“We have been booking with Heather for our 5 animals for years now. Heather and her husband watch our 4 dogs and cat once a year for our vacation. I schedule my vacations around them now because I don’t trust anyone else with my kids. I love that they always send daily updates with pictures and let me know any concerns they have (my one dog is getting old and stiff. Heather’s husband told me that he was bumping into things and might be developing some eyesight issues). They are very attentive. One year my cat and one dog got into a tiff (as they do sometimes) and Heather immediately contacted me and told me about it and told me she separated them to cool down. I have a very nervous rescue that does not like anyone but I get pictures of her laying with Heather and her husband. I have only ever seen this dog hug my husband or I in the 3 years we have had her but she hugs them. This tells me all I need to know since Ivy doesn’t trust anyone. My dogs seem to feel comfortable when I leave them there and not panicked. My cat and older dog take medicine daily and Heather gets my stubborn cat to take her medicine with no problem. About: I adopted my guy Riddick in 2013. Last Thanksgiving, we said goodbye after a rapid decline of suspected lymphoma of the thymus. He was a good fella who kept me company on hikes in the woods, slept and paced with me during my 36-hour labor, laid and watched his baby human nurse for nights on end, and he aged into an easy going, sneaky snack stealing fella. I miss him, and I know I loved caring for him yet I am not in a position to have my own pet - so I want to keep your beloved family furry friend company when they need it most so they’re the best for you! In my time with Riddick, I’ve dealt with 2-3 hour hikes, short walks, yard clean up, oral medication, topical medication, baths and brushing, prescription diets, and more. He was a solid companion for the dogs I’ve fostered for local rescues, as well. I hope my experience will help guide you to make the best decision for your furry friend and family’s needs. I am not actively working full-time, I have an alternating parenting schedule where I have my daughter full time one week and the next her dad has her. I wake up at 4AM everyday for exercise, breakfast, and coffee. I enjoy filming and editing video footage of action sports in the evenings. I am available during school hours the weeks I have my child, and the other week I am available as early as 6AM until about 2-3PM. I work on tues, wed, thurs and sat 2-12am. So I am available every morning really but Sun, mon, and fridays I am free all day. I am a very active, reliable, hardworking person. “We have been booking with Heather for our 5 animals for years now. Heather and her husband watch our 4 dogs and cat once a year for our vacation. I schedule my vacations around them now because I don’t trust anyone else with my kids. I love that they always send daily updates with pictures and let me know any concerns they have (my one dog is getting old and stiff. Heather’s husband told me that he was bumping into things and might be developing some eyesight issues). They are very attentive. One year my cat and one dog got into a tiff (as they do sometimes) and Heather immediately contacted me and told me about it and told me she separated them to cool down. I have a very nervous rescue that does not like anyone but I get pictures of her laying with Heather and her husband. I have only ever seen this dog hug my husband or I in the 3 years we have had her but she hugs them. This tells me all I need to know since Ivy doesn’t trust anyone. My dogs seem to feel comfortable when I leave them there and not panicked. My cat and older dog take medicine daily and Heather gets my stubborn cat to take her medicine with no problem. Your pets are safe with them.”

About: I’ve had a passion for caring for animals since I was a child. I have 25+ years experience ranging from dog walking to in-home boarding. I have two dogs of my own. I am also well-experienced with senior dogs and bring a very calm demeanor. I am currently taking a break from corporate life and have flexible availability! I am typically available any time M-F, though occasionally I travel on weekends. I have a fully fenced in yard with two dogs at home. My dogs are social and love meeting new friends! About: Since I work from home, I'm able to provide plenty of companionship, attention, supervision, and flexibility throughout the day. I care for every pet as if they were part of my own family. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent companionship, supervision, and attention throughout the day. I follow each pet’s individual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and playtime, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re in my care. I’m happy to maintain their normal routines and provide plenty of exercise, play, affection, and one-on-one attention. I also understand that pets can feel anxious when their owners are away, so I provide a calm, patient environment and give them time to adjust.
