We were updated frequently with plenty of pictures. We could tell that Parsley was having an absolute blast - which was confirmed when I went to pick her up and she didn't want to leave. I also grew up in a house with 5 dogs and 2 cats—so nothing can surprise me. I have experience with breeds of all sizes, puppies, special medical needs, senior/end-of-life care, mixed animal homes (dogs AND cats, for example), and behavioral issues (other-dog aggressive, skittish, etc). I study from home all day and relax by going on walks with a science podcast. Your house, my house, whatever works—I’d love for your pup to join me! I’m currently studying from home full-time! So plenty of time for play, walks, potty breaks, or cuddles. I can do overnight boarding and doggy daycare at my house (I have a fenced backyard). About: Hi! I am a pet owner and enthusiast. Since I am a professor, I work from home and have a lot of free time in summers and holidays to hang out with your wonderful dog. Additionally, my husband works from home so your pooch will never be alone and will have frequent walks around the many green spaces in Franklinton. Our favorite is the river. If You Need A Host During The day for puppy I have a dog park and a trail where we can walk and play and where your puppy can feel at home. About: Being a senior makes me old school, like being exactly on time or a bit early. I subscribe to the Dog Whisperer tenet of being ALPHA and pack leader to dogs in my care. A dog in a pack is a happy dog. I only use positive reinforcement. Ex.: dog pulling on the leash can be fixed by changing directions every 4 steps to the left, walking in a square, this encourages the dog to slow down and watch his human. Dog hair is a welcome addition to a life well lived, that's why my dogs get furniture and bed privileges. One fact about my dogs i pay attention to is how many sips of water they take. On a very hot day I've seen 30-40. This helps me know easily how my pet is feeling so I can react accordingly. Maybe time to put the soft Frisbee away! I'm fully retired, and rise early, so morning walks are easy. Breakfast is next, and 1hr later another walk outside. I like to prep a bag to take to the park. My fav is Schiller Park in German Village. I don't own a pet currently, I've had some health issues that are now resolved. Having been an owner twice in my life has given me many many experiences so I am flexible.

About: Hi! My name is Sabrina and I’m a second year optometry student at The Ohio State University! My first job at 13 was taking care of my next door neighbor’s dog. She loved me so much that she referred me to a few other people within the neighborhood. They relied on me to walk, feed, give medications, among other responsibilities. “Rachel did a great job taking caring of my 85 lb doodle! He even was having some GI issues before I left him and she was able to take care of him and get him back to normal before I returned. He got along well with her dogs. So far, he’s stayed with her twice and seemed to love both stays and came back tired, which is always a good sign! She kept me updated throughout the stay and responded quickly to all messages. I would definitely recommend Rachel!”
