Mildred and her family treated my dog as one of their own for the few days that he was there and when I picked him up, I felt like I was part of the family as well. About: Hi there.. I have always owned a dog in my life. I have worked at an animal shelter for 2 1/2 years taking care of the dogs. I have been around most breeds and personality types. I am calm and patient around dogs and know how to read their body language. But I also love to be goofy and playful with them when the environment is right. I believe every dog is an individual and what might work for one dog won’t always work for another. I have some dog training under my belt from working with other trainers and taking classes but I’m not certified yet. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! I am currently working part time at an animal shelter so I have plenty of time to dedicate to working with your pups! I currently only offer dog walking and stop ins but will eventually start boarding. I currently don’t offer boarding but I will eventually! About: If you’d ask anyone in my life they will tell you I am a dog person more than human person. I’ve always had immense love for all dogs and do my best to play off their personality :). My three years of experience at a dog daycare/boarding facility has taught me patience with all dogs. I can provide feeding, walking, medicating (have cared for diabetics) and can be a temporary companion for your baby if needed :) While I was in my undergrad I had the wonderful experience of fostering a pitty mix from my local spca for 3 months. When we got him he was extremely underweight and was having a hard time in the shelter. I nursed him back to the happy guy he was all along and he’s now in a happy loving home 🖤 I’m currently working part time and taking classes as I am in the process of completing a masters program. I do not know the days I work week to week but am available to give services 3 times a day (7amish, 2pmish, and in the pm). My family dog is a grazer so we just put some food out for the day and he’ll eat whenever. If your pups have scheduled meals I’m 100% able to work with it. If your pup is high energy and my schedule is open I’m available to play with them, find a park or take them for a walk to give them enrichment. For those with reactive or babies that have a hard time trusting strangers, I completely understand and can work with that as well!!

I am continuing school at Suny New Paltz in the fall and will be commuting so I will be local and around to care for your precious babies :) I give my pets all the love they could ask for and always invite them into my bed to cuddle with me while I watch tv or do homework. I make sure to play with them and give them all the attention and love they need, and give them treats often ;).

She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”

Mildred and her family treated my dog as one of their own for the few days that he was there and when I picked him up, I felt like I was part of the family as well.
