About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was little. We used to have a golden retriever and I had a lot of responsibility for him. We now have several cats who are all very needy. I always make sure they are taken care of. Additionally, I love taking care of my brothers dogs, which are the dogs in the pictures above. So I spend that time hanging out or just lounging with my family and my dog and I feel as though I can give that love to other fur babies I have a fenced in backyard and I also always go outside with the dog in order to make sure they do their business as well as for safety reasons in case of emergencies. My dog also stays in a leash at all times because I believe in not letting her roam too far away when on walks. About: I have experience with both puppies and seniors. Includes potty training obedience training, dominance training. I’ve worked at a humane society and owned rescue dogs. My approach is to find each individual dog’s motivation to help them grow, learn, and mature. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and enjoy walking and taking them on adventures. I do community work within my school district and would love the added opportunities to fit my love for dogs in my routine more. With dogs non-verbal queues are very important in understanding behavior, needs, and temperament. I pay attention give them good food exercise is a must! When dealing with new dogs, speaking with the owner and what they want is top priority. Setting goals for our poochie pals allows a measurement for tracking success.
About: My name is Jordan Harris and I am an animal lover hoping to be able to make a difference in you and your pets life! I have worked with animals in my daily career for the last 10 years, beginning as a kennel technician in a large boarding facility, working in doggy daycare, grooming, and basic obedience dog training. I was promoted to General Manager in 2017 and in 2021 I left my job at the boarding facility to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. I currently am a Clinic Office Manager at a veterinary clinic where we care for cats, dogs, and exotic pets. After working in boarding for so many years, I understand that not all pets do well in a boarding facility. I am hoping to offer families and their pets the peace of mind and comfort for your pet however I can, in your home. I currently work full time, 4 days a week. I am free on the weekends and would be more than happy to discuss my weekly availability. 🙂 I do have a 5 year old daughter that may come along from time to time; however only if necessary. If your pet doesn’t do well with children please let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. I am comfortable dispensing medication/strict diets, and handling dogs with special needs such as behavioral, medical, etc. Tell me how your pet prefers their attention and exercise and we will do it their way!
About: I've taken care of my late dog Freckles for 14 years. Walks and feedings every day. Played with her as a puppy. I'm available any time except Thursday and Friday nights until 9 pm as I have a scheduled job during that time. I currently work part time and from home, so I have plenty of time to spend with your doggo. I will occasionally go out just for groceries. Food, water, lots of pets, cuddles and playtime. I want to make sure your furry friend is happy and comfy during your absence. Dog walks will be daily.
About: I had dogs growing up as a child and have taken care of them on and off throughout my whole life, but some specific examples of pet care include: taking care of my Grandparents 2 dogs when they no longer could, taking care of my best friends dogs (and many cats) when she goes on vacation, & of course taking care of my 2 cats that I am currently a mom of (I have had cats throughout my whole adult life). I understand the importance of allowing animals to get comfortable with you and come to you on their own terms and not trying to force them to let you pet them or play with them. I am comfortable taking the time to slowly encourage an animal to be comfortable in my presence. I am currently working part-time while I finish my degree, so I am available fairly often to help take care of your beloved animals. I am extremely reliable and I am often available for last minute situations and happy to help. I have experience and am comfortable with dog walking, picking up waste, and crating dogs when needed. I am willing to assist with cleaning litter boxes as needed and am willing to take time to play with and give your animals attention and love while you are away from the home.
About: My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends for years. Ive had many different pets as a kid such as hamsters, dogs. cats, bunnies and a "miniature" lol (so we thought) potbelly pig. I have done stop in's to feed, let out, walk, overnighters, walks, vet appointments and grooming appointments etc, I am open to help with what you need for your pet. Your pet will always have lots of attention and affection. I am currently working Mon, wed and Friday till 3pm. I have Tuesday and Thursday available as well as weekends free. I can be very flexible. Both my dogs are rescue dogs, so I always worry when they go to a new place. I had no need to worry. When we did our meet and greet, they did well. During the time they stayed with Erika she sent me pictures and updates regularly. There was a small issue with one who has a sensitive stomach and she immediately reached out to me to confirm how to handle. She was willing to give a probiotic every day, to keep my boy on his schedule. I appreciate all those details very much. It is such a relief to find a good honest person to take care of my pups when I need to be away. I will definitely use Erika again.”
