About: As a lifelong pet enthusiast, I've been caring for cats and dogs since childhood. I have 4 of my own furry friends now (3 cats and a dog), one of which is chronically ill so I have experience with sick pets. I also have valuable experience watching over friends' beloved pets for extended periods at a time. I am currently working part-time and create my own schedule so I have a lot of availability both during the week and on the weekends My dog is 75 pounds so I have experience handling large dogs (such as walking or can crate your dog if needed). With having my own pets, I know what is and is not safe for pets to get into. I am also comfortable giving special diets to pets (as one of my cats is chronically ill) in addition to various medication if needed.

About: I've taken care of my family dog for 6 years, and I also was entrusted with my friends and family's dogs since I was 9. Currently, I am doing volunteer work and shadowing physicians as I am home for the summer from college. I am available majority of the week and weekends. I make sure to let our animals have their separate spaces for when they are in need of a rest. They also have fulltime access to food and water, and I have a fenced in yard with enough room to run around. About: Worked as a vet assistant for 3 years at a vet office, medically caring for pets and assisting in surgery’s. Then worked for another 3 years at a doggy daycare, interacting and monitoring dogs or caring for the ones that were boarding. I’m currently a stay at home mom. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.

About: I pride my pet care based on anytime Ozzy goes to the vet or the groomer they praise him for being healthy, happy, and well-behaved. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule that enables me to give attention to pets! My weekends are generally freed up for playtime at a park, plenty of walks, or just lounging if thats whats requested. I just had to say goodbye to my loving 9 year old Border Collie / Golden Retriever mix. I made his health, happiness, and comfort my top priority.

“With the right sitter, I think having our dogs stay in a person's home is significantly less stressful than staying in a standard boarding kennel. This was definitely the case with Amanda and her family. Our boys, Mack (a doberman) and Luke (a Miniature Schnauzer), did very well there and got along well with their family dog and cats. Mack had some intestinal problems while we were out of town and Amanda went the extra mile to make sure he was well cared for and recovered without issue. She also provided regular updates on our boys even though we had no expectation of this, which was great. When I came to pick the dogs up, I saw them lounging in the front room before they knew I was there. They looked right at home. We wouldn't hesitate to have Amanda take care of our boys in the future.”
