I’ve never had a dog before, let alone a puppy, and I was of course more than anxious about leaving Ozzy overnight somewhere he’s never been! Teah assured me he’d be fine, and he was! He made buds right away with Teah’s two pups, and had a grand old time playing in the huge fenced-in backyard. Many pictures were sent to me during Ozzy’s stay and I really appreciated that constant communication assuring me he was having fun. Teah was also awesome at making sure Ozzy was crated and comfortable at night and fed three times a day to be consistent with my training. About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I got my dog in college and have been dedicated to his care no matter what. Through moves and full time jobs, he has always been #1. He is a senior now and needs a little extra attention in regards to mobility, so I am comfortable with that. When he was younger he had BOUNDLESS energy as well and was eager to please. I’ve seen both sides and love them and all the traits in between Pet care is a 24/7 deal. They give us unconditional love so we should always be dedicating ourselves to the same. Daily walks, exercise and for sniffing are both beneficial and also just someone to sit by and patrol the neighborhood I care for pets how their owners would because that’s what will make the dog the most comfortable with a new person in their environment. “Alexa was truly a cat whisperer with my two cats. She approached them on their terms (because cats don’t always warm up immediately!!) and I was rewarded with many pictures and videos of both my cats enjoying her company. She made sure to play and snuggle the cats, giving them fulfilling visits alongside the basic food/litter necessities. I also appreciated that she paid careful attention to the litter habits. I have two boys, and those are known to get urinary problems as they are older. She did a wonderful job communicating her visits and sent plenty of pictures and videos so I could get my cat fix from afar! About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I got my first cat at 3 years old. Then I trained dogs competitive in Obedience, Showmanship and Agility as a Child and Teenager. My years of animal handling experience allows me to be engaging with animals without overstimulating them, creating a trusting and loving animal-caretaker relationship. Dogs from different households will be separated at all times. Dogs are crated in climate controlled areas. My only note is that my senior dog probably would have done better being boarded overnight at a home with fewer overnight guests. She seemed extra tired after the long Easter weekend. But it's not a criticism, it's more a note that may help other boarders decide if that's what's best for their dogs.”

If you are looking for a sitter or someone to board your dog Sandy is the go to lady. She allow you to first go and have your dog meet her dogs and she's right on the ball.
