About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and helped at the local vet clinic growing up. My last dog passed away from heart failure in 2022. It’s a busy time for my sons activities so it’s not a good time to bring a full time dog into our home at this time but would love to help others out. I work full time outside the home M-TH from 8-3 and half day Fridays (occasional Fridays totally free). I am willing to be flexible with week day stays if they can manage being alone during those hours. Our yard is unfenced but I would walk or chain them out depending on owner preference. They would be treated like they were my own.

I work PRN as CNA at the hospital in Springfield which requires reliability, work ethic and compassion. I have a dog and a cat that live at home as well but not currently with me at college. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I also have a back yard with a lead allowing your dog to run around without being hand held on a leash for every potty break.
