About: Cats are still seemingly new to me, since they are so different from dogs. I lived with my best friend and her cat, Ginger for two years. We got along well, especially when I was the one feeding her dinner when I got home from work. I even was even able to start interpreting her different meows. Even, though cats are still an enigma to me. I would treasure the opportunity to help you with yours.
“Brianne did an amazing job with my pets! I felt very good leaving them in her hands while I was on vacation. She sent great photos and updates while I was away and the kitties were clearly well taken care of while I was gone. She even did a good job with Sushi-- my more anxious cat.”

About: My husband and I have owned dogs and cats our whole lives and I have been taking care of other people’s pets since I was in high school and have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My goal is to provide dependable care and regular updates so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. My husband and I are both approved rover pet care takers so one or both of us may be the one to help! I’m a stay at home mom with a husband who works remote so I’m very flexible! This allows me to provide consistent care, frequent potty breaks, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Your pet will receive plenty of supervision and companionship while in my care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet's routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided. I always keep pets supervised, ensure doors and gates are secure, and pay close attention during walks and outdoor time. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
“So glad I came across Lindsay, I had to head out of town last minute and she came in clutch. We weren’t able to do a meet and greet beforehand but we were able to figure something out and everything turned out fine. Will definitely keep her mind for the future!”
“Katarina was amazing! She really cares about the pets she is watching. She was fantastic watching our kitten and senior kitty for an entire week. I loved receiving the photos after each check in and it looked like the kitties were having a blast. She made sure each cat was comfortable and received the care they needed. Thank you for being such a wonderful cat sitter!! It helped ease our nerves while being away for so long!”

“Took great care of my cat (Coco) and turtle (Myrtle). Even went to extra efforts to make sure Coco got her meds in a timely manner. I'll be hiring Nathan again in the near future!”

About: I understand proper feedings for dogs, giving meds, and administration of first aid. I'm able to take the dog(s) on walks, supervise potty/play in backyard, and basic/intermediate grooming. I will play with them and give them the full attention needed to keep them happy and healthy. I’ve owned multiple dogs and cared for cats of relatives all my life. I've owned dogs, birds, ferrets, fish, reptiles, and more. My experience is professional and independent, from doggy daycares/boarding/grooming facilities to having clients that are family/friends. I do have a part-time job at the moment with a non-consistent schedule but would work pet care into my schedule on Rover and be honest about my availability with clients for both our benefits! I know all pet owners have their own preferences so I make sure to follow all the rules even if you don’t want your furball on your couch. I want to ensure my clients are comfortable with me caring for their pets in their own home.
“Augusta was absolutely wonderful while watching our three cats during a recent trip to Nashville. She went above and beyond in every way—cleaning up spilled litter and food without being asked, and taking such great care of our babies. We loved the consistent daily updates with adorable photos and videos that truly put our minds at ease while we were away. Augusta followed every instruction perfectly and made sure each cat was comfortable and cared for. We could tell she genuinely loves animals, and we are so grateful for the kindness and attention she gave to our fur family. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, detail-oriented sitter! She is our new go-to sitter, hands down! ❤️”

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life, and now that I’m recently retired, I have the time to give them the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I treat every dog like part of the family—whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, or just relaxing together. With a calm, patient nature and a flexible schedule, I can focus fully on your pet’s needs and routines. You can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, happy, and loved like one of my own. I am recently retired and am available all of the time. I currently have two small dogs of my own and watching an additional dog would be no trouble at all. If you dog stays with me, they will be treated just like my own pet. I am able to walk them, feed them special diets, or administer oral medication. I am home almost all of the time and can give them the attention they need.
“Sarah was incredibly thorough and made sure that my dog felt comfortable in a new space! Thank you so much for your time and giving Lou Lou an incredibly fun experience.”

“Madison is so sweet and was lovely to my puppy Willow! Her home is very dog friendly and her dog is great with puppies. He was exhausted when he got home! Thank you Madison!”

