“Stacie and Doug were amazing. My dog has several medications she needs to take throughout the day and she is older. They were wonderful about keeping me updated on her stay with them. It really gave me peace of mind as I was on vacation. I will be booking with them again soon …highly recommend Stacie and Doug.”

“Once again, Tommy has been cared for by Kathy and Graham so well that we never have to worry when we are away. It's obvious that he remembers and loves them. He enjoys his walks, cuddles and special treats!. The pictures we receive make us smile as well.”

“I was a bit nervous the first time I left my dog with Clifford, but the experience was perfect. Clifford was thoughtful and attentive. I had a great vacation while getting periodic updates (photos and videos) that eased my anxiety. Planning on a second engagement in two weeks.”

“Fantastic short stay for our large dog. My dog is shy and can sometimes struggle with new environments. We were given the flexibility of a meet and greet, but even without, the numerous photos were reassuring of my dog’s comfortability in Tina and Rick’s home. I am very appreciative of the updates throughout the day and taking the time to go out on walks. Will definitely be a future customer!”

“Sarah and Brendan were great with our dog, Kuma. He can be a little nervous meeting new people, but they were really good with him and he quickly warmed up to them. We received lots of photos, which was really appreciated and assuring to see that he was doing well. They were also super accommodating as we needed a sitter kind of last minute. Highly recommend them and would use them again!”

“We’re really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. While we were away we received daily updates with photos and it looked like our pup was having a great time. Thanks for taking good care and we look forward to scheduling with you again!”

“As always, Karin did an amazing job taking care of our dog Graycie. From daily pictures to even letting her crash a Thanksgiving family photo, she makes sure Graycie is taken care of and loved. We can’t thank you enough!”

“Angela was an absolutely fantastic sitter for our dog! From the moment we met her, we could tell she genuinely cares about animals. She was attentive, responsible, and kept us updated with daily photos and messages, which gave us much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was happy and well cared for when we returned. Angela followed all of our instructions perfectly, including feeding instructions and walks. We will definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“We had a great experience with Chelsea! She was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and took wonderful care of our dog while we were away. We appreciated the updates and could tell our pup was happy and well cared for. It gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“My dog, Lola, enjoyed Thanksgiving week with Samantha and I’ve already booked the Christmas holiday week for her. That’s high praise for Samantha’s positive style & work ethics. ***** 5 stars!”

“James was awesome! We had to make a last minute booking and he helped us out. We got photos and updates throughout the day. We’re really happy that we chose him as our dog sitter and highly recommend him.”

“She did a great job and my usually very shy and scared cat warmed up to Stephanie and her family fairly quickly! I have nothing but good things to say about her. Also, she was very flexible on the pick up time and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Highly recommend to use her for your animal sitting needs!”

“Riya is a phenomenal sitter, she has taken great care of my dog and is a wonderful communicator. I can travel stress free knowing my dog is in good hands.”

“This is my second time rebooking Faith and she is incredible. I appreciate her Rover report cards, photos of my cat, and letting us know if our cat has gotten into any mischief while we've been gone. I cannot recommend Faith highly enough!”

“Sam is such an amazing sitter!! I had her watch my cat for a second time. She is so good with my cat, and respects her boundaries while caring for her. She always sends multiple pictures and great updates when she does a drop in. She is also very responsive to messages and requests. If you’re looking for a sitter I definitely recommend reaching out to her!!”

“Sydney and James were both so wonderful and took excellent care of our cats while we were out. They went above and beyond in their services and sent excellent pictures. We will certainly be using them again”

“The best care I’ve had for my little dude! Melissa really cares for the animals. Making sure that they don’t feel alone and they are getting everything they need. Also putting my anxiety at ease with tons of check ins and photos, I never worried once about him. She went above and beyond by cleaning the silverware she used to make my cats food which was never expected but so kind! Thanks again Melissa!”

“Clifford did an amazing job watching my dog, Zebo, today! From the moment I picked him up, I could tell he had a great time. He came back happy, energetic, and acting like he had puppy fever again — and he’s 11! 😂 That alone tells me he was well cared for and genuinely enjoyed his time. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Zebo was in good hands. I truly appreciate the care and attention Clifford gave him and would absolutely trust him again for doggy day care. Highly recommend!”

