“Theo's stay with Ann was as good as can be. This was Theo's first time spending time with a person he did not know. We did a meet and greet with Ann prior to boarding Theo and our meeting went well. The day we left Theo with Ann after we left she texted us about 10-15 minutes saying Theo was alrady on her lap. We recieved a text the next day with a picture of Theo laying on a cuddly blanket and stating he had slept all thrrough the night and was a very good boy. About: I have had 9 cats of my own. I have cared for kittens from age 2 weeks old, having to bottle feed them to senior cats who needed medication. I'm open with owners about things I find. I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. I am precise when following directions provided by the pet owner. I LOVE taking pictures of pets and will send them over every day. I have 4 cats of my own, so their care is a daily routine for me. About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dog(s) whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

While currently a pet empty nester, my wife and I raised 3 Golden Retrievers over 30 years, all starting out with us as puppies. While new to Rover, I have a lifetime of experience with pets I grew up with, my family's pets and now occasionally over the last 5 years caring for my children's pets that include 2 cats and a reactive dog. I am retired and looking forward to devoting time to Rover. I also do volunteer work, but scheduling for that is flexible and will not conflict with Rover commitments. I will show them affection through petting, belly rubs, ear scratches and cuddles; and by devoting all of my attention and time to them. About: Throughout my pet sitting experience, I have neighbors, friends, and families I pet sit for on a regular basis. I've had experience with giving any necessary medications to dogs that include shots and pills. I'm currently working part-time hours at a bookstore and in school part time. I take classes online so I can be flexible with hours. I'm open Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for drop in visits and walks. I do not care for pets in my home due to not having a fenced backyard and/or any crate to keep pet/s in when I'm away.
About: I’m a certified volunteer handler for service dogs in training at 4 Paws for Ability. Sitters and handlers are trained to train, care for, and accumulate soon to be service dog puppies. I also have have experience as an overnight pet sitter for dogs of all sizes and backgrounds. I am comfortable with any breed and do well with pets suffering from anxiety. I’m starting my PhD program in the fall and am looking to make some extra cash before the semester begins in August. I have nothing but time until then and I would love to fill it up with puppy love! It’s totally normal for your pet to get the puppy blues without you there. Some things I do that has often helped ease this anxiety is being available for around the clock care, doing some soothing activities like mat licking, and lots of belly scratches!
About: Animals have been so much the center of my life that I made it my career! I am a professional dog trainer with an education through Jean Donaldson's Academy for Dog Trainer's. Let me bring that experience to carrying for your best friend's when you need a set of extra hands. I have loved and cared for pets my entire life! Growing up we had cats, dogs, birds and lizards. Currently I have two Great Pyrenees and one cat of great personaity. They have been my guides in the wonderful world of clicker training. Ghost, my rescue dog, has given me a lot of experience with anxious, sensitive dogs that need a little more time and care. Where as Nanuk has shown me how to handle dogs with a ton of drive and intelligence. And how to harness that despite physical limitations. And my cat... well, he comes running whenever I get the treat bag and clicker and has his own variation on all the dogs tricks. ;) I look forward to meeting your pets and seeing what I can learn from them! I am currently working part time and happy to work with you on scheduling. My husband is also retired which allows me a lot of flexibility for being away from home I do not care for client pets in my home. When is someone else's home I will do my best to continue your pet's usual routine while you are away.
About: I grew up with cats, owned a 3-legged senior dog for many years, and have owned small rodents, and an indoor rabbit. I've been pet sitting for friends for almost a decade! Relax while you're away knowing your furry family member(s) are well taken care of. I'm currently on summer break (I work in education) so my availability is very open. I also work a summer job at Riverbend, but that's only a few nights a month. When I visit a clients home, I like to first make sure to take an inventory the pets' general wellness, and just love on them a little if possible before beginning any cleaning or feeding. Then I will start potty breaks or box cleaning, food and water changes, and any other necessary tasks. Then, more loves & scritches as needed :)
About: I am a huge animal lover , And will treat yours as if they are my own. I have always had animals mostly via adopting from shelters. Currently have two dogs and two cats. They are very easy going and get along well with others. I currently am a Stay at home Dog Mom , which makes me available day and night and most weekends. Calendar may change at times to accommodate child’s soccer schedule. I presently am able to provide in home pet sitting (your home) drop in care for all types of pets ( small livestock on a case by case basis) and dog walking services. I love to go for walks, and play games . I will be happy to take your pups on outings to local parks for walks - I have a dog friendly SUV. I will provide lots of pictures Will care for your pets in your home as you would do. Strictly follow all feeding, medication , potty break and bed schedule as if you were there as well. Finding pet care is very stressful , I have been there.
