“Summer was awesome! She sent pictures, responded quickly and cared for my pup with lots of love. I plan to refer her to friends/family and I will be booking again in the future.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Cliff! He watched our pup for a full week, and from start to finish, everything was seamless and stress-free. Cliff treated our dog like his own, playtime, and plenty of love. He kept us updated with photos and little notes that showed just how happy and well cared for our dog was. When we picked her up, she was relaxed, happy, and clearly had a great time. We’ll absolutely be calling Cliff again next time we travel! Highly recommend—five stars🐾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🐾”

“We’re really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. While we were away we received daily updates with photos and it looked like our pup was having a great time. Thanks for taking good care and we look forward to scheduling with you again!”

“This is a kind personable family that obviously enjoys animals. Jane their little Yorkie was very kind and accepting to Elizabeth. We feel comfortable letting her visit them again and we appreciated the frequent updates and photos of Elizabeth's stay.”

“Kathy was wonderful! She sent daily pictures and updates for me. I could see my dog was spoiled with attention and care. She didn’t want to leave. I would highly recommend Kathy!”

“Brendan & Sarah are the best! They took great care of our two large dogs and sent us plenty of pics and updates. It’s such a relief to know our dogs are well cared for when we go out of town.”

“My dog, Lola, enjoyed Thanksgiving week with Samantha and I’ve already booked the Christmas holiday week for her. That’s high praise for Samantha’s positive style & work ethics. ***** 5 stars!”

“She did a great job and my usually very shy and scared cat warmed up to Stephanie and her family fairly quickly! I have nothing but good things to say about her. Also, she was very flexible on the pick up time and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Highly recommend to use her for your animal sitting needs!”

“Sarah is the best!!! We can always trust her with our pup ❤️🐶 We had to travel last minute due to an emergency and reached out to Sarah, she was available and took care of our 9-yr old Shih tzu, Frank, while we were away. She also gave him his monthly preventative medications and sent us regular updates. She gave us peace of mind during our trip.”

“Karin is amazing!!! My boy fit right in at her beautiful home! She has a really great doggie that helped him not have too much anxiety with his mom leaving him in a new place for the day! I highly recommend Karin”

“Chelsea was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly communicative throughout Bailey's stay, sending photos and updates every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was also very accommodating with our schedule and allowed us a late check-in and check-out, which we greatly appreciated. Chelsea and her husband are genuinely kind, welcoming people, and it was clear from the start that Bailey was in great hands. Knowing she was so well cared for made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our trip. We couldn't recommend Chelsea more highly and would absolutely trust her with Bailey again in the future! :) thanks again!”
“Kimberly was great with my dog. I got updates daily with pictures. I can tell when my dog is stressed, and she didn’t appear stressed at all. All my instructions were followed, and medications given. I will use Kimberly again!”

“Angela was an absolutely fantastic sitter for our dog! From the moment we met her, we could tell she genuinely cares about animals. She was attentive, responsible, and kept us updated with daily photos and messages, which gave us much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was happy and well cared for when we returned. Angela followed all of our instructions perfectly, including feeding instructions and walks. We will definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Aspen was so great. I was nervous about using rover and leaving my dog with a stranger, but Aspen was amazing. She was very friendly and welcoming when I dropped my dog off; she told me that she would be to take Effie on a few walks throughout the day and that she might even take her up to the lake. She sent me daily pictures and updates about the walks she would take with my dog and just overall how my dog was doing. It was nice to get the updates/pictures while I was gone for the week and put me more at ease with leaving her. There was a portion of Effie’s stay that another dog was going to be there and Aspen was very accommodating and wanted to make sure it was ok with me that there was another dog there (it was), but she even offered to go to my home on those days to let Effie out if it was not. I would definitely recommend Aspen and would use her again in the future :)”

“Riya is the best. Barkley felt instantly comfortable with her and her pup, Archie. She was so kind to help us on short notice. She took great care of Barkley, sent photos, and gave us the perfect amount of communication. Highly recommend her and will definitely connect with her again!”

“Marla took good care of Willow. She’s a good communicator and I received plenty of updates. My dog doesn’t like other animals and she was able to make sure she had her own space. Thanks Marla!”

“Matt was great with Chasey, she was so happy with him and his doggos! They made her feel right at home! I really appreciated the photo updates and communication throughout the weekend. We will definitely be coming back in the future!”

“Once again had Victoria visit my shy boy over the holidays — she was fantastic and he absolutely loved her! He seemed less stressed than normal when I came back home as well. I know that she came to give my cat love even when she was feeling sick, so that meant a lot to both of us. Thank you so much Victoria!”

“Madi was just fabulous! She was consistent with visiting and taking care of my cat and worked with my apartment manager for apartment access. She communicated well and I appreciated her following up. I will definitely rebook!”

