“Dan and Denise are AWESOME!! I had a family emergency during the coronavirus crisis and had to find a sitter for my brother's six year old pitbull, Blue, ASAP. I went on Rover.com and sent an email to Dan at 3:00 A.M. asking if he could take care of Blue for us, not just for a few days but almost a month! To my surprise, Dan answered me immediately! We arranged for a "greet and meet" the next day and fortunately Dan and Denise were able to take Blue in that very same day. I was so afraid Blue was going to have separation anxiety and be distressed since he has always been with my brother - that fear quickly subsided with Dan and Denise reassuring me he would be well looked after and they had taken care of many, many dogs, including pitties. Well, Blue was one SPOILED pup during his stay! Dan and Denise have a beautiful home, a large fenced in yard for their doggie guests to play in and the T.L.C. is first class! Each day, I would receive a text update and either a video or picture from Denise and Dan showing Blue running in the yard, snoozing in bed, hanging out in the living room or laying next to Denise in her office. I was able to go see Blue several times during his extended stay and he was always content and happy! I cannot thank Dan and Denise enough for their kindness to Blue and our family during this difficult time and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them !!”

About: I have been caring for pets of various kinds for over 20 years. I have a spacious yard and house with room to play and snuggle and a child and 2 dogs who would love to give your pet attention. I’m currently on maternity leave for the next few months and home on the weekends so I am available and around to play all day and night. I have a fenced yard and 2 dogs of my own. About: I enjoy cats and dogs as I have had my own, currently pet sit for my roommates cats while she’s on vacation. Cuddle puddles are my favorite pastime Evenings and weekends are preferred, can be flexible. I can do drop ins anytime past 6pm on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Emergency calls can also be arranged. I care for pets by slowly introducing myself, first by smell then when comfortable, by touch. I give treats when warranted, but ensure no over feeding/snacking. At a very young age I was introduced the opportunity to petsit for dogs and cats/kittens in my family. I run my own social media marketing agency from home, so your pups will never be left alone for long stretches. I’m around throughout the day to give them playtime, potty breaks, and all the love they need. I’m available for boarding everyday but Tuesday’s and walks or drop-ins on weekdays after 2pm. I have a secure fenced yard and one friendly puppy who love making new pals and is crate trained. Your fur baby will get plenty of exercise, safe outdoor time, and supervised play. For example, she communicated each day, sending a handful of photos of our dog, who she was hired to walk, but also taking the extra step to send photos of our cat who happened to greet her at the door as well. Another day while walking Murphy, she offered to move our car out of the driveway because the house next door was performing construction and she wanted to assure our car would be safe from the flying debris. Finally, on the last day of her walking job I had sent her a last-minute request, but she had already left the house. Regardless, she moved things around so she could come back in a couple hours to perform the request...even taking our pup out again, just to be safe. Mona is everything you look for in a dog walker. I'm so happy to have her nearby for the next time I need someone to walk our pup.”

About: Dogs, cats and helping people all make me happy. I’ve lived with at least one dog since I was 4 years old after adopting our first family dog from the north shore animal league. I’ve had 3 years of fostering experience for the queens ASPCA where my aunt volunteered. I rehabbed overweight dogs and sick dogs into shape and health to be adopted to their forever homes. We had 2 foster failures our bond was so strong we had to keep. I currently have 3 dogs and one cat all rescues. I always form an immediate bond with any pet I meet and promise to take care of your pet like they are my own. I understand the hesitation in trusting others with your pets and proudly guarantee the best care possible. I am gladly available weekdays both mornings and afternoons as well as anytime needed on the weekends and/or holidays. I do work a full time job second shift 3pm -11pm Monday through Friday excluding holidays. I work in Hicksville for the school district doing security. She deals with significant anxiety and back-leg pain, so I was nervous about leaving her in a new space with a stranger, but I had nothing to worry about. She settled in quickly and even felt comfortable enough to trick Gerald into getting off the couch so she could steal his spot. Although she’s usually reluctant to be active, she went on several walks with him. Gerald was also great about sending regular photos and updates, and very flexible when I ran late for pickup.
