I have a German Shepherd puppy of my own who is currently in training and has already graduated level one classes, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, exercise, and positive reinforcement. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I have been cat sitting (both overnight and drop-in visits) for the last few years. I am comfortable with cats who want to be around me 24/7, cats that want me to be as far away as possible, and everything in-between! Recently I have been doing a lot of overnight stays to watch an elderly cat because she gets sick when she gets lonely, and I love my time with her. At my current job I have gained incredibly valuable experience caring for elderly cats who need to receive a litany of medication. I feel comfortable giving cats liquid medications and tablets/capsules orally if the patient will not take it inside of food. I understand that as loving and sweet as our pets are, no one likes taking a bitter medication and I never hold it against them if they're not thrilled about it. I am competent in the towel wrap method too.

I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. Overall, pet care is a consistent responsibility that I fit into both the small breaks in my day and my longer free time at night. Even with a busy schedule, I make sure my pet’s needs are always a priority. I care for pets in my home by creating a safe, active, and comfortable environment where they feel right at home. I have a fenced-in yard, so dogs get plenty of time outside to run and play. I also have a pup of my own who loves being around other dogs, which helps keep visiting pups entertained and social. Throughout the day, they’ll have a mix of playtime with other dogs and one-on-one attention, along with lots of cuddles so they feel cared for and not alone. About: I’m Jess and I’m a full time programmer looking to spend time with dogs! I have had dogs all my life including small and large (150lbs!!) I have had 4 dogs in total since I have been born. I recently moved back home into my own apartment and I’m not able to care for my own dog. I’ve taken care of my own dogs my entire life and I miss it quite a bit! While I’m home, I want to provide dogs care while keeping myself busy as well! I’m very flexible and I’m a hard worker! If there are specifics to your dog, I promise to follow them to the T. I typically work in person during business hours, so I like to care for pets who can be left home alone for 8-9 hours on weekdays. I live with my husband and our golden retriever who loves other dogs. If you hire me for dogsitting it will be just me, though! I'm very tidy and happy to help with little things such as looking after plants and getting mail while I’m there.

I am home all day so your pup will never be alone and will be actively playing all day! My goal is to make your fur baby as comfortable as possible here, like they are at home. About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have just completed my first year of Veterinary Technician school and have done 3 different internships in the field. I am very well versed with simple care, medications, and most importantly love for the animals! My schedule fluctuates very frequently as I have a part time job and im also completeing an internship, however I can easily work my schedule around whatever the animals need! I have a fenced yard with a very friendly pup at home. I can also let your pet in and out of crates, give treats and/or medications, take them on walks, and anything else they may need.
