About: Labs have been in my life since I was born, but I got my kitten at age 6, so I'll say that's when my real pet care experience began! Animals are such a significant part of my life that I got my bachelor's degree in zoology. I've practiced dairy goat husbandry, studied monkeys in the Surinamese rainforest, and worked as an animal keeper at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Not only do I understand how to care for animals, but I'm a truly playful and active person. There's nothing better than romping around outside with a pup and wearing one another out! That being said, I helped care for my family dog Farrah in her senior years and during that time we shared some of the most tender and mellow moments. About: I live with Boki, a Russian Blue with strong opinions about when he wants attention and when he absolutely does not. That's good training. I've cared for friends' and family's cats solo while they traveled, including shy and antisocial cats and multi-cat households. My approach is the same every time: I don't push it. Cats decide when they're comfortable, and I'm patient enough to let that happen. Some cats warm up in an hour; some take the whole weekend. Either is fine with me. If your cat hides under the bed the whole time you're gone, I'm not going to take it personally. I'll make sure they're fed, their space is clean, and they know someone's there. That's usually enough.

Erin came and met our cat ahead of time to learn his needs and was very thorough to make sure that she could take care of our sweet boy. I have 3 lil kitties who I love- I can definitely work with any animal ranging from reptiles to horses :) volunteering at sanctuary’s and zoos helped me gain that experience. I work full time, but remote/hybrid. I have the ability to schedule many breaks within my schedule for play time and potty breaks. I can provide as much attention needed for your little pups and/or kitties. Please feel free to shoot me a message to check availability if my calendar is blocked! I do not at this time provide boarding, but I live in a two story duplex! My cats have their own area and I have the ability to keep them separate from other animals if needed. If I am sitting in your home, i’ll make sure to provide enrichment and maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
About: I'm Jessica, new to rover but not new to pet care! I love animals and have a very flexible schedule for walks and drop ins! I grew up with 2 dogs & 2 cats, and currently have a 3 year old cat. I have a lot of experience caring for animals and will ensure your pet is safe with me! I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I walk in the morning or after work regardless and would love for your pet to join! I know how hard it is to leave your pet for an extended amount of time but I can assure your pet will be in good hands, with tons of love, exercise/play, and attention.

When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i was a little girl, they’re an important part of my life. Every dog that visits will receive a bath if requested! Very good with senior pups! I have a very flexible work, as well as my husbands schedule so always there to do potty breaks and just give some love and attention! I have one dog right now, he’s a 6 year old lab. He’s pretty chill, likes to play & would love to have a buddy to play with!
