About: Hi there, my name is Kristen and I have a slight dog obsession. November 2025 started year five of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. For boarding and daycare we are located on 30 acres in Tipp City, with 6 private fully fenced dog parks to choose from. We have 10 kennels, and pups are kenneled during enrichment and overnight with an on-site team member who stays with them. Disney Channel + YouTube classical music plays while pups rest in their kennels between private park playtime and playgroup. “Ashlyn was very attentive to my dog and very accommodating. My puppy felt comfortable with her. She has a fenced doggy park in her complex so it’s very safe. She updated me and was quickly responsive. I would definitely use her services again. My puppy is high energy and by the time I picked her up she was happy to see me and went straight to bed. I recommend Ashlyn since she’s on top of what your dog needs. Especially love and care.”

“Kyri was fantastic, lots of communication, wonderful home, great personality, no complaints at all, I dare say Buck wants to go back and have more fun with friends”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my strong experience working with dogs and puppies of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pets belonging to family and friends, which helped me build a solid foundation of hands-on experience with dogs in everyday home environments. I’m especially comfortable with puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need while learning routines like potty training, crate training, leash walking, and basic commands. I also enjoy helping reinforce positive behaviors through structure, repetition, and lots of encouragement. For adult dogs, I adapt easily to their personality—whether they are high-energy and need plenty of exercise or more relaxed and prefer a calm routine. I also have experience with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, and extra attention to comfort and mobility. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and behavioral cues, so they feel secure and understood while in my care. My goal is always to create a safe, trusting environment where dogs feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially with my availability in the afternoons and evenings. Since I work part time, I have ample time during the day to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I enjoy spending my evenings going on walks, which would make it easy and consistent for me to provide daily exercise and outdoor time. I also look forward to using my free time for play, feeding, and bonding activities that help build trust and comfort with pets. In my home or a client’s home, I provide pet care with consistency, attentiveness, and respect for the animal’s routine and comfort level. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication instructions if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. I make sure pets always have fresh water, regular meals, and a clean, safe environment. I prioritize daily exercise and enrichment through walks, playtime, and interaction suited to the pet’s age, energy level, and personality. I also focus on building trust through calm, patient handling and positive attention. In a client’s home, I am mindful of maintaining the space exactly as instructed, keeping things clean and secure, and making sure the pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand the importance of routine, so I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for the pet while their owner is away. Overall, my approach is to care for each pet as if they were my own—providing reliable, loving, and responsible care tailored to their individual needs
“Amber was a great sitter for our beagle! We were on a cruise so couldn’t always get cell reception but anytime I would there would be a picture and update on how he was doing. Will happily use her anytime I need a sitter. 😊”

“First time using rover and I couldn’t imagine picking another dog sitter for my dog Spike who absolutely had a great week stay with Karen. I needed a extra day for him to stay on short notice and it was no problem for her to make the adjustments. She really is good at this and makes your pet feel at home and as pet owner made me feel very comfortable on how she handles her service. Karen has lots of space for pets and also lots of love for them as well. I know my dog can’t wait to go back, I would recommend her to anyone GREAT SERVICE!!!”

“I highly recommend Jessica! It was obvious she is a ‘dog whisperer’, gentle soul, who will make your dog feel like they are at home! She sent daily photos, videos, updates, gave my dog her monthly & quarterly medication, provided her a comfy crate to sleep in, and a kiddy pool filled with strawberries! And there’s 3 dog friends to bond with! My fur baby had a loving spa experience! Book with Jessica!”

“Taylor was so great! She came right at the times requested which I really appreciated as he is a puppy and I don’t like to leave him crated for long. I loved the picture updates and knew he was in great hands! I love that she played with him too. 🙂 That was a long day for Ruger but was calm and happy when everyone got home. We will definitely have Taylor back again!”

“Shelbi was wonderful. Every time she visited with my older cats she sent very detailed notes about how they were doing . She is quite conscientious about their needs & let me know any information she thought important. Visited my cats exactly at the times I requested. Awesome communicator. Definitely will use her in the future.”

“Kayla was awesome! My dogs are very “needy” (lol) and require a lot of time and attention. I needed a day where I could just solely focus on work and getting things done. Also, they hadn’t had a bath or groomed in awhile and their fur was starting to get matted so thought I’d get that done also. I messaged Kayla asking if she was available that week to watch them/bath & brush them. She offered to take them immediately that day! She was very nice when I met her and made me feel comfortable. She took so much care and time with grooming them while also making sure they were comfortable to make sure that she got all the matts out that she actually kept them until 9pm with no extra charge. She also kept me updated every step of the way. My boys came home so soft and clean and I could also tell she tired them out because they both came home and went straight to sleep. She sent me lots of photos of them playing which made me happy to know that they had a great time!”

