“Really appreciate Melissa's flexibility and responsiveness for our last minute booking. She took great care of our pup, with regular pictures/updates, plenty of playtime with other dogs, and plenty of love from the humans in the home as well. We would definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Taylor and Brian were phenomenal in helping to take care of our miniature schnauzer, Hugo! Their candid pictures and check-ins made us feel like we were not far from Hugo; although we were several states away. I can’t thank them enough for giving us piece of mind! We will definitely board with them again!”

“Want to drop a note of love for Tasha & Joe... my 2 boys have been going to them for almost 4 years now, and I can always rest easy knowing they are in a great home with attentive owners, and other fur friends too. I always appreciate the picture updates they provide too. They're the best!!”

“Katie did such a great job watching Reggie while my husband and I were out of town for a few days! We received plenty of updates and could tell he was well taken care of when we picked him up. Will definitely be using Katie again!”

“John and his wife Kelly took awesome care of our senior pup. They were fast with communication, gave her meds, and were very loving towards our girl. We will use them again!”

“Teah and Eric were great with my puppy, a 13 week old golden doodle named Ozzy. I’ve never had a dog before, let alone a puppy, and I was of course more than anxious about leaving Ozzy overnight somewhere he’s never been! Teah assured me he’d be fine, and he was! He made buds right away with Teah’s two pups, and had a grand old time playing in the huge fenced-in backyard. Many pictures were sent to me during Ozzy’s stay and I really appreciated that constant communication assuring me he was having fun. Teah was also awesome at making sure Ozzy was crated and comfortable at night and fed three times a day to be consistent with my training. I’ve already booked Teah for future dog boarding and I feel lucky that I found her! ?”
“Colleen was amazing with our pup! She was quick to respond to the initial request and was extremely accommodating for a quick meet & greet before confirming the booking (ensuring that we had peace of mind that our pup would be a good fit with her family!) During our time away, she kept us updated with lots of fun pics, which we loved! Roo seemed to have so much fun while we were gone that I'm not sure she wanted to come home!!! We are certain that if we're heading out of town again, we'll check with Colleen first before going to anyone else!”

“We took our Lagatto to Janet for a couple days while we had to go out of town. Janet was a wonderful host to Bella, who got along superbly with her own dog Roman and they became best of friends. Janet kept us updated throughout the day on how Bella was behaving which included numerous photos. We couldn't be more happy to trust Janet with our Bella and we will definitely will be using her again in the future. Highly recommend Janet!”

“Boarding with Katie was great! We boarded our dog for my wedding and she sent pictures of him during his stay showing he was having fun. He definitely had a ton of fun and slept all day when we picked him up”

“Ainura was absolutely amazing! I had to find a sitter for my new puppy on very short notice and she responded super fast and accepted the job. It was my first time using the Rover app and I’m so grateful it worked out so well. She took incredible care of little Khaleesi and sent loads of photos showing her playing and having a great time for the week. I’m definitely reaching out to Ainura next time I need a sitter :)”

“Kenny was wonderful with Max. You can tell he truly loves dogs and treats your dog as his own. Kenny paid attention to details and sent lots of updates. We will definitely book with Kenny again next time we need a place for Max to stay!”

“Megan was awesome! She was flexible with our schedule and we loved that she was always responsive. Megan and her son gave our cat a lot of attention, care, and cuddles while we were gone and we definitely recommend her!”

“Elisheba and her family took Ember in and were very kind. Thank you for the hospitality and the great care at a last minute notice. Ember loved the yard and enjoyed having extra people to play with her, it takes a village!”

“Misty was phenomenal with our dog Samson. He's a big dog and she walked him, she cared for him she took pictures of him. Wow, I was so impressed and felt so comfortable her. Misty's children loved on him. It was a beautiful experience and I will definitely use her as many times as I can!”

“She was an amazing sitter! She took WONDERFUL care of my Google and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. She even threw him a birthday party! She took him on regular walks and even went to the dog park. She sent me plenty of pictures and videos. She gave him tons of treats and hugs and kisses! I will definitely board with Rodriguez again!! Thank you so much!! 💗💗”

“Bradley was amazing with Chinook and Apache! They had a great time during their stay—Bradley kept me updated with plenty of pictures, and the boys looked so happy when I picked them up. Now they’re both passed out asleep at home, which tells me they had a fun and active time! I’ll definitely be booking with Bradley again. Highly recommend!”

