter canceled at the last minute. She is very punctual and reliable. I will definitely be using her in the future.”

About: I have loved cats my whole life. I understand that some cats are social creatures, while others may be shy, and I respect their personalities. Safety and compassion are my priorities when caring for your cat.

“Frankie was awesome! She tried so hard to get the shy one to come around, and got it done😻 She left things better than I did when we left - cat bowls washed, litter boxes spotless, refilled the water jug upstairs. 100% recommend, will definitely book again❤️”

“Caroline did a great job for a second time in a row, great communication, follow all our requests and our kitties were happy to have her visit them and feed them and take care of them. Thank you Caroline!”

“Kristi always goes above and beyond. She communicates with us on a regular basis and not just with her visit summary, but extra texts and comments about how the fur babies are doing. We will continue to use Kristi through Rover, and absolutely love her!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Franklin
About: Hi, I’m Courtney! Your dog’s new dependable best friend. With 15 years of experience working with animals, I bring a calm, confident, and caring approach to every visit. I’m comfortable with all breeds, all sizes, and all personalities — from shy seniors to energetic puppies. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have dogs and guinea pigs at home, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and understood while keeping you updated every step of the way. Pet care is naturally built into my weekly routine. I plan my schedule around my drop-ins and walks to make sure every pet gets consistent, on-time care. I check in throughout the day, send updates, and make sure each visit has my full attention. On my days off, I’m even more flexible and can offer extra visit times. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine, make sure their needs are met, keep their space clean, and give them plenty of attention. I provide calm, consistent care and always send updates each visit.
About: I own and care for a 3 year-old medium goldendoodle. He is energetic and always ready to play with any dog or human around. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I grew up with a Brittany, so I am very familiar with the personalities and instincts of hunting breeds as well. I stay at home with my one year old son, so I am available during the week days, and for extended stays/overnight boarding. We would love to care for your dog! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run. I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.
“Mckenzie was fantastic to work with and Chief enjoyed his stay and company of her pups. Mckenzie had great communication and kept me updated on Chief’s activity throughout the day, leaving me rest assured that he was doing just fine! I received several updates, photos, and even video of him enjoying his time. She offered my pup (who is older) the perfect amount of play, and rest. I hope to use her again!”

About: I have always had a dog in my life, which has given me a lifelong love for caring for animals. I enjoy playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog like family, not just as a job. I make sure their needs are met and that they feel safe, loved, and cared for at all times. I am also very patient with shy or nervous dogs and take the time to help them feel comfortable and build trust. I plan on dog sitting/ walking during all my breaks from school. I am free everyday during those breaks. The only thing that would get in my way is volleyball practices, but these are only 2 hours and not a daily thing. I make sure the pet feels comfortable around me and welcomes me into their house. If the pet is at my house I will also be welcoming and make sure they adapt to the environment.
About: Hi, I’m Trina. I’m someone who leads with compassion — especially when it comes to animals. I’ve been helping rescue and care for them since I was 13, and I still feel just as passionate now as I did when I walked into my first shelter. Whether it’s dogs, cats, rats, or any animal in need, I’m always ready to show up. I currently volunteer with my local Humane Society and have hands-on experience with everything from fostering and bottle-feeding to behavioral support. I’ve helped scared, sick, and overlooked animals feel safe and loved again — and there’s nothing more fulfilling to me. I’ve also been vegan since I was 13 because I believe in kindness toward all animals, not just the ones we share our homes with. My approach is calm, patient, and respectful. I know that trust takes time, and I never take that for granted. I’m new here and just getting started, but I’d truly love the chance to turn this kind of work into my full-time job. It would mean the world to me to earn your trust and be given opportunities to grow, help, and show what I can do. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, care, and consistency — I’d be honored to work with you. I am hoping for so this full time! As of right now I have a job 9-5 most days! Except Sunday and Monday I’m off! If I can start doing this full time, I would available all days! 7 days a week, anytime between 7am-10pm. Let’s talk about how I can help you. I provide a calm, secure space, follow routines closely, give constant supervision, and treat every pet like my own—with patience, respect, and love. I take my job very seriously and handle with so much love and care.
About: My name is Emily. I am a very outgoing pet owner and lover! I have 2 sweet dogs and 2 Guinea pigs of my own! I work at a pet hospital and also love all animals and will care for/watch any caged animals or cats/dogs. I do offer some boarding so I can be home with my kids too and give your pet lots of attention. My schedule is very open and flexible. I live in Carlisle/Franklin Ohio. About: I grew up with dogs around in my parents home. Then I bought my baby 8 years back, he is the love of my life. I was scared to keep him anywhere that’s when I decided there might be many parents who have the same feeling and I decided to start dog sitting. Now I have another 1.5 years old baby too I would prefer dog that needs potty breaks morning, afternoon and evenings on week days. Weekends is fine as I am home mostly except few Have a fenced yard , I have a 8 year dog and 1.5 year boys with whom they can run around in our big yard and my babied are sneaker so I am extra careful. Parents needn’t we worried at all I will keep them exactly like my fur babies !
“Amanda, thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Winston! He's having the best time with you, and it's great to see him interacting with other dogs for the first time. I appreciate the love, care, and attention you're giving him. The pictures you send throughout the day are the best - they always put a smile on my face! Winston comes home happy, tired, and ready for a well-deserved rest. Thanks again for all that you do!”