“Taylor has been fantastic. We have used her for the past couple weeks with no problems. Great communication and I know the dogs love seeing her when she comes. We will continue to use her as long as she continues to want to help us. Thank you Taylor.”

About: Started working with dogs when I was in my early twenties. I stated out as a dog bather and pet care at Petsmart. I then started spending my free time at Sunrise Sanctuary taking care of their rescued livestock. The job that taught me so much was being a dog warden. I learned how to handle emergency calls but also took care of the dogs at the shelter. I work a fun and open schedule so I have more flexibility on dog or cat sitting time frame. My dogs wake me up bright and early at 5am and going to bed around 10pm. So I’m able to check in on dogs within that big time frame. I have a 6 foot wooden privacy fence that I will allow my dogs to go outside in for potty breaks to the dogs playing in the puppy pool. Dogs will not unattended while in the yard.
“Emma was great with our dogs, however. We met with her prior to booking so we could get to know her and our dogs could meet her as well. We spoke about the time being 12noon and that was not a problem. The first day (Monday) she was here on time, the next 3 days she arrived at 1pm. 1 hr later then discussed. Then Friday morning she texted us stating she was stuck at a house she was cleaning and was not gonna be able to make it. My wife had to rush from work in Sidney to take them out, then rush back. Keep in mind we had already paid for the entire week.”

“Shelbi is magic. She tamed our spicy potato dog and was able to get her to walk. Sometimes Meena does not like letting strangers put her leash on. 10/10 for Shelbi. Such a sweet and amazing person for our pets.”

“Ashley is an amazing person! She does a wonderful job with my 2 dogs and is very dependable. I know my dogs will have their walk and they love her. She is very communicative and accommodating as well. Always letting us know of any delays or upcoming changes in schedule. We really appreciate her and are glad she is our dog walker.”

I have my own car as well so I should be able to make it anywhere, anytime. I look for the animals comfortable spot and learn what toys they like the most. I spend as much time as the animal wants enjoying their company and playing fetch with their favorite toy.

When I am not at the hospital, I am most likely in the yard playing with Tito and Blue! My days start early with my own dogs, with long early walks & play time, as well as medications when needed! I love getting an early start to the day to help set us up for success all day. I have two incredibly loving dogs at my home who love other animals! When it comes to home visits, I am always flexible in whatever your requests/preferences are. Whether it be long walks, a local park, a fenced in yard, etc.!

About: I have 10+ years of experience in caring for dogs and absolutely adore animals (especially dogs)! I have 2 dogs, one a rescue and they are my entire world, and I would love to bring that energy to your sweet fur baby! I have house sat for several pets over the years as well as checked in, walked, and played with to ensure enrichment and that they don't get lonely! I would love the opportunity to help you care for your sweet creatures! I have a very flexible schedule and am available at most hours of the day and just about any day of the week, to check in on your furbaby! In my home, my dogs are my world. They are played with and walked each day, they have a structured diet, and they are ALWAYS allowed to snuggle on the couch (although I respect if this is not the case in your home)! I greet my dogs and other pets with love and joy. I ensure water is always available, and that they have access to the window so that they can watch outside while I am away. I firmly believe in using all of these when taking care of any pet!

