The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

About: I have taken care of my own pets as well as pets of family and friends. I currently have two dogs, Sargent and Spock, and a cat named Chip. About: I do love dogs but. I am a cat person. I travel for work so I haven't gotten another since my last three years ago. My best friend told me she still can't believe I haven't because "Jill" and "cats" are like "peanut butter and jelly" in her head. I got my last two cats, a brother and sister, as kittens in high school and loved them so hard for 12 and 15 years. Max had three urinary blockages and after the last, he just couldn't bounce back. And Jinx had kidney disease that progressed to failure. So I have some experience with prescription food and medications as well as giving subcutaneous fluids. About: I currently own two dogs a mini Australian Shepard and a cocker spaniel. But, my family is a huge dog loving family and I have also owned labs, retrievers, and collies. I have a fenced backyard with a doggy door that holds about an acre of land and I live on a very quiet road with hiking trails across from my house that I bring my dogs into all the time! I’m work 3 times a week at Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury. I can leave during my breaks to tend to your pets. If they are staying at my home I have a doggy door and fenced in backyard. And then the remainder of the week I am free! I have a doggy door inside my home with a fenced in backyard for the 3 days I can’t be at home all day long. All other days I would love to take the dogs hiking and make sure they have a great time! I do own two dogs that are very friendly. But they can also be seperated into my basement if other dog is not friends with them. I also have a lot of experience with cat sitting my neighbors cats.

I work part time at an animal rescue, and much of my day is empty. I do not work Wednesdays or Thursdays. I have limited availability on Fridays and Saturdays I will respect your pets boundaries, and will always be sure to keep your home clean and comfortable. Our front and back yard is fenced in and we are set back from the road. There is plenty of room to run and play. As for feeding; All dogs and/or cats will be fed separately. This includes treats.
About: Growing up, I had a Lab and then a Boxer and two cats. I've also helped my aunt at the doggie daycare she runs out of her home where she often has more than 10 dogs at a time. Everything from a Great Pyrenees to German Shepherds to Doodles to Yorkies. And it's always so much fun! The care I'll give your pets will really depend on them and their needs. “Ryan EXCEEDED my expectations! He has an intuitive way with dogs. He is very knowledgable about dogs & dog behavior. Ryan is the real deal-- a true animal lover & kind, decent human being. He communicated well with pics and updates during my dog's visit. During our initial meeting I felt an instant rapport he had with my dog that put me at ease. His home is VERY dog-centric! The visiting dogs are not confined and are free to mingle and find their own place to relax. There are ample dog beds, couches, human beds and floor space for lounging and sleeping. I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

When I left Fin there, I did not worry, and that is saying something, as I was flying across the country, and leaving my dog in his care. I got very frequent updates and photos on how Fin was doing. About: Ever since I was young, I have had a strong love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own. Over the years, I have pet-sat for neighbors and friends, and I always enjoy caring for and spending time with their pets. At college I am part of a club where we work with and volunteer at the local animal shelters. There are photos on my profile that highlight some of the events on campus I have volunteered at to raise money for the puppies at the local animal shelter. I do also have experience with horses. My experience has strengthened my passion for working with animals and reinforced my commitment to providing them with attentive, compassionate care. I currently have a lot of availability to be able to take care of your pets. I can board and attend to your pets any day of the week. I have a fenced-in backyard and two dogs of my own as well.
