Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

About: Hi there.. I have always owned a dog in my life. I have worked at an animal shelter for 2 1/2 years taking care of the dogs. I have been around most breeds and personality types. I am calm and patient around dogs and know how to read their body language. But I also love to be goofy and playful with them when the environment is right. I believe every dog is an individual and what might work for one dog won’t always work for another. I have some dog training under my belt from working with other trainers and taking classes but I’m not certified yet. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! About: If you’d ask anyone in my life they will tell you I am a dog person more than human person. I’ve always had immense love for all dogs and do my best to play off their personality :). My three years of experience at a dog daycare/boarding facility has taught me patience with all dogs. I can provide feeding, walking, medicating (have cared for diabetics) and can be a temporary companion for your baby if needed :) While I was in my undergrad I had the wonderful experience of fostering a pitty mix from my local spca for 3 months. When we got him he was extremely underweight and was having a hard time in the shelter. If your pup is high energy and my schedule is open I’m available to play with them, find a park or take them for a walk to give them enrichment. About: I’m a 30 year old, married woman. My husband and I are new home owners in Broad Channel, Ny. We currently have a 4 year old beagle named Harvey who is an absolute sweetheart. Over the years we have done extensive research, and expended tons of effort, in behavioral training, especially to help him cope with his anxiety. Therefore, we are familiar and well versed in canine behavior and socialization. His best friend is his roommate, Thor, a 2 year old cat who was raised by Harvey and pretty much acts like a dog. This summer, we are landscaping our large yard which includes a new fence to close in the entire yard. We have a second bedroom that will be outfitted for a pup who needs his or her space. Broad Channel is a quiet, sleepy water-side town five minutes from the largest dog park in NYC (which was recently renovated). On bad weather days, we’ll play with tons of toys at home and watch movies on our extra large couch.

“Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”

Our Australian Cattle Dog and Aussie mix are a handful—energetic, high maintenance, and demanding, with daily exercise/stimulation requirements that can be somewhat daunting. But Gabriel and Annie handled the dogs' every need for a week-long stay. They integrated our dogs into their pack and ensured a safe and playful environment for everyone. And they sent regular updates with cute photos to show us how things were going, putting our minds at ease. Recommended!”

Our baby suffers from allergies, and she was great with keeping up medications and updates on symptoms. It was his first birthday not at home with us, and she went out of her way to ensure his day was special and got him special birthday treats. She made him feel comfortable, very loving and truly caring. I can tell she has a big heart, and really has a love for animals, I saw she really cared. It was so nice to see, she eased my mind, especially as I tend to over worry about him, and he was very happy with her as so were we. We would DEFINITELY rebook. I cannot thank her enough for her care, love, attentiveness she had for our baby Guinness.”

About: Hello, I'm Brooklyn! I have been working with animals for about 15 years in some capacity. I have run my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 10 years, fostered many animals, worked as the foster coordinator for my local shelter and have organized and hosted several fundraising events. Now that I have the space I am expanding into dog and cat boarding in my home. In order to give your pets the care they deserve I will only be booking one family at a time. I can't wait to meet you and your Furry Friends! I am home full time. I am available 7 days a week and most holidays with booking in advance for dog boarding. Contact for questions! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Right now I have a Beagle and a German Shepherd so I’m used to caring for all dogs of different sizes. I’ve dog sat for people in my town and I am able to flex my schedule to meet the specific needs of your dog. I’m currently a college student, student teaching full time. So I am at a school from 8-3 Monday- Friday and off the weekends. I have a big yard at my home, which provides plenty of room for fetch. I have two dogs that are very friendly to new dogs. I can also stay at your home if preferred. I can dog walk, keep a strict feeding schedule, and give frequent potty breaks throughout the day.