“Peter was amazing with my two cats! They quickly got comfortable with him and he spent time every day playing with them and sending pictures. I was able to relax during my time away knowing he was taking such good care of them!”

“Melissa took care of my two cats for a week and did a wonderful job. She was communicative, sent photo updates, and it was a relief knowing she was caring so diligently for their needs!”

About: I live with Boki, a Russian Blue with strong opinions about when he wants attention and when he absolutely does not. That's good training. I've cared for friends' and family's cats solo while they traveled, including shy and antisocial cats and multi-cat households. My approach is the same every time: I don't push it. Cats decide when they're comfortable, and I'm patient enough to let that happen. Some cats warm up in an hour; some take the whole weekend. Either is fine with me. If your cat hides under the bed the whole time you're gone, I'm not going to take it personally. I'll make sure they're fed, their space is clean, and they know someone's there. That's usually enough.
“Carla is awesome, coming to the rescue with a last-minute cat visit when I had to leave town suddenly and giving them and my house the best care and me, peace of mind. I genuinely appreciate her flexibility and sweetness, and we would welcome her back anytime for future travels!”

I work remotely during the school year and have summers off. My work is in pacific time, giving me plenty of time in the morning to take your pet on a walk, play outside, or just keep them company. Of course, when I’m off in the summer, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets! I am open to the safety, trust, and environment guidelines set by each pet owner. About: Hi! I’m Erica. I work from home, so your pet won’t be sitting alone all day while you’re away. Whether they need walks, playtime, couch time, or just someone around, I’ll be there to keep them company. I’m reliable, easygoing, and a big animal lover. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I know how important it is to find someone you feel comfortable leaving them with. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own, stick to their routine, and send plenty of photos and updates along the way. I know leaving a pet can be stressful, so I want you to feel confident they’re in good hands. I work from home full time, so my schedule is pretty pet friendly. Whether your pet is staying with me, needs a drop in visit, a walk, or overnight care, I have flexibility throughout the day and can usually work around their normal routine. Since I’m home most of the time, pets staying with me get plenty of attention, company, and potty breaks instead of being left alone all day. My evenings and weekends are also wide open, which gives me even more time to spend with them. I take pet care seriously and know that trust is a huge part of leaving your pet with someone new. I always follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walk preferences, and any other routines that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. Since I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on pets staying with me throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I pay attention to the little things, like changes in appetite, energy levels, or behavior, and I’ll always reach out if something seems off. I want pets to feel safe, relaxed, and at home while they’re with me. Whether they need extra exercise, extra patience, or just someone nearby while they nap, I’ll do my best to make sure they’re comfortable. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being well cared for.

“Clifford did an amazing job watching my dog, Zebo, today! From the moment I picked him up, I could tell he had a great time. He came back happy, energetic, and acting like he had puppy fever again — and he’s 11! 😂 That alone tells me he was well cared for and genuinely enjoyed his time. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Zebo was in good hands. I truly appreciate the care and attention Clifford gave him and would absolutely trust him again for doggy day care. Highly recommend!”

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life! I've been responsible for walking, feeding, petting, and loving multiple family dogs. I know how to be patient with a dog and react based on the dog's comfort level. I work remote so my schedule is extremely flexible. I can be anywhere at anytime! Let me know what your pet needs and I'll be happy to accommodate them and you :) This will depend mostly on the owner's needs, but I will have eyes on your pet at all times to make sure they're safe and sound. I make sure to listen to an animals queues.
“Thanks Joe!!! You are just amazing with Reagan and so appreciate you. Ring able to take her on short notice. We trust you completely with our furry kids and home!”

“My first try and I struck GOLD. She is THE.BEST. After reading MANY profiles and REVIEWS, I am so glad Christine was able to meet our needs. In the initial booking and questions she was super responsive. She offered to do a meet and greet but with all the great feedback in the reviews and her repeat clients, I knew our pupster would be in good hands. During drop off she gave me an overview of the other furry friends and what I could expect the day would look like. I loved seeing the photos and all the interaction and attention puppy was getting. At pick-up she gave me a run down of the friends she made and the fun she had. I really appreciated chatting with Christine, because you can just tell how much she enjoys and cares for the ones that make her house “home” for a bit!”