About: I’ve been around dogs/ animals my whole life. I grew up in North Pole, AK. Where my father and I ran siberian dog sled teams, therefore, big muscular dogs do not intimidate me nor does pulling. I’ve been the known ‘dog person’ of my family since I was a young child I was always there to pick up and play with the puppies when we had litters and now it’s become a passion of mine to take care of people’s pets as I know it can be stressful thinking about leaving our furry ones behind in a kennel with a bunch of strange dogs and people they’re not used to, so, I would love to relieve you of that stress and assure that your fur babies will be in the best hands and be well taken care of as I would expect nothing less for my own. I look forward to meeting all of your furry friends! Rover is my full time job therefore I have all of the time in the world for your furry babies. Sun rise or sun set. You can count on me! I have a dog hammock in my car with seatbelts to ensure the safe travels of your furry ones. As well as travel water bottles, food bowls, toys, and a medical kit incase we’re on a hike!
“Sabrina and her family were awesome, they were so good to Oliver and I know he had a blast because he came home and immediately passed out for the rest of the night! I definitely recommend Sabrina for all your pup watching needs!”

About: Hi my name is Caitlyn and I am a 28-year-old engineer who works from home full-time. I live in a house with my husband and toddler who both also love animals! I have been an avid animal lover since I was a child, and currently have two dogs of my own. Growing up I had many different types of pets including fish, mice, guinea pigs, chinchillas, dogs, and cats therefore I'm comfortable caring for all types of animals. I am open to pet sitting in my own home, checking in on your pet, or just getting them outside for some exercise while you're at work or elsewhere. I'm really open to anything and have flexibility because I work from home, just send me a message to ask. I understand it can be stressful when you have to leave your pet in the care of someone else so I will make sure to send updates and photos throughout the day and treat your pet as my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work from home full time so I will always be home with your dogs if you choose me for boarding. I also can use this flexibility for drop in visits or walks if you prefer that! I have two dogs of my own who are friendly and high energy so your dog will be sure to have a fun time and will return home tired! I also have the space to be able to separate dogs if necessary.
About: I am just returning to this app. I used to full time dog walk and sit through my community in Hinesville, Georgia and I am now living back in Ohio, where I am originally from. I have been caring for cats and dogs my entire life. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs, especially as my dog has had heart disease, a collapsing trachea, and arthritis for years and requires every day medication and has to eat a special diet and help going up and down stairs. I know how to properly gently lift a dog that can not fully jump or climb on their own. My eldest and most loved passed last year at 13 years old. I got her when she was a puppy and I was 16 years old and fully trained her myself and helped her through her senior years. I am self employed and only work part time and I make my own schedule. I love spending time with animals and would love to spend time with yours weekly. I walk dogs to help them release energy or anxiety etc. unless the owner prefers drop ins where I let the dogs in the yard to play. I play with their favorite toys with them to help them use their energy. I feed them the correct amount they need and give them lots of pets, cuddles and affection. I make cats feel as comfortable and happy as possible
“Catherine and Hubby are a wonderful team. They both love animals and they take such good care of my fur baby, just like she's their own. If you need care I highly recommend THEM!”