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life! I've been responsible for walking, feeding, petting, and loving multiple family dogs. I know how to be patient with a dog and react based on the dog's comfort level. I work remote so my schedule is extremely flexible. I can be anywhere at anytime! Let me know what your pet needs and I'll be happy to accommodate them and you :) This will depend mostly on the owner's needs, but I will have eyes on your pet at all times to make sure they're safe and sound. I make sure to listen to an animals queues.
About: I have a high-energy dog that has prepared me in all aspects of pet care! I am well-versed in on- and off-leash exercise and have plenty of ideas for indoor enrichment activities. Having raised my own dog from 6 weeks old, I’m familiar with all of the accidents that can happen when pets are home alone. I’ve also cared for elderly and medically-complex dogs. I work remotely during the school year and have summers off. My work is in pacific time, giving me plenty of time in the morning to take your pet on a walk, play outside, or just keep them company. Of course, when I’m off in the summer, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets! I am open to the safety, trust, and environment guidelines set by each pet owner. As the owner of a needy dog, I understand that each family has different preferences for keeping their home and pets safe!
About: I have been walking dogs and pet-sitting for over 10 years now. I started walking dogs around the neighborhood and quickly demonstrated my dependability to clients. Through client word-of-mouth and recommendations, I started pet-sitting overnight. My responsibilities ranged from simple daily walks while clients were traveling to weeklong stays at residences, caring for several pets, watering plants, and doing light housework. I work remotely which allows me to be with your pet all day while sitting! This flexibility also gives me the opportunity for walks during the day and short notice care. I am very active so taking your dog out will be the best part of my day! I will follow any and all instructions you leave me for in-home pet care. I can assure you I will meet and exceed your expectations for pet-sitting. I will care for your pet as if they’re my own!
“Mary is so kind and truly loves animals. She was so kind and patient with my little puppy. She kept me updated throughout the day to ease my anxiety of leaving my dog for the first time. She also is very flexible in her schedule which is exactly what I was looking for. Excited to have Mary watch her again!”

About: I am a part time registered nurse with 5 years of pet sitting experience but currently new to Rover! I specialize in French bulldogs and dogs with mobility issues that may require extra care and medication administration but am also available to care for other breeds and healthy dogs and cats as well! I used to live in San Diego where I walked and cared for many dogs experiencing these issues and would love to continue to help others in my free time. My own dog has a history of skin issues, IVDD & liver issues which I have all learned to manage from my experience. I am an emergency department registered nurse so I also know how to stay calm in emergent situations and give your pets the care and love as I would give my own. I currently work part time so I have a very flexible schedule when it comes to dog walking or watching your animal in my home. I currently live in an apartment near the flats which is a very safe and dog friendly community. I walk my own dog four times a day and we also have a dog park for dogs that need to get more energy out. I am a helicopter mom when it comes to my own dog being around other dogs as far as safety so I would do the same for your dog as well. When my dog is not outside we relax in the apartment, play ball and I let him chew on only Nyla or Benebones. My dog also is one to get into anything left out so my place is very clean and nothing is ever left out on the floor, bed or closet that he might be able to get into.

About: Hi! I’m Erica. I work from home, so your pet won’t be sitting alone all day while you’re away. Whether they need walks, playtime, couch time, or just someone around, I’ll be there to keep them company. I’m reliable, easygoing, and a big animal lover. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I know how important it is to find someone you feel comfortable leaving them with. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own, stick to their routine, and send plenty of photos and updates along the way. I know leaving a pet can be stressful, so I want you to feel confident they’re in good hands. I work from home full time, so my schedule is pretty pet friendly. Whether your pet is staying with me, needs a drop in visit, a walk, or overnight care, I have flexibility throughout the day and can usually work around their normal routine. Since I’m home most of the time, pets staying with me get plenty of attention, company, and potty breaks instead of being left alone all day. My evenings and weekends are also wide open, which gives me even more time to spend with them. I take pet care seriously and know that trust is a huge part of leaving your pet with someone new. I always follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walk preferences, and any other routines that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. Since I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on pets staying with me throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I pay attention to the little things, like changes in appetite, energy levels, or behavior, and I’ll always reach out if something seems off. I want pets to feel safe, relaxed, and at home while they’re with me. Whether they need extra exercise, extra patience, or just someone nearby while they nap, I’ll do my best to make sure they’re comfortable. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being well cared for.
“Sage watched our elderly family dog while we were in Cleveland managing numerous appointments at the Cleveland clinic. She created a comfortable space for our 18 year old dog, sent lots of cute pictures and seemed to really care about her well being. Sage was extra flexible with our changing schedule, and it was a comfort to know that Maggie was being well taken care of during our stressful time. She is compassionate, reliable, and easy to get a hold of. When we are back in Cleveland we hope to have her watch Maggie again. I’d recommend her to anyone.”

“Tori was great with my little dog Jingles. Tori has two friendly larger dogs herself, and they were super great with my little dog. After meeting Tori and her dogs, I had no concerns about leaving my dog with her and would happily rebook her in the future.”