“Pat was amazing with our dog Lucy. Our daycare had to go over until the morning due to getting home super late and she was very accommodating. Lucy had a blast playing with a new friend! We will definitely be back. Thank you!”

About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! I have rescued several cats and found loving homes after getting them medical care (I always keep in touch). One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. I also provided supportive care for my two eldest cats (11years) after their major surgeries (perineal urethrostomy and gallbladder removal). I am also in the process of obtaining my wildlife rehabilitation permit for I always seem to be brought animals to care for and I would like to do more for them than just transporting to a rehabilitator! I have a lot of room at my house which includes the finished basement area with separate rooms, a mudroom, a large fenced in backyard, and kennels if needed. I'm willing to travel to you, or care for your animals here! All my animals are friendly (successfully introduced and integrated) but if yours needs some privacy I can absolutely provide it. I'm here to help, I hope it's clear how important your fur babies would be to me! I would love to make whatever it is you need happen. I am currently a stay at home mom with my own fur babies. My day starts at 6AM when I wake up to feed and walk the dogs and check to see if the cats need anything. I would be more than happy to care for your animal(s) here or get out of the house and care for them in their home! I have a large fenced in yard, a finished basement with separate rooms, a separate mudroom, and kennels if needed! My 4 cats and 2 dogs roam the house and would love to make new friends, but if your animals are shy, we have plenty of space to accommodate. All I ask is for a clear set of instructions if caring for your pet in your home and you can expect those instructions to be carried out with love and respect for your animal(s) and property. I am also insured for pet care/housesitting through PCI.
“Holly was able to accommodate my very last minute booking request and I am so thankful! She took Lucy for a few walks throughout the day and I could tell that Lucy was well taken care of. Thank you again, I really appreciate it!!”

“Catherine and Sean are very accommodating with sudden changes in my schedule. She sends regular updates and pictures about how my puppy is doing. She ensures my pup is mentally and physically stimulated. Weretlucky to use their services!”

“Brittany was great with Bruno and super communicative throughout the day. She was flexible for a last minute booking and kind and we felt totally comfortable leaving our dog there. Would absolutely book again!”

“She was very kind and respondent to requested service at last minute. She definitely seemed like she knew what she was doing, not only does she watch them and do the necessities she goes above and beyond and trains them too while under her care Highly recommend!!”

“Okay, so, I never leave my dog with a sitter. Normally, I am the sitter. But life gets hectic, holidays happen, and I needed to drop my fur baby off somewhere safe. She means the whole world to me and I was petrified of leaving her with a stranger but my gut told me she'd be fine. My gut was right! Nibbler seems very content, and Tyler updated me about her regularly while she stayed with him. She and I are happy as clams. I would definitely recommend him to take care of your four-legged friends and family!”

About: I’ve had numerous gigs babysitting neighbors pets over the years; from dogs and cats to turtles and fish. I love spending time with all animals and I’m always looking out for the happiness and safety of your animals no matter the size :) Currently I’m a student at The University of Akron which gives me spare time in between classes. I’m usually free during the week and have no problem taking a break in my day to go check on your pets! Growing up with several dogs over the years, I’m very familiar with showing affection and maintaining the needs of pets. We routinely walk our dogs twice a day and make sure to feed morning and night. I love spending time outside with my dogs and getting all their energy out before bedtime.
“Nathan did a great job with my new rescue dog who was scared and timid of a stranger in the home. He was patient and able to win him over to make a new friend. Will definitely use Nathan in the future.”