“Tim and Kasia were amazing with our Oliver! We were nervous to leave him for the first time since adopting him, he’s goes to work with us every day and he rides with us nearly everywhere but our daughters play sports and we have long weekend days away from home. They sent videos of him running around with the other dogs playing and having a blast, which was great to see because he’s a total couch potato at home. When my husband picked him up he acted like he didn’t want to leave which is out of character for Oliver because he’s usually glued to us 24/7! He loved being there and they will be our first choice whenever we need care for Oliver.”

“Parisa took great care of my German Shepard. She provided plenty of exercise for him in her shaded backyard. He came home worn out every day which tells me that he had a great day with her. She also provided daily photos and updates via text. She is friendly and loved our dog while he was in her care.”

“As a first time user of Rover we were a little nervous but Kristin was great answering our questions and caring for our puppy for the day. He went on multiple walks, the photos were nice, and knowing he was with people and not by himself for the day was the best. He slept like a baby that night too which we appreciated! Thank you!!”

About: Hello there! I have lived with and loved animals my entire life, learning to care for puppies, adult dogs and cats, rescues, and guinea pigs. I am home for the time being and work a part-time job. I am willing to work out a schedule with you and your pet. About: My mother has a dog sitting business called Your Place or Mine that I help her with regularly. I got on Rover to make some extra money while I'm in college. Furthermore, I've owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. Even now I have two of my own dogs. Since my Mom's more experienced with watching animals, she may help me with jobs from time to time. I work part-time and also go to school part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to stay with your pet(s) and check on them. I'll check on your pet(s) periodically and care for them as I'm instructed. I also have prior experience caring for older animals and animals who take oral medications or shots.
“Came over to walk my dogs on short notice due to me being sick. Was friendly and communicative and sent a photo. They both came back out of breath and went straight to their water bowls so I’d say they had a great walk.”

About: 5 years ago I fell in love with my dog Shiba Foxy, she is literally my best friend. I have trained her to be such a good family dog. With maybe a little to much begging for food, but we are not perfect! Other than that I have raised 4 kids and a cat! So what can go wrong? After a very busy life of working in the finance industry and being a district manager in the outside field, I took a step back and now work in a director position working from home. I find myself needing a bit more. I also love things that don't talk back, like kids. hehe. In my home we have a fully fenced in yard. Foxy in leashed in harnessed on walks at all times. It's important to abide by the guidelines that the customer wants you to follow, if they want their animals in a crate with food or treats then prefect. If they don't then that is what you follow.
About: I have one dog who is often spoiled with hikes, snuffle mats, sniff work, yard activities, special treats and some basic training. I'd love to spoil your pup in the same ways while we all hang out! I walk my dog almost every day. And on days I can't I make sure we do extra indoor activities or play extra in the Yard, maybe go for an extra car ride. First, I follow any instructions given by dog parents. I have a fenced in yard. As long we don't have any escape artists, pets will be able to roam the yard freely. I like to make frequent potty trips and tried to keep pets entertained in some shape or way.
About: I've had & taken care of cats & dogs since I was 7 years old! Over the past 5 years I've moved into caring for the pets of other's just as a favor to friends & family. Now I want to leave corporate America & care for furry family members professionally. I'm currently working on making pet sitting my full time job so my availability is completely open for around the clock care whether your pet is an early riser or a night owl! I prefer to care for pets in their own space as I have roommates at this time & our landlord doesn't allow pets on property.