“Abby is the best! Mickey loved his stay and feels right at home. Abby is warm and caring and treats Mickey like he is her own. She sent pictures and provided updates. Mickey especially likes playtime in the yard. Abby is fantastic and we will definitely use her again.”
“Highly recommend dog sitting with Pamela and Marshall! :) We received pictures and videos throughout the day, which really helped since it was Bailey’s first time without us. He came home happy, and so are we. Thank you!!”

About: Growing up with a variety of pets has really helped deepen my love for animals. I grew up a family of German shepherds, I’ve had snakes, ferrets, cats, even a hedgehog! All my friends and family have relied on me for watching over there furry friends. I am a newly post grad from Kent state and just recently moved to Cleveland. I work as a bartender and my shifts are usually at night up to 8 hours and I always make sure my apartment is set up to assure any pet I am watching is comfortable while I am gone. I also love to go on walks and would love to be accompanied by your pet! Most of my shifts are at night usually starting around 4 and ending around 12 so I always make sure to take any pet I am watching on a long walk before leaving and spending as much time with them in the mornings! I also always try to get off my shift as early as possible while I have a current pet over! I like to treat any pet as my own no matter the size, personality, or behavior. Not only is rover beneficial to you but to me as well for allowing me to spend time with your furry friend!
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, and providing a calm, nurturing environment for them comes naturally to me. I understand the rhythms, personalities, and emotional needs of pets at every stage. My care is gentle, attentive, and rooted in years of true experience. I manage a small Airbnb business and am only away for a couple of hours on weekends to handle cleanings. The rest of my time is spent at home with my gentle 4-pound dog, who is friendly and easygoing. This creates a calm, stable environment where pets receive consistent attention and very minimal alone time. My home is quiet, tidy, and set up to give pets a safe and comfortable experience. I maintain a predictable rhythm throughout the day and adjust to whatever helps your pet feel their best — whether that’s playtime, cuddles, quiet rest, or simply being close by. I also have a fully fenced-in backyard where pets can enjoy fresh air and supervised outdoor time. I pay attention to the small details so your pet feels cared for, understood, and at home.
About: Hi! I have about 2 years of personal experience walking dogs for family friends. I like to believe I have a special bond with animals, and will treat them with nothing but love and care. There’s not much about me other than I’m young and full of energy! I’m recently graduated from Case Western Reserve University and have just started a full-time job. It can be kind of lonely living alone so what better way to get some company than to spend time with animals! I have experience walking, playing, sitting, feeding dogs, and overnight care. I’m open to sitting cats as well, I just don’t have as much experience with them. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have, and we can work something out together! I’m currently working full-time at a mainly remote job, so I have plenty of time to spend at my home to take care of all of the necessary needs your pet may have. I have a large yard great for potty breaks and playing fetch. I’m also in a great neighborhood for walking. Keeping an eye on your pet at all times is my number one priority.
“Thomas is amazing! Your pup will be in great hands with him! His love for dogs is very apparent and he was attentive to all of my dogs many needs lol. Thomas was also great at communication and Abner could not have asked for a better stay! Highly recommended!”

“Thanks Joe!!! You are just amazing with Reagan and so appreciate you. Ring able to take her on short notice. We trust you completely with our furry kids and home!”

About: I always had a dog growing up, and I've had one consistently for the last five years. I spent a year fostering before I adopted my current pup, so I've had experience with a lot of different kinds and sizes. I'm happy to run around with a puppy or younger, energetic dog, or chill out with an older buddy who just wants love. I'm open to all kinds, but I've always had a soft spot for bullies or other big dogs, because they're frequently misunderstood as dangerous when, more often than not, they're just big babies. My dog is reactive, so I know how to deal with dogs who need extra care and special protection, including from themselves. I firmly believe every dog deserves love, empathy, and care, even - maybe especially - those that might have been overlooked or dismissed. I have hardly ever met a dog I didn't like, and I can't wait to hang out with yours and give them all the play and love they deserve. I work from home, and I have a flexible schedule. I'm allowed to set my own hours, so I'll be happy to come visit your furbaby whenever they need it. I'm happy to come over and walk your dog, drop in and hang out with them in your home, or both. I unfortunately can't board your dog, nor can I spend the night house-sitting.
“James was very easy going and patient with my puppy Moka. He took her for a nice extended walk, fed her and most of all, allowed her to warm up to him before he took her out.”