“We really appreciate all that Elizabeth does for us! She is great with our cat and is so communicative with us while she is cat-sitting and beforehand. The first time she sat for us, she came over beforehand to get familiar with our cat and our space, which helped put our mind at ease’s. We’ve used her a handful of times since the first time and each time, she goes above and beyond. Would recommend her to anyone!”

About: As a rising third-year veterinary student at the University of Illinois, I have extensive hands-on experience working with cats in both clinical and home settings. My veterinary training has taught me how to safely and calmly handle cats of all personalities—including shy, anxious, senior, high-energy, and more independent cats—while paying close attention to their comfort and stress levels. I understand that cats thrive on routine and familiar environments, so I strive to make their care as low-stress and personalized as possible while you’re away. I am comfortable with feeding routines, medications, litter box care, enrichment, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior or health that cats can sometimes hide. Beyond my clinical experience, I genuinely love taking the time to build trust with each cat at their own pace. Whether your cat enjoys playtime and attention or prefers quiet companionship and patience, I will adapt my care to fit their individual personality and needs. My goal is always to make both you and your cat feel safe, comfortable, and confident while they are in my care.

“Lauren accommodated a last minute booking for us! We have two cats, one of which can be a bit particular and both need to take pills which Lauren made sure they got. I had also found a kitten right before our last minute trip and Lauren also kept her quarantined and make sure she got her medicine as well. Thanks so much for taking great care of everyone!”

“Nina did an outstanding job taking care of our bunny. She was very attentive and prompt with messages/updates. She made our first experience with Rover an excellent one, and we will definitely seek her help again in the future.”

“Sarah took great care of our very shy Charley! He hid from her for the first few visits but they became huge playtime pals on visit #3 and thereafter. In addition to Charley’s fun and games, Sarah watered indoor and outdoor plants, filled our bird feeders and kept a close eye on our home. I just hope we can get Sarah again the next time we travel!”

“We booked for a second time with Elizabeth, and much like the first we have nothing but good things to say. Our two boys love her, and she takes very good care of the house while we are away.”

“Daniel recently provided drop-in visits for our daughter's cat Milo while we were on a family hiking trip. His pics of Milo showed how happy Milo was to see him, and when we returned home it was obvious Milo was much more at ease compared to other times we were away. We've also had Daniel pet sit for our dogs in the past, and he really creates a fast bond with them. We're so thankful to have someone as reliable and attentive as Daniel to care for our pets!”

“Ashley and Trinity are super helpful and have great communication. They provided great notes during our vacation. They took care of our two cats, we enjoyed the pictures they sent from all their visits. Our cats love them. Thank you Ashley and Trinity!”

About: I grew up with cats (and dogs, birds, and fish, later adding hamsters to the mix). Fluffy (a white Persian mix) and Tiger (a striped orange shorthair) were my childhood cats. Aside from college, I have made cats a part of my family most of my life. Almost all have been rescues - Missy was a calico a friend found near her home and brought to me. Smokey came from the local PAWS shelter and he and Missy bonded like an older sister and baby brother. Annie and Felix (mine and my daughter’s current cats) were found with two other siblings, left in a Dayton area park when they were approximately 4 weeks old. They are now almost 9 years old and we have been blessed to have them as a part of our family. Felix was my daughter’s support pet in college - she was one of the many youth that had to navigate COVID restrictions as a student. And Annie is my fur baby. I have cared for a cat with kidney disease (Missy) and with special diet and saline injections, was able to maintain her quality of life and give her a loving home for many years. I will treat your feline as a member of my family and provide the best care possible with updates to let you know your pet is enjoying a caring environment.

About: I have 5 cats ranging in ages 2 to 12years old. One being absolutely terrified of humans. I worked with her using patience and consistency, eventually earning her trust, affections and companionship. Nothing more rewarding than earning their trust. The 12 year old was a stray that I quarantined and then took to the vet for complete check up, slowly introduced her to the rest of my crew. She’s both Spicey and Sweet! I won’t shy away from any cat temperament.