I'm very trustworthy and I'll treat your dogs as if they're my own! I love to play with dogs, will take them for walks, or just hangout and give them a good scratch or brushing. I'm willing to do anything else you'd like so they feel comfortable, like a meet-and-greet! I've dog sat several times before and I really enjoy it! About: I train, take care of, and babysit future service dogs in training. I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have worked with all kinds of breeds, sizes, and types of dogs. I worked at a dog daycare for a semester to improve my knowledge and skills, which included handling and monitoring 15+ dogs at a time, ranging in size and aggression levels, as well as isolating and caring for their individual needs and wants amid the chaos. I love being active and going on long walks, and I love taking the 4 paws dogs on walks while working on the skills they are learning, balancing that with play and relaxation. I'm self-employed and set my own schedule, which makes me flexible and available to others' schedules. Daily walks at parks or in my neighborhood to remain active. As a 4 Paws Sitter and Handler, I encourage bringing dogs into all environments, from stores to libraries, so I usually have a dog by my side throughout daily activities, including studying, shopping, and social events with friends. I'm very adaptable in new environments. I like to keep the pets on their usual routines to avoid creating any stress or new emotions and to keep them as comfortable as possible. No issue with overnight stays if the pet needs more maintenance or attention. I make sure to get a full rundown of any issues to be aware of, as well as maintain skills or rules that the owner has
“Isabel is such a fantastic dog walker! Dependable, punctual, able to be flexible with scheduling. Plus she takes great care of your pets and sends the cutest updates and pictures.”

“First overnight for Marigold! Happy to say that she had a great time and was well taken care of by Sabrina and family. This is our second time with Sabrina and we will definitely use her again.”

“Kristin took excellent care of my dog during her stay! I got lots of updates, and Xena came home tired and happy. There was a heat wave during our stay, and Kristin was very aware and careful with outside time, and I felt super safe with Xena in her care.”
“First time using Rover and had a great experience. Ryan and his son took great care of Cerby and he came back home happy and playful as ever. Will definitely schedule with them again!”

“Tim & Kasia are absolutely amazing!! They have a calming energy and spirit that can be felt. They genuinely care ahout the pets they board. Our dog, Ozzy, who is sometimes rambunctious, high strung and not always keen to meeting new people, was their guest for 19 days. Tim and Kasia were patient with Ozzy as he became more comfortable and trusting. They didn't force themselves on him. They gave him space to explore their fantastic fenced in yard, showed him affection once he allowed it, played fetch with his favorite toy and gave him the attention he needed once he settled in. Tim and Kasia sent us daily videos and were open and thankful for input or suggestions. I highly recommend this lovely couple! They will be our "go to" anytime we need care.”

“I would definitely use Caitlin again as a place to board my dog Millie! Millie took to Caitlin at our first meet and greet, and acted like she belonged there. Caitlin sent multiple pictures and updates, and was very prompt answering any question I had. Millie came home a happy and healthy dog!”

“We had a family emergency and Caitlyn was so great working with us on scheduling and scheduling changes. We really appreciate her support over the last few weeks!! Thanks again!!”

“Alysia was great with Amos! She was thoughtful about how she introduced him to her dogs and allowed me to hang around for a little while while she did so. She commented well and sent updates. Amos seemed happy and comfortable with her in her home. I would be glad to have her keep him again!”

“Emily and Kris were phenomenal! My golden retriever (4) and Aussie (5) both adored them and their son, so much so that my golden almost flat out refused to leave when we came to pick her up lol. Emily really came in clutch when My Aussie, who has a daredevil streak, ran into a branch while playing frisbee and gave herself a boo-boo under her eye. Emily took her to the vet and called me so I could be there for the appointment too, and Emily and Criz both gave Lucy her eye drops morning and night. I couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter and I hope that my dogs will hang out again with them in the future.”

“Catherine and Adam are incredible! Our pup got sick while we were away and they went way above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable. Can't recommend them enough!”
