“Derek and Chelsea were nothing short of amazing in their care for our 2 dogs while we were away. They constantly sent pictures and updates which put us at ease. We also got in touch with them on short notice and they were able to accommodate us after I brought the dogs out for a meet-and-greet with them (and Piper)! They have a great property if you have active dogs, they went on long walks along/in the creek, through the woods and would also just let them play in the huge yard. Charlie, our 2yr old standard Goldendoodle, has to get 4 pills/day for seizures and they had no problems getting him his meds when he needed to take them. In the end, they were great and we’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for pet care!”

We like to play in the back yard every 1-3hrs and we take breaks frequently so there would be some indoor and outdoor exposure for daily play (weather pending). My yard is fully enclosed so I like to bring my dog out with me to play, sniff, lounge and anything else. I have an outside pool that is for dogs so they can get water, play in it or lay down to cool off whenever they’d like. I have a fenced yard and a friendly fur baby to play with. I also have 2 crates available as needed if it’s a preference of yours. In your home, I can follow any instructions left to make sure your fur-baby feels as comfortable as possible at home in their space without you there.

Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

Currently I work nights Sunday through Wednesday, so I’m currently not available for overnight stays on those days. I can stop by after work in the morning and throughout the day for check ins or walks. Thursday through Sunday (during the day) I’m available. I am happy to provide references and am also open to meeting in person beforehand so that I can answer any questions clients may have. I follow instructions to a “T” and will provide top quality care for your pets.
About: Growing up my family had 3 pups of our own and we also fostered, so i started learning how to work with and train dogs very early on. In 2022 I started dog sitting for people in my neighbourhood. In 2024 I worked at a daycare where I started doing training sessions for some of our clients. By 2025 I got certified in pet CPR and first aid, and started working at a different daycare. I love learning about and working with dogs, and i can’t wait to meet yours! I use a training/care style that makes trust and teamwork between me and your dog, i understand that when setting new expectations or training a new skill it is up to me to help the dog understand, not get frustrated or scare them into submission. I believe patience and consistency are keys to success! I am pretty much fully available weekends, mondays, and tuesdays! Any other day of the week i am available after 6pm when i get out of work. I do not pet sit in my own home because i have 2 disabled cats, however I am willing to stay in your home to pet sit, or just stop by throughout the day/night if that is what you prefer! I can work with any of your dogs special needs and administer medications. Your dogs safety and comfort are my top priority, tell me what you need and I will make it happen!
About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.
About: I have recent experience taking care of 3 puppies in the last 4 years. I currently have 2 cavapoos but love bigger dogs too! I am a dog lover and will cuddle and walk your dog as much as they need/want! I work part time during the summers which leaves me plenty of time to spoil your pups!! Usually boarding would have to be on the weekends but I am flexible if you contact me in advance! I do not have a fenced in yard, yet would love to take your doggie on the leash around my yard.