About: My family has had a dog since before we were married, almost 29 years ago. We lost our last German Shepherd, Greta, in June of 2025. While this has left a huge hole in my heart, I don't feel like we are to a place where we can open our home permanently to another. We will get there but not yet. In the meantime, I'd love to love on your pup! We have had GSD's or GSD mixes for over 25 years. We LOVE the breed and their loyalty. I know that they have to be worked and engaged in order to be "good" dogs! So, let me help you get some of their energy out and give them some of the mental stimulation they need. Our Greta was very well behaved. She did have formal training but as you know, that means I was trained as well. While we got very lax in training (she was 11 years old), I am willing to bring back some of that knowledge and work with yours while on a walk. That is the best time as the reset (calm, rest) afterwards is so important. While I don't mind other dogs, GSD's are definitely my favorite! I'm willing to walk any age and know the demands of stimulation at each age is so different. I occasionally walk my friends Golden Retriever. He is such a good boy but really just loves leisurely strolls while checking out all the pee-mail! I will be walking your dog while my husband is at work and I will come to your home to get the pup! I currently work a seasonal position January through April. The kids are now grown and either out of the house or in college. So, that leaves me somewhat flexible. I do have family out of the area that I will be going to help occasionally but I am definitely looking forward to working this into my weekday mornings and early afternoons. Since I'm only offering dog walking at this time, I'll plan to come to your place, retrieve your dog and head out for a walk! You would just need to provide a collar, leash and bags to clean up! Your dog will be returned at the desired time and will continue his/her napping until you return!
“Aly did a great job walking my senior dog Mischief. She was really responsive to my messages and flexible with my times as work changed. I’m looking forward to working with her in the future.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, other than my own dogs I have been a pet sitter for friends / family for 5+ years. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I’ve had multiple litters of puppies and breeds all the way from chihuahuas to great danes ! I’m currently unemployed so I have plenty of free time on my hands ! I can work with any schedule that fits you best ! I have five dogs myself! We have 7 acres we let them run free on, but if we do go in public they are always on leashes. I can 100% trust them but you never know with other animals so just a safety hazard ! I’ve cared for dogs with fenced in yards and without so I’m fine with either !
About: I grew up working at a farm. We had many dogs, cats, and barn animals as well as guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, birds, and fish. Throughout my life I have shadowed multiple veterinarians, volunteered at rescues, and cared for many other people’s animals and kids! I have attended college for Equestrian Studies too. Caring for animals has always been my greatest passion and I can’t wait to put it to good use by helping you and your animal out when the time calls! Caring for animals is my passions and therefore my full time job. I work a little online from home as well but never when it is taking time away from pet care. Away from home care: In my home I usually have other animals so, if you need care outside your home your pet must be potty trained, vaccinated and good with cats and dogs. We have leads for dogs outside and a large yard. No kennels provided, if you’d like your dog in a kennel, call a boarding facility. Your animal would be staying in a clean and safe bedroom/bathroom area with 24/7 supervision as well as a comfortable bed that is changed after every pet’s stay. They will be taken outside for at least 30 minutes, 4 times a day. You will need to provide food for your pet. In Home Care: If providing in home care for your pet all services are provided from walking and playtime to feeding and training. I also give bathes and brushing. Lots of love is of course always a part of my services as well. The schedule of it is up to you! I can do drop in visits any day of the week but only house sit on the weekend (Fri-Sun). I like to make sure I have plenty of time to spend with my own animals while also serving you. *Care In My Home* If you provide a crate and want me to use it I will but I usually just have your pet hang out with me around the house - it is all pet proof as I have many cats and a dog. If your pet doesn’t like other animals they are welcome to stay in my bedroom as a safe haven. I will be sure to hang out with them lots throughout the day if they are in there. I have a large fenced in backyard and leads for dogs. They are always supervised while outside. I only serve one pet family at a time so your animals won’t be exposed to any other animals other than my own. I do not provide care in my home to cats. *Care In Your Home* I will be with your pet for at least 2 hours at a time twice a day in addition to the evening and morning (10pm-10am) full time. I can bathe, brush, train, walk, and give lots of love at no extra charge!

“Paige was an excellent caretaker, communicator, and she was even very flexible when we needed to add a day! Our pup had playmates and she came up with ideas to keep him happy and fulfilled while we were gone. Even gave me an idea or two! We appreciate how well she cared for our pup, and we would book again!”

“Lydia is absolutely amazing! Her home is clean, welcoming and was ready to board our dog overnight. We really appreciate her and our dog returned home happy! We will be using Lydia from now on.”

You can find out more information by looking at Blockheads and Bows Pet Services LLC online! Dog walking/pet sitting is my passion and full time career. Even while having a steady schedule I have the flexibility that allows me to get to your VIP quickly while maintaining a high level of quality care for all of the animals I care for. From how your pets eat their meals, to sleeping arrangements I try to keep things as normal as possible for them. During my time with your pet they have my undivided attention.

“Dulce loves staying with Aubrey! Aubrey is always caring and responsive. I highly recommend her and her awesome skill with my dog and all the other new dog friends Dulce has made while under Aubrey's careful and loving watch ?”

“I appreciated that they were focused on getting Piper to eat since I'd relayed that when she gets anxious (like while I'm away) she tends to not want to eat. They sent well-timed pictures that showed the dogs relaxed by themselves or with one of the family. The stay went well but it was a bit confusing with having both ladies message me answers to the same question.”
