“We never have to worry when Tommy is at his home away from home. I know that I can leave him and he will be loved as though he were with me. We always appreciate the pictures and little notes. This stay was unique in that I had to contact Kathy and request to extend Tommy's stay because of a family member's health. Kathy was so accommodating and without hesitation kept Tommy two extra days. Tommy is already looking forward to his next "vacation"! Five stars is not enough!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs since forever, I love mine more than anything. My experiences dog sitting and cat sitting range from my neighbors and family to taking care of animals on my uncles farm. I love meeting people’s pets so it would be my pleasure to meet more!! My dog Ruby is 15 years old and I love her to death, I can’t imagine her being alone all day. I go to college full time at Cleveland State University. I do play in multiple orchestras as well, but although I’m busy I have time in between classes and in the afternoons/evenings that I struggle to fill! Nova, a snowshoe cat, is unlike any cat I've ever encountered, and I have had many, many, many cats. You always hear how cats are independent and will take care of themselves for the most part. Nova is the exception and I swear he is more like a dog. He has intense separation anxiety and sits by the door waiting on us to come home (we watch him through a cam). It's heartbreaking as sometimes we are gone for up to 10 days. He is very affectionate and loving and stays in my lap all day. So he needs a lot of attention. And Lindsay gives it to him! It's what I look for most when selecting someone to watch him. Someone who understands he's not like a normal cat and needs your voice, physical touch, play, and just overall some company. They do not allow dogs (unless they are service dogs) into the hall of Fame, so as a Rover sitter myself, I looked for a sitter here. I found Pam and she was great! About: Starting in July, I am available all day! I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I loved and adored as family. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives. I work an 8-5pm job M-F currently in Cleveland. I am a graduate student, which does mean I am relatively busy, However, I am more than willing to try to fit pet-sitting/walking into my schedule. We can talk more about this if you want to book with me! I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. I also offer personalized behavioral training a recommendations. I have particular experience with behavioral issues like separation anxiety and difficulties walking on a leash and getting overwhelmed with various stimuli. Previously, I fostered large dogs with behavioral issues for the SPCA for 5 years. I have experience with dogs that are reactive, anxiety ridden and once with medical issues. I fostered the dogs until the issues are either managed or resolved and they are ready for adoption. I have experience primarily with large dogs. I am used to long walks and hikes with dogs. I primarily keeps dogs on leash but in the right circumstances I will let them off leash. However, I am very picky. I am open to walking l, check-ins and boarding. I’m in class a few times a month and working 1-2 days a week so I have times of availability to care for your pup. About: I currently have two cats who are well taken care of and who I have administered medications to and cleaned up after. I also grew up around dogs and am well versed with handling dogs of different temperaments. I work full time but I am very free on the weekends and after work to care for pets. I am also free around lunch times on Monday and Friday. I am adept at handling cats and dogs in difficult situations. For dogs, I would put them in their crate for a cool down time. For cats, I usually prefer to put them in time out in a room or disengage ntil they are able to not be as overstimulated. I also like to re-direct energy using play so pets do not feel punished for their energy.
About: I've been around animals my entire life! My family has had pets for as long as I can remember—from senior golden retrievers to brand new kittens—and I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was back in high school. I even now have two kitties of my own! When I take care of your pets, I'll treat them with the same care and affection I do my own. I've taken care of animals with behavioral struggles and physical health troubles within my own family and it has given me important experience to be able to take the best care of your pets, no matter what their unique circumstances. I also have experience caring for both senior dogs and puppies/kittens that are under a year old, as well as experience administering various oral medications and inhalers to dogs and cats. About: I take care of pets like they're my children because they're similar in my eyes. Sweet & cuddly needing to be nurtured with compassion & great care. I've owned several pets including a dog for 7+ Years, a gecko, and a grown man cat. I'm a stay at home mom who does work from home so I'm able to make my schedule flexible when needed. My children and I love to be outside. Unfortunately at the moment with my schedule I am only able to provide drop ins and walks, but we'll still make the moments together great! When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. I am sure to give your dog personalized attention and love and care they deserve! We live in a great walkable community in Shaker Heights. We are happy to take your dog on walks and visits to the park, so they can have a nice vacation too! I can currently adapt to most pet care schedules. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i was a little girl, they’re an important part of my life. Every dog that visits will receive a bath if requested! Very good with senior pups! I have a very flexible work, as well as my husbands schedule so always there to do potty breaks and just give some love and attention! I have one dog right now, he’s a 6 year old lab. He’s pretty chill, likes to play & would love to have a buddy to play with!