About: I am and have been vegan since I was a child. I’ve always had a deep love for and towards animals ever since I can remember. I like to be in animals energy and presence. Even when giving “care” it’s enjoyable and pleasing for me to offer that for your pets. I bring a calm and peaceful vibe to any situation. I want to be a safe and comfortable space for your animals. ~ If you book the house sitting option, I am only available to sit throughout the day. No sleepovers. I currently am a part time student studying vet tech with a fine arts minor! I have a great amount of free time and flexible schedule to accommodate “different” jobs and care. I live in an apartment with 3 cats. I don’t have any closed off areas at the moment and my cats free roam around the house.
About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I've cared for a variety of pets: seniors, puppies, cats, kittens, high energy, shy or anxious. I’m patient, gentle, and always focused on making pets feel safe and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I adapt to each pet’s needs and routine. I treat every animal like they’re my own and always keep their comfort, safety, and happiness as my top priorities. I currently am a pharmacy technician full time but I typically have 3 days off weekly and time before and after work available for your pets needs. I’m someone who believes pets deserve the same comfort, safety, and love they get at home. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just being “watched”—they’re being cared for thoughtfully and responsibly.
“Katarina is an excellent dog walker and I am extremely happy with her services! She goes above and beyond her expectations every time she comes by and takes care of my girls!! I have a 7year old female (overweight, lol) boxer/Pitt mix and an 8 month old VERY energetic female Rottweiler and my girls absolutely love Katarina!!! She handles both of them with ease and professionalism! If you are searching for someone to come to your house and take care of your precious fur baby/babies, look nowhere else Katarina is your person!!”
About: I love dogs! I’ve taken care of family dogs for 15 years and will occasionally pet sit for friends as well. I’ve had my own dog for 3 years. She’s a shelter dog that has anxiety and isn’t the best with new people. She’s helped me learn how to approach new dog friends and that every dog is unique in their own way. I love to go on walks and meet new dogs! Im happy to help you out by either checking on your dog during the day or helping them get some exercise outside! I’m between jobs right now and have ample amount of time to check in on or walk dogs during the day! Anytime between 8-5pm will work for me at the moment! I do not plan on having pets inside my home. But I’d be happy to follow the instructions that any homeowner provides to me for their home. I will respect what is said since I know all animals are different and their owners know them best!
“Marie & Jorge love my Rockie like their own. It gives me a lot of ease when traveling and / or away from him all day. I love getting pictures of him during his walks and when he is at day care making friends. I highly recommend them. 😊”

“We were very pleased with Augusta. She took good care of Maisie while we were gone. We look forward to having her take care of our dog again the next time we travel.”

About: My family has always had animals, and I've always loved taking care of them. Dogs, cats, birds, the whole nine yards. I've been around pure-breds, mutts, strays, elderly animals, young animals, a whole range, and I've always been very close with all of them. The most direct experience I've ever had was helping raise and train my mother's dog Ivan, a big American Bulldog with German Shepherd and Siberian Husky heritage, from near-birth to nine years old. Beyond that, I've helped care for my grandmother's many dogs, including Jasper, who is pictured in my profile picture. I'm currently on summer break between my Junior and Senior year of college, so I have plenty of time to care for animals at most points during the week. I generally like to keep Sundays and Mondays open, but I'm otherwise totally free to work. I'm a fairly relaxed pet owner myself, but I know when animals need to be taken seriously. As someone who helped raise a moderately antisocial 100 lbs. dog once, I know it's not all sunshine and rainbows. That being said, I'm more than loving and compassionate, and will do everything in my power to make sure your animals feel loved and cared for when I'm with them.
About: I have experience caring for cats and dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pets unique needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, or relaxing with plenty of belly rubs, I’m happy to provide personalized care that keeps them comfortable and happy. I’m experienced with feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, basic grooming like brushing, administering oral medications when needed, and following each pet’s normal routine. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive interactions to help dogs feel safe while their owners are away.Your dog’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. My current lifestyle is very adaptable, which allows me to provide dependable, personalized care for every pet. I have a flexible schedule and can easily plan my day around your pet’s routine, whether that means morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening visits. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so making sure they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need is something I genuinely look forward to. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, and playtime, and carefully follow any instructions you leave. I’ll also treat your home with respect and send regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring hands.
About: I'm the guy everyone asks to pet sit because I never say no! I'm reliable, attentive, and patient and never met an animal I didn't like. I'm a freelance artist which gives me loads of flexibility when it comes to scheduling. Short notice is fine. Life throws curve balls sometimes, and I'm here to help. I abide by the golden rule, and treat all animals as if they were my own family. I pay attention to details and follow all specific instructions for our special friends!
“Wonderful , very patient person. My apartment gave her a hard time and they were closed Easter Sunday. She was so flexible with my apartment and my changes. My dog was safe and well when I returned. I would book her again.”

