About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and routines—from high-energy pups to laid-back seniors. I offer both in-home overnight stays and drop-in visits, depending on what works best for you and your pet. I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m also very respectful of your home and will leave everything clean and just as you left it. My goal is simple: happy pets and your peace of mind! I currently work 3 mornings a week and there is always someone home when I am away. Your pet would be able to freely move about the house at all times unless you request they be crated. We have a fenced yard with a pool that has a secondary fence around it to keep your pet safe. I am able to follow your instructions for care and to provide a fun and safe experience for your pet.