“Our pups had a great time! Carla accepted our booking the day of after we had another one cancel. She kept us up to date with photos & videos. Would definitely book with her again if we return to Cleveland”

“I took my 4 month old puppy to Nicole for his first time needing a doggie day care, and everything went perfect. Nicole is super great at communicating and staying in touch and booking with her was smooth as well. We will definitely go back : )”

About: I am a part time registered nurse with 5 years of pet sitting experience but currently new to Rover! I specialize in French bulldogs and dogs with mobility issues that may require extra care and medication administration but am also available to care for other breeds and healthy dogs and cats as well! I used to live in San Diego where I walked and cared for many dogs experiencing these issues and would love to continue to help others in my free time. My own dog has a history of skin issues, IVDD & liver issues which I have all learned to manage from my experience. I am an emergency department registered nurse so I also know how to stay calm in emergent situations and give your pets the care and love as I would give my own. I currently work part time so I have a very flexible schedule when it comes to dog walking or watching your animal in my home. I currently live in an apartment near the flats which is a very safe and dog friendly community. I walk my own dog four times a day and we also have a dog park for dogs that need to get more energy out. I am a helicopter mom when it comes to my own dog being around other dogs as far as safety so I would do the same for your dog as well. When my dog is not outside we relax in the apartment, play ball and I let him chew on only Nyla or Benebones. My dog also is one to get into anything left out so my place is very clean and nothing is ever left out on the floor, bed or closet that he might be able to get into.
“Pam and Evan were so kind to help with watching our mini schnauzer for the day. We are from out of town and have they were able to keep her while we were sightseeing. Thank you both!”

“Ms. Stephanie is a caring, dedicated, loving, and genuine pet owner and pet sitter. She is outstanding and it shows. My pet absolutely loved every moment with Ms. Stephanie and her family. Highly recommended.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for years, including overnight stays and quick drop-ins for potty breaks. I have experience with different routines and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m also a pet owner myself—I have three cats and a mini goldendoodle who loves to play! I got into dog sitting because we had taken our dog to be boarded before and were very unhappy with the lack of care and love she received when she was boarded. I wanted to make sure other families didn’t have that experience as well. We have a fully fenced-in backyard, so there’s plenty of safe space for dogs to run, play, and get their energy out. My daily routine is already built around structure, consistency, and caregiving, so pet care fits in seamlessly. I’m used to following schedules, whether that’s for feeding times, potty breaks, walks, or playtime. I make time for walks, outdoor play in my fenced-in yard, and plenty of attention and care. Throughout the day, I’m organized and responsive, making it easy to prioritize pets’ needs and stick to their normal routines. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, and it naturally fits into my day just like caring for my own pets. I care for pets in my home by creating a safe, comfortable, and structured environment where they can feel at ease. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any special instructions. Pets have access to my fully fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and supervision throughout the day. I also keep a clean and pet-friendly space, ensuring water is always fresh and that pets are monitored closely during interactions. With my experience caring for animals and my own pets at home, I understand how important it is for them to feel secure, loved, and part of the family while you’re away.
“Sage watched our elderly family dog while we were in Cleveland managing numerous appointments at the Cleveland clinic. She created a comfortable space for our 18 year old dog, sent lots of cute pictures and seemed to really care about her well being. Sage was extra flexible with our changing schedule, and it was a comfort to know that Maggie was being well taken care of during our stressful time. She is compassionate, reliable, and easy to get a hold of. When we are back in Cleveland we hope to have her watch Maggie again. I’d recommend her to anyone.”

“Absolutely love working with Victoria, and my pets definitely do too! Juno is always worn out and sleeps well the days she is walked by Victoria, and I appreciate having someone to exercise some of her excess energy! Couldn’t be happier! And the reports she leaves always make me smile. She gives my kitty a bit of attention when she comes in to walk Juno, which is much appreciated too”

About: I absolutely love animals! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and even ducks! In my childhood household, we treated our pets as the much-loved members of the family that they were. In my adult life, I have continued this tradition by cherishing my own pets as if they were my children (because they are lol)! Whenever I’m out of town (or just out of the house for the day), I’m constantly thinking of my fur babies and what they might be doing. I love taking care of other peoples’ pets while they’re away because I know the pets love the attention and their parents can feel confidant about stepping out of the house! Whether the pets want to play, snuggle, or keep to themselves, it makes me so happy take care of them and make sure they’re happy and healthy! Pet sitting for me is a full time job! My schedule is very flexible, and it would be my pleasure to watch your fur babies while you’re away! Pets to me are not accessories in the house; they’re cherished members of the family! My priority for my own pets and my clients’ pets is that they are happy, healthy, and loved. It’s important to me that they drink enough water, are eating the right amount of nourishing food, and getting the right amount of play and rest! Beyond that, I like to let the pets take the lead regarding our interactions. If a pet wants snuggles, count me in! If a pet wants space, I can respect that and support them from afar.

