About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I got my dog in college and have been dedicated to his care no matter what. Through moves and full time jobs, he has always been #1. He is a senior now and needs a little extra attention in regards to mobility, so I am comfortable with that. When he was younger he had BOUNDLESS energy as well and was eager to please. I’ve seen both sides and love them and all the traits in between Pet care is a 24/7 deal. They give us unconditional love so we should always be dedicating ourselves to the same. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

Make sure they always have water and go out at required times . Walks and eats at same times . Has toys that will be checked and not choke on.Brush if needed and bath.
