When I’m not at work, I will spend all my time with your pet, taking them on walks, to dog parks, to get pup cups, etc, whatever you as the owner allow or prefer! I have a fenced in yard at my home, so dogs can be off leash to exercise, use the potty, and play time. During their stay in my home, they are welcome to be free roaming, not in crates, unless owners would prefer crates.

During the pandemic, I spent a significant amount of time with my pets indoors where I had the opportunity to take care of two litters that my dogs had. I learned many skills during that time. With age, my dog became a senior dog and had to take oral medication so I am used to giving oral/topical medication to pets. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous. Lewey liked Austin the second he saw him for the Meet and Greet. Lewey had an amazing time with Austin’s two beautiful dogs. Austin sent us videos and pictures that kept us updated, and it was so appreciated as it helped to calm me and know Lewey was in good hands. I’m happy to do walks early morning or late night, as well as general drop ins throughout the day to provide you with the peace of mind to know your furry friend is happy and getting exercise. I’m happy to follow any rules you have for your pet, dietary restrictions, etc. Of course, if there’s a favorite toy, or place to walk, please let me know, happy to oblige that as well. I'm currently not working full-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry family member. Caring for pets is my primary source of income currently. I rarely leave pets alone if they are in my home, and I make sure to understand someone else's home before allowing a pet out of my sight.

About: As a lifelong animal lover I have cared for dogs, cats and even rodents! For the past decade plus I had the honor and privilege to have cared for 2 dogs who lived fun and fulfilling lives to senior age. For those in need of pet boarding and short-term pet sitting I have a large fenced yard with plenty of toys, access to potty areas, and open access into my home. There is plenty of space for your dog to be comfortable and receive appropriate mental stimulation. Crate trained dogs are welcome though the majority of my experience is with non-crate trained dogs. I make a point to walk and play with your dog as much as necessary!

Beyond caring for my own dogs, I volunteer with a local animal shelter for a “Dogs Day Out” program where I take shelter dogs on outside to provide socialization, exercise and enrichment. These experiences alone have strengthened my understanding of dogs with many personalities and needs, allowing me to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care for every pet I get to meet. :) I work in the emergency department, so my schedule varies, but my partner and I live together so generally when I am not home he is there, and vice versa. When I’m not at work, I will spend all my time with your pet, taking them on walks, to dog parks, to get pup cups, etc, whatever you as the owner allow or prefer! I have a fenced in yard at my home, so dogs can be off leash to exercise, use the potty, and play time. During their stay in my home, they are welcome to be free roaming, not in crates, unless owners would prefer crates.
“My husband and so were so pleased with all Austin did for our Little Lewey. He is our first dog. Lewey is a puppy and almost 5 months old and we went out of town for three days. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous. Lewey liked Austin the second he saw him for the Meet and Greet. Lewey had an amazing time with Austin’s two beautiful dogs. Austin sent us videos and pictures that kept us updated, and it was so appreciated as it helped to calm me and know Lewey was in good hands. About: I've been around and taken care of animals for over 20 years. I've cared for dogs, cats, donkeys, pigs, birds, bunnies, fish & plants! About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and can't imagine my life without them. I recently adopted a puppy and have gone through all of the stages of puppy training! I am a young professional who works from home most of the week. My dog and I enjoy long daily walks and hikes on the weekends! While I work from home a majority of the time, if I have to leave I keep my dog in my bedroom where he can enjoy sleeping in AC. Sometimes with multiple dogs, I find it best to utilize crates if they are trained.