About: Starting in July, I am available all day! I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I loved and adored as family. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives. I work an 8-5pm job M-F currently in Cleveland. I am a graduate student, which does mean I am relatively busy, However, I am more than willing to try to fit pet-sitting/walking into my schedule. We can talk more about this if you want to book with me! I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. If the client approves, I like to err on the side of reaching out if I have questions or concerns, rather than waiting until they get back. Additionally, having emergency veterinary information is a must, as I am willing to do what is necessary to keep your pet safe.

They will get walks in my dog friendly neighborhood (along with a dog friendly park across the street), and lots of couch snuggles during TV binges. They will get lots of play time and attention!

My background includes: Professional Care: Working at a professional dog kennel and daycare facility. Specialized Training: Volunteer Service Dog Trainer through 4 Paws for Ability. Rescue Work: Volunteer with Golden Retriever Rescue and Needy Dog Adoption. From high-energy pups to gentle seniors, and every breed in between, I’m ready to give your dog the best part of their day! Have a question or want to chat about boarding? Reach out! If I’m not the right fit or available, I’m happy to point you toward a resource or community contact who can help. Can't wait to meet your pup! Currently I am working part time but willing to make necessary changes to fit your schedule for your dog! Usually only 3 Days a week in the mornings but of course that can change to fit you and your pup as long as I’m given two weeks notice in advance. Currently I am not able to board any dogs but I know various parks and walking trails to take the dogs. My dog isn’t comfortable with other dogs currently just because she is so old.

About: Hello! I recently moved to CLE for a full-time role post grad. With the travel requirements needed for work I don’t have time for my own pet so would love to be able to provide services for a range of different dogs and cats. I have ownership experience with both large dogs (labradors) and smaller dogs (miniature dachshunds) as well as cats. I grew up on a family farm so I have experience looking after a multitude of different types of animals as well. I am available to walk dogs or to come over and care for an animal when the owner is away as well. I promise to provide excellent care for your animal(s) and professional service too. Taking care of animals is truly a passion of mind and I would love to take care of yours! Currently working full-time so my availability is mostly on weekends. I work from home on Monday and Fridays so could potentially walk or care for animals during those two days as well. I live in an apartment and watch smaller animals at my place from time to time. Also able to go to clients’ homes and watch/walk animals at their place. I currently dog sit for two neighbors in my apartment building and would love to watch even more animals.
About: Hi, my name is James Dalla C. I love pets and wish I could own a pup pf my own full-time. Unfortunately, I am currently in graduate school for sociology and do not have the time to take care of a pet full-time. Therefore, summer-time is the perfect time for me to interact with pets for people who need them taken care of (and taken care of with compassion and love). I am extremely active and love to go on long walks and spend hours in the park, which consists of exercise and playing when it comes to dog sitting. Furthermore, if you are in need of a dog sitter, look no further. I am here to help and would love to do so. :)

About: I grew up with my family dog whom I love very much. I also cat sit for friends and family whenever possible. I love all animals and love spending time with them! I’m currently working as a RN at the VA. I’m currently working as a full-time RN at the VA. My work schedule differs from week to week, but I’m very flexible with visits and hours on my days off. I can come as often or as little as you need! Unfortunately, at this time I’m not able to take care of pets in my apartment. I will make updates as necessary if anything changes.

“Katherine is always kind, flexible and generous with her time. Many times she was able to help take care of our pets as a last minute request, and often goes out of her way to accommodate us. We trust Katherine 1000% with taking care of our little loved ones. We always book with Katherine and will continue to recommend her services to anyone we meet.”

“Brendan & Sarah are the best! They took great care of our two large dogs and sent us plenty of pics and updates. It’s such a relief to know our dogs are well cared for when we go out of town.”

“Bailey always comes back from Rachel's house so happy!! He absolutely adores her. She is wonderful with him, she's a great communicator, and she's just a really kind person. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Rachel!!”

“Devon was fantastic. Very attentive and loving and made Hazel feel right at home. She sent pics and Hazel seemed very relaxed. I would highly recommend her.”

“Katherine was very communicative and updated about my sweet little cat who stayed with her for a long weekend. It was our first Rover experience, and I felt very comfortable!”

“Monica and her daughter Riley were fantastic during Oliver's stay with them! I can tell he had a blast and they were very responsive throughout the scheduling process!”

“Louie had a great time at Christine's house! The whole family is SO nice, her dog Bella is a sweetie and her boys are adorable. The last time Louie had a sitter (not from Rover) we came home to a very listless, quiet and depressed dog with no appetite. Not this time! Lou got so much time with his new friends and some long walks. Christine was great with keeping in touch while we were on vacation and we came home to a happy and energetic dog.”

“Keeley took care of our high energy lab/pit mix for over a week. She took the extra time to send us updates and photos. She is kind and quick with communication. We felt at ease while Nora was in her care. 10/10 recommend!”
