About: Hi!! I have a deep love for dogs and have grown up with them my whole life of all ages! I got my first dog in high school and was I was 100% responsible for her and raised her from a puppy until she was 4 years old until I had to go to college and couldn’t bring her with me. I miss her so much so I thought this is a great way to fill that void! I have experience with different breeds as well, and I have dog sat for some of my friends and family in the past! I am currently taking summer classes and I have a very free schedule with only being out of the house for 1-2 hours a day. I have a very pet friendly home with a large couch where your pup could hangout on and take a nap! I can easily put the dog in their crate or just let them hangout on the couch if you’d like!

About: I am a dog mom, cat mom and a part time MBA student. My two cats are very well socialized with dogs, and my puppy Suki is absolutely obsessed with other dogs. We live in an apartment in downtown Columbus with plenty of space for a small dog guest. There are small grass patches in my apartment where I can take a dog to potty, they would need to be leashed the entire time. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside walking the scioto mile, and I like to paint. My current daily routine is flexible so I would be able to provide any care necessary. I used to have a senior dog that required a lot of TLC, and now I have a 4 pound puppy with a fast metabolism that also requires TLC for other reasons. suki is partially potty trained, but we do use indoor pads and a live grass patch. It’s OK if your dog is small and pad trained, I have plenty of cleaning supplies to take care of any accidents. I take safety very seriously for all pets. My cat takes a consistent medication every night at 9 PM and we haven’t missed it for the past four years. Also small dogs take a special amount of attention to keep safe.

About: Being a senior makes me old school, like being exactly on time or a bit early. I subscribe to the Dog Whisperer tenet of being ALPHA and pack leader to dogs in my care. A dog in a pack is a happy dog. I only use positive reinforcement. Ex.: dog pulling on the leash can be fixed by changing directions every 4 steps to the left, walking in a square, this encourages the dog to slow down and watch his human. Dog hair is a welcome addition to a life well lived, that's why my dogs get furniture and bed privileges. One fact about my dogs i pay attention to is how many sips of water they take. On a very hot day I've seen 30-40. This helps me know easily how my pet is feeling so I can react accordingly. Maybe time to put the soft Frisbee away! I'm fully retired, and rise early, so morning walks are easy. Breakfast is next, and 1hr later another walk outside. I like to prep a bag to take to the park. My fav is Schiller Park in German Village. I don't own a pet currently, I've had some health issues that are now resolved. Having been an owner twice in my life has given me many many experiences so I am flexible.

About: I’m currently a graduate student at The Ohio State University, and alongside my academic work, caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. About: I grew up as the neighborhood dog walker, and as soon as I graduated college I adopted my own dog and had her for ten amazing years (passed from cancer). I am a trained volunteer and have fostered for two local animal shelters. I hike every weekend and go on daily walks, so staying active with dogs fits naturally into my routine. My partner jokes that I need the daily walks more than the dogs do ;) I have no pets or children in the home, meaning your pets will be quite spoiled and get all the attention and cuddles! I work from the office Monday - Thursday, and work from home on Fridays! I take a morning walk and an hour walk after work or during lunch at a minimum. I hike on the weekends and would love to bring your dog with me! If you have a fenced in yard, I will stay outside with your dog so they are not left unattended plus multiple walks. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, I will take out on a leash for long walks and multiple potty breaks throughout the day.

About: I've taken care of many kinds of dogs and have always had one in my family home. I've taken care of big and small, old gentle dogs and crazy little puppies. I've had a lab and currently have a pitbull. They've all been very playful so I'm used to and don't minding jumping, barking and licking. I'm working part-time, so I have plenty time to visit, walk or stay with your pets. I'm not picky about the time of dag and can work over the weekends. Since I've had many pets I realise it takes time for some animals to adjust to a new person while others are very loving right away. I'd make sure to take into account your own dogs personality when interacting with them and the rules you keep for them.

I have a two bedroom apartment with my sweet, spayed sheltie Flora who loves to play and take naps. I am quite active so I would be happy to take your dog on long epic walks.