About: I grew up always having dogs in the household, but currently do not have any. However, my wife and I have cats. Five to be precise, lol. We've also helped around 40 stray cats over the years get spayed, neutered, or rehomed. It's a sad, never ending battle, but always worth it! I also donate to local shelters and non-profits when I have the funds. Things I offer depending on which service: - Daily walks - Potty breaks, up to 1-5 times per day - Combing at least once per stay - Waste removal - Medication - Play time - Treats! I hope through Rover I am able to bond with your pup or kitty and build friendship & trust with your family.

“First let me start off by saying when you first meet Isabel you automatically know that she is a cheerful caring person. Zoe stayed at Isabel's for a little over a week. Isabel was very good about giving us updates and pictures about the status of Zoe. And all of the updates and pictures Zoe always look content and comfortable. When we got home from our long vacation Zoe was very tired and exhausted! and so were we. So that is exactly what we were hoping for. We will definitely be using Isabel in the future for all of our dog sitting needs and I would highly recommend her to anyone I come in contact with!”

“WOW where do I start as words are hard to find for a dog sitter that cares and takes care of your dog like her very own! I have used Mary's services previously with amazing results and so glad she was available again for our trip ! I get continued updates with pictures throughout each day providing me piece of mind about my fur baby! I cannot say enough of her professionalism, attention care, love and affection provided when I cannot be available to give it ! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a worry free environment for your four legged family member! Thank you so much Holly Winning 🙂”

“Absolutely amazing, very friendly and amazing with our 2 dogs. She stepped in when a different rover provider could no longer care for our dogs during our vacation. Elysia sent us many pictures and videos and kept us up to date, putting our mind at ease. We highly recommend her and will be booking again!”

About: Hi! My name is Dayne, and I’m a 22 year old college football player with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve grown up around pets my entire life, and spending time with them has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Right now I have a German Shepherd and a Beagle, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I actually trained my German Shepherd myself from the time he was a puppy, and seeing him grow into such a well behaved, obedient dog has been incredibly rewarding. That experience taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding how every dog learns a little differently. Being a college athlete has also taught me the importance of being dependable, responsible, and sticking to a routine. Those are qualities I bring with me whenever I’m taking care of someone else’s pet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or just keeping your dog company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re getting the attention and care they deserve. I also have experience with more than just dogs. I grew up with an Umbrella Cockatoo that’s still part of my family’s life today, so I’m familiar with caring for birds. I also own a Bearded Dragon, which has given me experience caring for reptiles as well. I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful because they’re family. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, make sure they feel safe and comfortable, and always follow your care instructions. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m a college football player, so all of my athletic commitments are done in the mornings. I also take all of my classes online, which gives me the rest of the day to fully focus on the dogs in my care. My schedule is very structured, and I’m home the majority of the day outside of morning workouts. My own dogs are properly exercised every single day. We go to the dog park, on long walks, and even hikes when the weather is nice. I make sure they are well run and mentally stimulated so they’re balanced and happy. They are fed twice a day with high quality dog food, and I stay consistent with their health needs. My German Shepherd gets joint supplements, and both my Shepherd and Beagle get salmon oil daily. I take their care seriously, and I would treat your dog the exact same way. Being an athlete, I’m already used to routine, discipline, and responsibility. That carries over into how I care for animals. Your dog won’t just be “watched” they’ll be exercised, cared for, and paid attention to. I live in a 1600 square foot home with plenty of space for dogs to move around comfortably. I have a large dog crate available if your dog is crate trained or needs their own quiet space. I also have two friendly, well socialized dogs who love to play and will keep your dog company. Safety is always my top priority. I’m experienced with large breeds and strong dogs, and I understand proper leash control, structure, and supervision. I keep a clean, organized home and always make sure dogs are monitored, comfortable, and secure. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I don’t take that lightly.