“I was so stressed out about not getting a walker for my boy due to the practical blizzard outside. But James was able to make it happen! My heart is happy. 10/10 will rebook! (:”

I currently own 2 large boxer mixes named Ben Franklin and Aretha Franklin! They are my buddies and I just live all dogs! Looking forward to helping care for yours! I work from home for myself and have an adaptable schedule, so I can generally work around pet care client needs. I’m open to working with clients to schedule at their convenience. About: Starting in July, I am available all day! I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I loved and adored as family. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives. I work an 8-5pm job M-F currently in Cleveland. I am a graduate student, which does mean I am relatively busy, However, I am more than willing to try to fit pet-sitting/walking into my schedule. We can talk more about this if you want to book with me! I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. If the client approves, I like to err on the side of reaching out if I have questions or concerns, rather than waiting until they get back. Additionally, having emergency veterinary information is a must, as I am willing to do what is necessary to keep your pet safe.

About: I absolutely love animals! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and even ducks! In my childhood household, we treated our pets as the much-loved members of the family that they were. In my adult life, I have continued this tradition by cherishing my own pets as if they were my children (because they are lol)! Whenever I’m out of town (or just out of the house for the day), I’m constantly thinking of my fur babies and what they might be doing. I love taking care of other peoples’ pets while they’re away because I know the pets love the attention and their parents can feel confidant about stepping out of the house! Whether the pets want to play, snuggle, or keep to themselves, it makes me so happy take care of them and make sure they’re happy and healthy! Pet sitting for me is a full time job! My schedule is very flexible, and it would be my pleasure to watch your fur babies while you’re away! Pets to me are not accessories in the house; they’re cherished members of the family! My priority for my own pets and my clients’ pets is that they are happy, healthy, and loved. It’s important to me that they drink enough water, are eating the right amount of nourishing food, and getting the right amount of play and rest! Beyond that, I like to let the pets take the lead regarding our interactions. If a pet wants snuggles, count me in! If a pet wants space, I can respect that and support them from afar.

About: Hello! I recently moved to CLE for a full-time role post grad. With the travel requirements needed for work I don’t have time for my own pet so would love to be able to provide services for a range of different dogs and cats. I have ownership experience with both large dogs (labradors) and smaller dogs (miniature dachshunds) as well as cats. I grew up on a family farm so I have experience looking after a multitude of different types of animals as well. Taking care of animals is truly a passion of mind and I would love to take care of yours! Currently working full-time so my availability is mostly on weekends. I work from home on Monday and Fridays so could potentially walk or care for animals during those two days as well. I live in an apartment and watch smaller animals at my place from time to time. Also able to go to clients’ homes and watch/walk animals at their place. I currently dog sit for two neighbors in my apartment building and would love to watch even more animals.

I also purchase new toys for others pets to make them feel welcomed and gift them. Treats are also given as well. The most important part to me also is the quality time throughout the day. Dog Park available at my residence.
“Torrey is amazing. She stepped up on short notice and took care of our Athena. She is so flexible and accommodating. She has been a great addition to our dog family.”

About: I grew up with a house filled with adopted and rescued pets including a cat who gave us 3 liters! As if that wasn’t enough for me, I also worked at a dog day care working with multiple dogs at once and catering to each specific need while encouraging proper play. My best friend was my Great Dane/Border Collie who just recently passed on, but he left me all the life lessons I need to care for others! I am available 24/7 with my remote job! I’ll be able to be extremely attentive to all pet needs. I love any and every excuse to get outside and active so no energy level is too much for me! We have a pet friendly apartment with friendly dogs throughout the neighborhood. We have a beautiful front yard as well as parks all around us!
“Taylor did a wonderful job with Alfie! She was available last minute and I was so thankful for her! I’d recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a dog walker. I would absolutely have her walk my dog again!”

About: Hi!
About: I work from home on a flexible schedule and can accommodate mornings, mid-day and evening times. If you’re unsure just ask! :) I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs and understand how important communication and updates are when you trust me with your pet. I work from home full time, so your pet will have plenty of company and attention. Your dog will also have the company of my friendly dog, Paloma, a 2 year old mini Bernedoodle. We have plenty of space and toys to have fun inside, as well as a walkable neighborhood for us to explore. I have multiple dog beds for sharing and an extra crate that can be used if needed.
About: I love dogs and have been around them most of my life. Most recently I was lucky enough to have my yorkie for over 17 years. During your dogs stay with me I will treat them as if they are my own- getting lots of attention, walks, play time, and cuddles. I am committed to making sure your dog is happy, safe and comfortable during their time with me! I currently work from home the majority of the week. I am free on weekends so I can give your pup lots of time and attention! Your dog will be treated like a member of my family during their stay! They will get walks in my dog friendly neighborhood (along with a dog friendly park across the street), and lots of couch snuggles during TV binges. They will get lots of play time and attention!

“I was a bit nervous the first time I left my dog with Clifford, but the experience was perfect. Clifford was thoughtful and attentive. I had a great vacation while getting periodic updates (photos and videos) that eased my anxiety. Planning on a second engagement in two weeks.”