About: I've taken care of cats of all ages and in many different contexts. I have taken care of house cats, farm cats, and shelters cats, from young kittens to senior animals. I love getting to know each cat: their personality, likes and dislikes, and how they interact with the world. I treat each cat like the individual they are and get to know their particular care and routine. I do the best I can to help cats I care for to feel comfortable and safe.

“Leo went to his first daycare with Katie and he loved it! She greeted him at the door and welcomed him and made sure the other pups were away so he wouldn't be overwhelmed walking in. He loved it and can't wait for his next stay! He was definitely tuckered out from all the fun he had playing with the other pups. You can tell Katie knows how to handle things and is a dog-lover. We're so glad we found her!”

“Joe and Laurie watched our 2-year old, Shih Poo and had a great time. We found Joe and Laurie on Rover as we were looking to establish a good relationship with a sitter for future times but most importantly before we go on vacation. We were sent multiple pictures and updates throughout the day and could tell our pup was having a great time. She went on walks, hung out outside, and relaxed. I was never worried throughout the day and would definitely recommend them to anyone.”

“Kayla and her partner were wonderful with our dachshund. We needed doggie daycare while attending an event. Kayla was excellent to work with and took great care of our little baby. Highly recommend.”

“Jen & Rob took such great care of my dog for day care weekly. He always came home happy, healthy, and exhausted (thank god, he is a high energy Aussie and needed to expel that energy!). Thank you, Jen & Rob for being a safe place for me to bring my dog!”

About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for over 20 years and truly enjoy being around them. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with different personalities — from energetic pups to more anxious or senior pets. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding in my home. I do have a cat, and he is used to being around dogs, but I always prioritize safety and comfort for everyone. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home and structure my schedule intentionally, so I’m able to provide consistent walks, feeding times, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins, and when boarding, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I value routine and make sure each pet’s normal schedule is maintained to help them feel comfortable and secure. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood with my son (7 YO) and our cat, Toto. While our backyard is not fenced, dogs are always leashed for outdoor time and walks. We have great sidewalks and a quiet area that’s ideal for daily exercise. Inside the home, I provide a calm and supervised environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s comfort level and always prioritize safety, clear communication with owners, and following specific care instructions. I’m also happy to schedule meet-and-greets beforehand to ensure everyone feels confident.

About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. I am able to provide exercise time, medication administration, ear cleaning, and basic grooming. If you are in need of any of the above services feel free to reach out to me. I would love to get to know you and your fur babies and develop a life long bond. Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly. I'm always with pets even in my dreams. Rather I am walking pets or meeting up for grooming appointments, I'm always with pets. I get a background of the pets home life and mimic that while they are with me. Routine works best with most pets. When you switch up what they are used to they do not do well.
“Alij is such a sweet and caring sitter. She kept me updated and made me feel comfortable while I was away from my dogs. I’m so grateful for the great care she gave them, and I’ll definitely be booking her again.”

About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I have been helping take care of dogs since we got our first family dog when I was in kindergarten. I loved dogs so much, that I began making and selling my own dog treats when I was in grade school. Since then, I have helped dog sit for my older sisters dogs as well as family friends. I have done everything from overnights at their houses to checking in on their fur babies to feed and play with them. I have also been fostering dogs through SAAP since March 2020. I have my own fouryear old dog named Niko. He absolutely loves other dogs and loves to play. We have a huge, fenced yard that he loves to roam. I would love to get the chance to meet your dogs and help give them all the love and attention they deserve!
“Jessica and David were so kind and accommodating of my last minute request! They took excellent care of my dog Bruno and made sure to update me throughout the day so I knew he was having a good time”

