About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and helped at the local vet clinic growing up. My last dog passed away from heart failure in 2022. It’s a busy time for my sons activities so it’s not a good time to bring a full time dog into our home at this time but would love to help others out. I work full time outside the home M-TH from 8-3 and half day Fridays (occasional Fridays totally free). I am willing to be flexible with week day stays if they can manage being alone during those hours. Our yard is unfenced but I would walk or chain them out depending on owner preference. They would be treated like they were my own.

About: Hey there! My name is Caroline, I grew up in Texas with four dogs ranging in breeds from shitzu, golden retriever, Bassett hound, and corgi, with ranging ages and special needs. I am trained and able to administer any medication needed, from daily pills to administering Valium for epileptic animals. I currently am active duty military stationed at Wright-Patt and have one very large and lovable yellow lab/golden retriever mix of my own, Tanner. I am flexible with drop in times as I can work with my schedule during the week, however I ask at least a days in advance notice so I can properly plan out the day to play with, feed, and walk your fur babies. Weekends play dates are the most flexible as I work a standard 8-4 job most weeks, but I can flex with weekday visits when needed. “I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I also have a back yard with a lead allowing your dog to run around without being hand held on a leash for every potty break. I ask that you bring their food, bowls, litter, and litter boxes and any other special items they may need. Same goes for any dogs :) I have worked as a foster for shelters in Columbus for three years as well, so I am used to providing 24/7 care for other animals. I work from home full time, so I am able to have a very flexible schedule. If you need your animal cared for in my home, I am able to provide that service. I get off of work in the early evening, which gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits after work. My yard is fenced in, which is great for your doggie kiddos. I also do not let my cats outdoors, so any cat staying with me will be safe in the home. I have a dedicated room in our home where I house all of my rover guests away from our pets. Small dogs are okay to be boarded in my home, as well as any cats as long as they are litter box trained.

Your dog is guaranteed to be well taken care of, some may even say spoiled, at my house. I even have my own furry friend to keep them company & worn out. I currently am on leave from work until the end of June, leaving me home 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! Meaning ultimate snuggle time and plenty of hanging out with the doggos. I have unlimited water available for dogs whenever they need. My backyard has a 4-foot tall chain link fence , perfect for dogs to run around and play in as much as they want. My house is very dog friendly—dogs are allowed on the furniture and in any room they please. While I do have a 2 year old daughter at home, I am very consistent with teaching her to leave the dogs alone , even our own. Dogs should have personal space , and a break when needed. Also, your dog MUST be friendly with young children, I do take my own precautions but having a patient/friendly dog is the start.

Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.

My parents travel a lot and rely on me to be with the dogs 24/7 which I gladly do. I make sure to take them on walks (long enough that their little legs can handle). I’ve realized that a lot more dogs than expected have separation anxiety, so I always try to be as present as possible for them! The same applies for cats. I understand cats can vary when it comes to personality and temperament, and that has helped me understand the best approaches for them and how to interact in a way that is respectful to them.

About: I've cared for and trained dogs since I was 5 years old, from dogs small enough to fit in your purse to Great Danes! Feeding, bathing, walking, clipping nails, brushing, the whole nine yards. I work in the gig economy, so my schedule is mine to fit and mold to my whim with the exception of friend and family needs. If your pet is in my care, you can rest assured that they will be my top priority. I live in an inclusive community village with a friendly senior dog (and two cats from my roommate). There's many walkways to explore with zero risk of the road.
