About: Hi there! My name is Bri and through the years I have cared for a wide variety of dogs - family pets, fosters, medically fragile/complex, puppies, extremely timid, and senior. I took my grandma's 10-year-old dog in and cared for her until she passed at 18-and-a-half years old. I also fostered a mama and her six puppies (all had ringworm) that were each adopted out to amazing families and then I adopted the mom (Layla) who is still with me today! About: We have watched many pets over the years and are finally bringing our love to the masses. :) We truly love all animals (every where we have lived animals indoor/outdoor just flock to us it seems ha). We give them the care they deserve and treat every last one as if it were our own personal pet. We have also had several pets through the years that needed medical attention daily (generally giving medication) and understand the importance of maintaining medicine/medical care in a very timely manner. About: I am a huge animal lover! I currently have an 12 year old Goldendoodle named Stella. I have had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine ever being without one! I love taking Stella to dog parks, going for walks, or hanging out around town. I would love to do the same with any dog that I would be watching! I have a lot of flexibility on the weekends and could check in multiple times during the day. Weekday evenings are best, normally 5pm and after. About: I worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over 20 years and just recently decided to stay home with my kids full time. About: I am a very passionate, attentive, and empathetic person when it comes to any and all animals! For many years I have taken sole care of both dogs and cats of all different breeds, and am well experienced in all general pet care to include special needs pets. All of the dogs I ever had as a kid were trained as puppies almost solely by myself and my brothers. My mom used to make me read books and do online research about the breed of dog we had, different training techniques, K9 first-aid, and so much more. Being as passionate as I am about animals, those studies were well retained, and while I don't have professional experience, the knowledge gained from doing it on my own with 9 different dogs over my lifetime have graced me with at the very least, an in depth knowledge of all different stages of dog ownership. This knowledge was also accentuated professionally as I worked alongside military police K9 handlers during my time in the Air Force. Not to worry though, I mix structure, routine, and discipline with plenty of tender loving care, and know how to tune my approach to dogs of all temperaments. In regards to puppies: I have experience potty training, leash training, crate training, and what I would call experienced but moderate obedience training skills. I know how to deal with things like food aggression, how to properly establish the "hierarchy" or "pack mentality" and other conditioning behaviors. As well as handling young puppies, I've even assisted a momma in giving birth to a new litter, and taking special care of a brand new litter of 7 pups! So my experience with all dogs truly does begin at birth and goes all the way to end of life care. For the old timers: The couch potatoes in our lives need just as much, and sometimes even more care than their energetic and young counterparts. I have experience with things like giving medication and shots, managing specialty diets, and a number of other age specific needs. I'm very patient and am willing to take the time to get to know your pet and what they need. Every animal has a different personality and needs attention in different ways, and I'm very attentive to that! I will always treat your pet as if they were my own, and will to the best of my ability make sure that your pet is well taken care of at all times. I'm a full-time nomad and side gigs are my primary source of income. Pet care IS my weekly routine. I'm available and more than happy to abide by the normal 9-5 schedule for daytime pet care, but I can also easily adjust to fit any alternate schedule; whether you need overnight pet care, or any other odd schedule constraints met, I am available. I have lived with my own dog in a variety of different conditions. From being on our own in both houses and apartments, to having a full house of dogs and cats. “I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”