When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do everything I can to maintain their normal routine and create a stress-free environment. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk times, medication, or bedtime routines—and I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, preferences, and quirks. I always treat your home with respect, keep things clean, and make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you're away. If I’m providing care in my own home (depending on the service), I offer a calm, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. In both settings, communication is key—I’ll keep you updated with regular messages, photos, and videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I grew up on a dairy farm and have always had cats and dogs around. My kids are excited to learn some responsibility through animal care along with my supervision and spend time with dogs. About: As a rising third-year veterinary student at the University of Illinois, I bring both professional training and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for. Through my veterinary education and hands-on clinical experience, I have worked with animals of many breeds, sizes, ages, energy levels, and temperaments—including shy, anxious, high-energy, and senior pets. My experience has taught me how to safely handle animals, recognize signs of stress or illness, and adapt my approach to each pet’s individual personality and needs. Whether your pet loves playtime and attention or prefers a calmer, quieter environment, I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and have experience with feeding routines, medications, and providing patient, attentive care. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable, communicative, and trustworthy, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated so you can feel confident they are in good hands. My schedule is very flexible this summer! I am currently working part-time and participating in some veterinary shadowing experiences, but outside of that I have wide availability for pet care. I am available most weekends and have flexibility throughout the week, especially during mornings and evenings. I’m happy to work with owners to find times that best fit their pet’s routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a veterinary student, I have experience recognizing signs of stress, illness, and discomfort in animals and understand the importance of careful, attentive care. I strive to create a calm and positive environment for every pet while respecting their normal routines and boundaries. I know how important trust is when someone else is caring for your pet, so I will always communicate clearly, provide updates, and treat your pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra patience, I am committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Susan helped me take care of my dogs while I was in Europe. It was great to know my dogs were getting quality care from an experienced professional. I highly recommend!”

“Daniel was amazing! We needed someone who has a lot of experience and could confidently care for multiple 40-50 lb dogs with various medical and anxiety/behavioral needs. Daniel was impressive! He took a good amount of time to meet with us and learn our dogs habits, personalities and quirks, and the commands we use with them. He had no issues walking our 3 dogs together, acknowledging them and giving them treats along the way. The dogs were very comfortable with Daniel, happy with thier walk, and responded well to his commands. My rescue dog who is wary of strangers even gave him kisses after their walk. On the 2nd walk, the dogs got very barky and excited when Daniel arrived and he was calm and confident and got them settled down and leashed with ease. We've had many pet sitters over the years and Daniel shines above all of them. His communication skills are excellent, he actively listens, very observant, understands the dogs, and overall seems like a natural who "knows what to do" to provide excellent care of our pets.”

About: Hello, I have a good amount of experience with both dogs and cats. With dogs I have had them around my whole life my parents had me taking care of them as soon as I could I have worked with dogs of all ages, 8 months to the more matured 15 years. with cats I also have a good range some as young as 4 months to as old as you can imagine. For dogs I love taking them for walks, or just hanging out. With cats they usually entertain themselves with what ever I am doing. I am volunteering at an animal shelter so I have plenty of time to hang out with your best buds! I am currently a student at the University of Cincinnati my aqueduct runs from 10:00 am- 3:00pm and other than that my time is committed to your pet The most resent dogs that I had one was 15 years old and she would mostly lay in the sun all day she would wake up at 6 a.m. and I would pick her up and immediately take her outside and then feed her. The other one was about 1 year old and she would sleep down stairs because if she did not she would eat everything upstairs. She would get up around the same time, sometimes she would get up earlier than that and have to go potty and I would get up then and let her out. I would feed her at the same time. After the older was finished eating she would go back outside for just a little bit with my other dog and then I would taker her back upstairs and she would usually sleep the day away. The puppy however we would play just a little bit outside and then she would get sleepy and go to sleep for a little. This is the time I took to get the house cleaned up a little after she would wake up I would let both of the dogs out. When the puppy got a little older she would just follow me around the house, she liked to cook with me, we would go for walks or rides together. Once it was time for dinner I would feed them both take them both out and then the puppy would play more until she got tired and we got ready for bed. For cats he would wake me up around 6 to get fed breakfast and they he would go on about his business, following me around when he wanted to, he also enjoyed to cook. Sometimes he enjoyed playing but he really entertained himself. I would feed him around 6 pm and then we would go to sleep together.

