About: Growing up we always had dogs in our home. I have experience caring for both small, large, and giant breeds. I have a giant breed puppy of my own, which I adore. I walk my own dog and my parent's dogs everyday. I make sure they get their energy out. A tired dog is a happy dog! Currently, my lunch time schedule for visits is full. I am mainly available in the early morning or evenings during the week. During the weekend, I can take care of your dog at any time. If boarding or doggy daycare, I have a fenced in yard at my house your pet could play in. I have toys for fetch and other activities for mental stimulation. I am also used to walking multiple dogs at once, if you have several pets that need exercised! I always have water available for dogs during play time and after walks. I'm available almost every weekend. During the week I currently only have flexibility at in the early morning or in the evening time. However, my husband works from home and we can always try to tag-team to meet your schedule's needs. I have always loved animals! Growing up we had many different kinds. “Dana was so good with my little dog. My dog is 10yrs old and very shy and timid. Dana took her out for a walk every couple of hours for a walk or let her out in yard. She didn't have any peeing accidents. She was so good to her. Dana also updated me everyday and sent me pictures of my dog during her stay. Sugar my dog was comfortable. I knew Sugar wouldn't eat much while I was gone that's the way she is. I came home a day early yet I let Dana keep the whole amount as tip. I would definitely use Dana again.”

And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

About: Pets have been in my life since I was a little kid. My family has always had a dog and I have a cat that I take care of like she’s my baby! I’ve always loved animals and being around fur babies. To me pets aren’t just animals you have they are an extension of your family! I work a part time job at the kenwood mall during the summer/seasonally and am a student at UC studying education in hopes of becoming a teacher! My availability is pretty flexible during the week Monday, Wednesday, Friday I only have one class from 11-12:10 so I will be readily available for virtually the entire day. Availability for Tuesday/ Thursday varies because my classes range from 11-2 which isn’t ideal for potty breaks or feedings but am able to negotiate if you have a specific situation that would fit my schedule on those two day. During the weekend im free whenever and can do mornings, overnight care, potty breaks, special feeding care, etc. While at home I let our dog out, give treats, feed, and clean the cat's littler box, feed the cat, replenish the water supply in their fountain, etc. I have a senior dog so playing isn’t in her cards anymore but I’m happy to sit with senior dogs and play with younger dogs. I also love walks and will take your pups for as long of a walk as you’d like. I even walk my cat in a pet stroller when the weather is nice!

About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away. When I was between jobs as a teenager, I briefly worked for a local company that took care of pets on the daily. I've taken care of puppies, small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs who need meds and extra patience, etc. I have a huge heart and am a very empathetic person, especially when it comes to animals of any kind. I have always had a dog or dogs in my family, but am currently pet-less so I'll have all my love to give for your furbabies! I am currently between jobs and looking to use this for some gigs while looking for a steadier job. This of course means that I have plenty of flexibility with time and am perfect for pets who need a little extra hang time! I currently do not offer care in my own home, but am more than willing to do whatever you need in your home! I will always respect your boundaries no matter what.

About: I’ve always been a dog person. I took care of my neighbor’s dogs in high school and did a lot of housesitting during and after college. I’m excited to expand my opportunity here. I’ve invested a lot of time training both of our dogs since they were puppies. I also love hiking & live near several parks and trails. I am in between jobs so my schedule is very flexible! I usually walk my own dog once a day but that is easy to work around. We live in a small apartment so I will always travel to you. I don’t have enough space to bring your pets here. Working remotely, I make sure to get out for a minimum of 2 walks a day and I am flexible.

I also know how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind. My goal is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and safe while maintaining as much of their normal routine as possible.

About: I have spent over 4 years volunteering at animal shelters with both dogs and cats. I have also grown up with both dogs and cats - primarily small breeds. At the shelter I specialize in dogs, and have worked with breeds ranging from Cane Corsos to Toy Poodles. I like to both play and relax with dogs, and enjoy dog walking as part of an active lifestyle. I work full time, but WFH 3 days a week. The weekends are when I am most free, and prefer afternoons/evenings. I can be flexible if you reach our! I will check on your pet(s)' food and water supply in addition to making sure they use the facilities. I enjoy brushing pets as well!

About: I've been lucky to be raised in a dog household and have always been surrounded by dogs- both big and small! I truly treat every dog as my own and give them the love and care they deserve. I have experience with large breeds (I had a great Dane growing up!), puppies and senior dogs. I work fully remote so I'll be at home most of the day to care for and play with throughout the day. I'm available most weekends when I'm not traveling a few times throughout the year. I have an elderly dog, Titus, who has lived with other dogs most of his life and gets along well with all animals (except those pesky squirrels!). I have a fenced in yard where, weather-depending, I leave the door open to allow them to go in & out as they please. About: Growing up we always had dogs in our home. I have experience caring for both small, large, and giant breeds. I have a giant breed puppy of my own, which I adore. “Chrissy was great with my dog! I'm still new to rover.com and was a little nervous to leave my dog with someone I didn't know. HOWEVER, I felt comfortable with Chrissy from the start and was actually excited that Mr. Miyagi (the dog) got to stay someplace where I felt he'd be really cared for. And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”
