I have a 2 year old intact German shepherd and my husbands work closed on short notice for 2 weeks so we decided to take a vacation. I was scrambling to find some boarding for him but if you have a large power breed who isn’t neutered than you know it can be difficult to find places that accept them. The only boarding option I could find was a no contact facility where he would have been in a kennel the WHOLE time except for 3 30-1 hr potty breaks which were on a LARGER kennel area. Totally unacceptable to me. That’s when I started looking on Rover and was so glad to find Thomas. Not only does he care for your pet he also puts in the time and energy to exercise them which is so SO important to me. He was super flexible, gave me a ton of updates and still took Bear on walks/runs during this insane 95 degree heatwave we had. I totally trusted that he kept Bear safe during that time (walking in hot weather wise). This is a person who truly cares about animals and takes care of their physical, mental and emotional needs. I don’t know how to add pictures here but if I find out how to I will. Can’t say enough good things.”

About: I have a high-energy dog that has prepared me in all aspects of pet care! I am well-versed in on- and off-leash exercise and have plenty of ideas for indoor enrichment activities. Having raised my own dog from 6 weeks old, I’m familiar with all of the accidents that can happen when pets are home alone. I’ve also cared for elderly and medically-complex dogs. About: There’s never been a time in my life where I haven’t been active. Realizing I could be both; active AND hang out with some furry friends - it was a no brainer for me. I’ve had two of my own dogs for the majority of my life (cat lover as well), so I’ve most definitely been acclimated to all that they may throw at me. About: My husband and I own a very sweet, playful Great Dane/mastiff and a pure bred English Mastiff. We have experience with all kinds of dogs and other animals. We have a large finished upstairs where our dog loves to run and play. We have a large backyard that is fully fenced/gated. We walk daily (in nice weather). We have fun toys to play with and a whole room for your dog to sleep in (instead of a cage) but if your dog prefers a cage we have a huge one he can sleep in (or you can bring your own). “We’re really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. While we were away we received daily updates with photos and it looked like our pup was having a great time. Thanks for taking good care and we look forward to scheduling with you again!”

“Thomas was absolutely awesome ! I am so thankful that we were able to find him. I have a 2 year old intact German shepherd and my husbands work closed on short notice for 2 weeks so we decided to take a vacation. I was scrambling to find some boarding for him but if you have a large power breed who isn’t neutered than you know it can be difficult to find places that accept them. The only boarding option I could find was a no contact facility where he would have been in a kennel the WHOLE time except for 3 30-1 hr potty breaks which were on a LARGER kennel area. Totally unacceptable to me. That’s when I started looking on Rover and was so glad to find Thomas. Not only does he care for your pet he also puts in the time and energy to exercise them which is so SO important to me. He was super flexible, gave me a ton of updates and still took Bear on walks/runs during this insane 95 degree heatwave we had. I totally trusted that he kept Bear safe during that time (walking in hot weather wise). This is a person who truly cares about animals and takes care of their physical, mental and emotional needs. I don’t know how to add pictures here but if I find out how to I will. Can’t say enough good things.”
“This is our second time with them and the longest so far we left Chubb for 3 weeks and they made him feel part of the family during the holiday I got updates every other days a lot of pictures and videos I can tell he had a great time with a lot of play and snuggles so far they have been amazing with him for sure we trust them to watch our dog”
“Carla and her family are incredible! I was in Cleveland for work and unexpectedly needed a dog sitter She was super helpful and understanding. She took my dog for walks every day, even though she barks at every cat or dog she sees when she’s on walks She sent me videos and updates without me having to even ask. I’ve never had a dog sitter before so I was kind of nervous about texting everyday because I didn’t want to be annoying, she willingly sent me updates and even offered to allow me to come visit when I miss her. I definitely recommend! Five stars”

You can tell that this is a family of dog-lovers, which brings so much comfort when leaving your baby behind. They updated us daily with pictures and tidbits on how the stay was going.