I will be available most holidays as well. I clean up after them if there are any accidents. I will ensure they have food and water when allowed per instructions. About: Home away from home care for your pet when you are out of town or just need a staycation. Plenty of room to play indoors and outdoors in our fenced in backyard. Flexible drop off and pickup hours. Lots of hugs and love to make your four legged child feel like he or she is at home while you are away. Keep your pet on their normal schedule. Personalized care for your pet. Check in at any time to see how your pet is doing and receive daily text and video updates of your pet. I would love to host your pet in our home or drop in to your home to care for your pet. Please do not hesitate to text or email me with questions on pet boarding and sitting options that I provide. My weekly schedule is flexible, so I am able to give your pet much time and attention during the week and on weekends when they stay in my home. My partner, who also has over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, works with me to care for your pet. We alternate times during the day to care for your pet so that he/she has full time care and each of us has time to tend to other duties. We ensure that dogs and puppies in our home are supervised at all times. We allow each adult pet the space to roam freely and close off any rooms or areas we want restricted. With puppies, we restrict them to the room where we are as we like to closely monitor the babies. If we have multiple dogs/puppies in the home during your pets visit, feeding and potty breaks are done separately. We may crate or restrict a pets access to roam if we are receiving another guest pet or person 🙂 or if we have to run out of the home to run an errand. We try and follow your indicated pets schedule as closely as possible. You can assured that your pet will receive lots of love and attention while in our home.
About: Hi! I offer my home as a second home for your babies. When you go on vacation, or maybe out for work, I’m sure you want to leave your dog in the best care possible. I live very close to Summit Park. As long as I can remember, I have loved and cared for dogs. I started with my family’s and friends’ dogs, until my parents gave me my first best friend, Lenon (he is currently 18 years old). My parents taught me responsibility and the importance of taking good care of them, and I take that very seriously. I volunteered at an animal shelter near home, helping rescue, heal, and foster homeless dogs. Then came Ringo, an abused dog that we adopted when he was one year old and today he is 8 years old. (Both are with my mom). I take care of dogs out of love; for me it’s not a business. However, that income helped me reconnect with my dog and support shelters in need. When I take care of your dog, he/she will receive the best personalized attention possible. No matter the size, everyone is welcome. We have a beautiful home with plenty of space and a large fenced yard where they can sniff around, play, and do their business, always in good company. I promise to pamper him and care for him as if he were my own. I will send you photos of the walks, when he eats, or whenever you would like. You can also make a video call to see him better. It is a pleasure for me to take care of your babies. I speak Spanish, understand a little English, and have no problem communicating. About: I love engaging with different pets. Snuggly and sleepy ones or ones that want to run! I am very adaptable to meet the needs of your furry (or scaly) friend(s) I am happy to provide care to more exotic pets like bunnies, rodents, fish, lizards, geckos, snakes, etc. I currently work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:30am-6pm only a 20 min from deer park high school ! I aim for a walk almost everyday I love the area ! I have a fenced in back yard, I feel comfortable getting furry friends in and out of crates, and happy to follow any schedule or specifications you have !
About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, from raising pitbulls to boxers to chihuahuas! I’ve also pet sat for multiple family members and neighbors growing up. I am currently a student at the university of cincinnati, looking to make some extra cash doing things i enjoy! In between classes or overnight stays would be a perfect schedule for me! I only have about 3-4 hours of classes each day. I constantly miss my furry family members back home and would love to put you at ease knowing yours are in good hands. I am open to doing anything from walking to feeding to bathing. Also providing your pet with lots as love as long as they’re open to accepting it!

About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.
About: I have always grown up around dogs and have a puppy currently! We take walks everyday and I spend generous amounts of time outside playing. I enjoy being around dogs especially and love to play and give them plenty of love! I currently have a part time job and am a student in college. However, I will have plenty of time for your puppy. I’m available during the week and weekends, but this may vary. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for playing and zoomies! I always enjoy a good walk and make sure pets get lots of exercise, attention, safe, loving environment while in my care.

“Really appreciate Melissa's flexibility and responsiveness for our last minute booking. She took great care of our pup, with regular pictures/updates, plenty of playtime with other dogs, and plenty of love from the humans in the home as well. We would definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Michael and Anne were nothing short of fantastic! They took such great care of my dog. They were very focused on details and making sure they knew and had everything they needed to give him a good stay ahead of time. They sent pictures and updates throughout each day during his stay. They exercised him 3 mi each morning when weather would permit. The attention to detail, great communication, and exceptional care for my dog ensures that I will definitely be working with them again for care for my dog. I can't recommend the more highly!”

“Want to drop a note of love for Tasha & Joe... my 2 boys have been going to them for almost 4 years now, and I can always rest easy knowing they are in a great home with attentive owners, and other fur friends too. I always appreciate the picture updates they provide too. They're the best!!”
